The Rise of Dragon Son-in-Law -
Chapter 409 - 399
Chapter 409: Chapter 399
The next day, Li Yuechan was dragged to the household registration department to change her name.
After returning to the Chu Royal Mansion, Chu Ling directly took Li Yuechan to the Phoenix Blood Pool.
It was a completely sealed secret chamber, with a pool that was boiling.
Within the pool, one could vaguely see a phoenix dancing, shuttling through the blood, which was extremely mystical.
"Yuechan, practice well on your own, and tonight I’ll send a maid to fetch you out," Chu Ling said.
After finishing his words, he didn’t say more and turned to leave.
After Chu Ling left, a charming maid entered the secret chamber.
She was responsible for watching over Li Yuechan, and if there were any significant abnormalities, she could promptly report them.
"Commandery Princess, please undress and descend into the pool," the maid said softly.
"What are the effects of this Phoenix Blood Pool?" Li Yuechan asked.
"It refines the muscles and bones, sublimates the flesh and Primordial Spirit, making you more powerful," the maid replied.
"What about the side effects?" Li Yuechan inquired.
"There aren’t any major side effects, the only one is that it may affect the memory..."
The maid abruptly stopped speaking, hastily shutting her mouth.
She knew she shouldn’t have spoken of it.
But the words had been said and couldn’t be taken back.
"The memory might be affected, is there a possibility of amnesia?" Li Yuechan asked.
"There is such a possibility, but... but I heard Elder Yan say that it’s very unlikely. However, your memory will definitely be influenced, it will just gradually recover over time," the maid replied in a low voice.
"Mhm."
Li Yuechan appeared contemplative.
"Commandery Princess, please don’t say I told you this," the maid said, somewhat scared.
"Don’t worry, I won’t betray you," Li Yuechan reassured her.
After taking a deep breath, she still decided to enter the Phoenix Blood Pool.
She wanted to become stronger; only by being stronger could she have the chance to escape the predicament.
With this in mind, Li Yuechan no longer hesitated, closed the door of the secret chamber, and quickly entered the Phoenix Blood Pool.
...
At Martial Immortal Mountain, Long Chen paid his respects to Ximen Wuhen and then practiced with Qing Zhi.
He contemplated the Six Paths Sword Scripture to further master it.
Suddenly, it was night.
Li Xiu lay in his bed with no desire to sleep.
Qing Zhi in the adjoining room also found it hard to fall asleep.
She tiptoed up, quietly went to Long Chen’s door, and pushed it open.
Long Chen, upon realizing it was Qing Zhi, immediately feigned sleep, wanting to tease her.
Qing Zhi came to the bed and saw Long Chen with his eyes shut. She pouted and murmured, "You said there were activities tonight, yet you’re asleep, how annoying."
After speaking, Qing Zhi didn’t leave, but lifted the quilt and climbed into Long Chen’s bed.
"Husband, are you ignoring your wife?" Qing Zhi pinched Long Chen’s nose.
Long Chen remained still, as if he heard nothing.
After Qing Zhi lightly bit her lip, she slipped her hand under the quilt.
The very next second, Long Chen suddenly opened his eyes: "Qing Zhi, you..."
"Hmph, that’ll teach you to pretend to sleep."
Qing Zhi pouted, but didn’t dare look at Long Chen, her face as red as a ripe apple.
"Is this what you really want?" Long Chen teased.
"It’s not me who wants it; it’s obviously you, you’re the one who wants it," Qing Zhi glared at Long Chen.
"Alright, alright, I want it," Long Chen said with a chuckle. "So where do you propose we start?"
"You’re terrible," Qing Zhi said shyly. "I don’t understand; I don’t know."
"Let me teach you," Long Chen whispered a few words into Qing Zhi’s ear.
After listening, Qing Zhi hesitated for a while before obediently burrowing under the quilt.
Long Chen was astonished; he had not expected Qing Zhi to be so docile, so different from her former cold and haughty self.
"Husband, is it like this?"
She asked, her words muffled.
"Big Sister, did you run off to Brother Long’s room again?"
Just then, Liuli’s voice came again.
Qing Zhi and Long Chen both froze, utterly speechless.
Thump thump thump.
Little Liuli knocked on the door with force: "If you don’t speak, I’m coming in."
"This damned girl is really going to be the death of me."
Qing Zhi gritted her teeth in frustration, forgetting something in the process.
Long Chen caught his breath: "Gently, gently, it hurts."
"Ah, I’m so sorry, my husband, I’m sorry."
Qing Zhi hurriedly apologized, her face flushing red.
"Just wait for me a moment, I’m going to deal with that insensitive little girl."
Long Chen quickly got ready and walked out the door.
Little Liuli glared at Long Chen and asked, "Is my sister in your room?"
"Yes, she is, what about it?"
Long Chen asked.
"Let... let her come out, Master said that girls need to protect themselves and shouldn’t get too close to men."
Little Liuli said.
"You little brat, she and I are husband and wife, husbands and wives are supposed to sleep together, don’t you understand?"
Long Chen patiently explained.
"Why should it be like that? Master never said anything like that."
Little Liuli said earnestly.
"You are really asking for a beating."
Long Chen didn’t hold back as he acted, taking control of little Liuli.
Then, Long Chen found some rope, tied up little Liuli, and carried her to Lan’er’s door, knocking.
"Who is it?"
Lan’er asked.
"It’s me, Long Chen."
"Brother Long, do you need something this late?"
Lan’er opened the door.
She was dressed quite revealingly, her voluptuous figure partially concealed yet strikingly apparent.
Compared to Qing Zhi, Lan’er was much more mature.
But Qing Zhi had a youthful charm that Lan’er could never possess, each with their own merits.
Upon seeing little Liuli all tied up, Lan’er pondered for a moment and then seemed to understand.
"Take good care of her, and while you’re at it, educate her a little on what it means to be husband and wife, and what they’re supposed to do," Long Chen said with a smile.
"Okay, Brother Long, leave it to me."
Lan’er tried to suppress a laugh.
"Alright, thanks a lot."
Long Chen handed little Liuli over to Lan’er, but his hand accidentally brushed against something soft.
Lan’er’s face immediately turned red, her eyes like ripples on water.
Long Chen turned and walked away, without lingering.
"Brother Long, wait a minute."
Lan’er hurriedly called out to Long Chen.
"What is it?" Long Chen asked.
Lan’er hesitated for a few seconds before speaking, "On the first couple days when you came to Martial Immortal Mountain, that night... it was Senior Ximen who asked me to come seduce you, to test you on purpose. It wasn’t my intention."
"I guessed as much, don’t worry, in my heart, you’ve always been pure," Long Chen said with a smile.
Hearing this, Lan’er immediately brightened, "Okay then, Brother Long, you should go be with Qing Zhi now."
"Alright."
Long Chen waved and quickly walked away.
Lan’er, holding little Liuli, entered her room, placed little Liuli on the bed, and said earnestly, "You really don’t understand, do you, you silly girl? No wonder Brother Long had to tie you up."
"He’s just a super big meanie, wah, he took a bath with Big Sister yesterday and they slept together today, so naughty."
Little Liuli pouted.
"Silly girl, they’re married, and that’s how married couples are supposed to be. Come on, let me explain to you what it means to be husband and wife," Lan’er lay down next to little Liuli, explaining patiently.
Little Liuli’s eyes grew wider and rounder: "But what exactly do they do in bed?"
"Why are you curious about this? All you need to know is that it’s perfectly legal and normal for them to lie in the same bed," Lan’er said.
"Come on, Sister Lan’er, I just want to know, please tell me."
