He suddenly shyly leaned beside Lu Beichen, watching Ji Niandong warily.

The big and small father and son together were quite a sight, making Ji Niandong smile. Lu Sinian hurriedly let go of Lu Beichen and asked again, "Mr. Lu, please help me bathe."

His voice was soft and filled with a sense of helplessness.

Only then was Lu Beichen satisfied, tidying up the things in his hands as he stood up and said, "Remember what your dad taught you about being polite. Don’t forget next time!"

"Got it!" he replied discontentedly.

"Let’s go!" Lu Beichen put his hand on the back of his head and led him away.

Lu Sinian shook off his hand and ran off to his room.

Lu Beichen sighed and turned to Ji Niandong, saying, "You should bathe too and rest early!"

As soon as they entered Lu Sinian’s room and closed the door, Lu Beichen called out, "Stop!"

His tone was still gentle, and his face remained calm. Lu Sinian turned around and asked, "What’s up?"

"Take your clothes, go to the bathroom, and start the hot water!" Though his voice was light, it carried a natural commanding tone, and Lu Sinian obediently followed instructions.

His small arms and legs crawled onto the bathtub and began to run hot water!

Lu Beichen sat on a nearby chair watching him, his gaze sharp but his posture relaxed, "It’s summer, don’t put too much hot water!"

"Aren’t you here to help me?" Lu Sinian asked unhappily.

Lu Beichen replied calmly, "Did daddy ever tell you to do things yourself when you can?"

Lu Sinian swallowed his words, turned off the hot water, and started adding cold water. When it seemed enough, Lu Beichen said, "Alright, test the water temperature. If it’s okay, turn off the faucet and undress yourself to get in."

He followed the instructions, tested the water temperature, then squeezed a large dollop of shower gel into the water and began undressing.

He successfully took off his clothes and pants, but couldn’t remove the small necktie around his neck. In the end, he had to stand before Lu Beichen, "Help me take it off!"

Asking for help felt reluctant, turning his face aside not looking at him.

Lu Beichen reached over and untied the necktie. As he was about to slip away, Lu Beichen pulled him back, "Look at me! I hadn’t realized my son, Lu Beichen’s child, has become such a great liar!"
