Hidden beneath the Slice of Life theme is the conflict of worlds. A Normal Landlord, Oldest Vampire of Unknown Origin, A Doggy, A Cat and a Mermaid under the guidance of Goddess Raven12345 will record the End, the Start and the Destruction of Civilizations.
It's a Great Book by this Author. The Author Yuan Tong is famous for Deep Sea Embers which gives you similar vobes to LoTM. He also has started another great book namely "Sword of Dawnbreaker" and recently publishing "Dimensional Hotel". The Dimensional Hotel will hook you from first chapter much like Deep Sea Embers.
If I ever wanna write sci fi my inspiration will be this Author.
