Daniel didn’t care about what the models were thinking or the expressions on their faces. Pointing at the models’ faces, he continued to speak to Situ Xin, "If it were any other time, I’d just apply more foundation on them. Although Daniel’s words were direct and a bit harsh, Situ Xin had to admit that what he said made sense. Her designs were evening gowns, some even a bit sexy. However, owing to the unique embroidery of Situ Xin, she didn’t use styles that were too flamboyant, so the makeup for these clothes definitely couldn’t lean towards heavy.

Following Daniel’s words, Situ Xin took a closer look at the few models and indeed, their skin was in terrible condition. Even Zhen Ni, who had the best skin, didn’t meet Situ Xin’s standards.

"Oh dear, why is their skin like this? I couldn’t tell when they were wearing makeup just now." Lu Juan, who had come over amidst the commotion, happened to hear what Daniel was discussing with Situ Xin.

However, Lu Juan was genuinely shocked by the skin of these models after their makeup had been removed, a veritable concentration camp of acne. Besides the acne, the blemishes on their faces were quite horrific.

Looking at the models’ skin then touching her own, Lu Juan said with a hint of emotion, "Oh my, why don’t these models have skin as good as mine?"

Hearing Lu Juan’s words, Situ Xin felt the urge to roll her eyes. What was her aunt talking about? Could her skin be anything but good? Situ Xin wasn’t stingy at all when it came to sharing the Spiritual Spring and other products that were beneficial for the skin and appearance with them.

"Baby, I think we should just go for thicker foundation on them, although this might undermine the colors of your designs, but it will be much better than all these pimples and blemishes they have," Lu Juan remarked. "That won’t do. I can’t accept such a job," Daniel interjected before Situ Xin could speak. He had his professional integrity. If he could produce a perfect effect, he refused to cut corners on the job.

"Daniel, don’t worry just yet. Rest assured, I’m a perfectionist too and won’t choose to skimp," Situ Xin reassured Daniel. Then she turned to comfort Lu Juan, her aunt, who had been extremely busy preparing for the fashion show lately, "Auntie, you don’t need to worry or panic about the show. I’ve already thought of a solution."

"What solution?" Both Daniel and Lu Juan perked up, asking in unison upon hearing Situ Xin’s mention of a solution.

"Auntie, didn’t our ’Xin’ release skincare and makeup products domestically? I just so happen to have brought some with me, we can let them use it for a few days to improve their skin," Situ Xin said, posing it as a question, but in fact, she was already sharing the solution with Lu Juan and Daniel.

"But, I also often visit the ’Xin’ boutiques, and I’ve never seen makeup products for sale there?" Daniel recalled his visits to the ’Xin’ boutiques, where he had certainly not seen any makeup products for sale. Had there been any, he would have definitely tried them out.

Daniel’s words elicited a smile from both Situ Xin and Lu Juan. Lu Juan explained, "Of course, you wouldn’t find makeup products in BL’s boutiques, not just BL, but you wouldn’t find them in any ’Xin’ boutiques outside of Country H either. You see, the makeup line is only released domestically in Country H."

"Oh, I see. That explains it. I was wondering why I hadn’t noticed them at the ’Xin’ boutiques," Daniel finally understood after Lu Juan’s explanation, nodding his head. "But why? Why are they only sold in the boutiques in Country H and not in other countries? This sounds like preferential treatment to me, and I protest," he exclaimed, looking dissatisfied at Situ Xin and Lu Juan.

"It’s not preferential treatment. This line of makeup products is the latest development from our company. Initially, they only appeared in Country H’s boutiques as gifts for reaching a certain purchase amount, not as items for sale. It’s only because the products really are effective that we started selling them upon customer demand. For BL and our boutiques in other countries, they will probably start carrying them after this fashion week is over," explained Situ Xin, who usually only provided a general direction for the sales of ’Xin’ Clothing Company, leaving the details to Lu Juan who, as the president, was responsible for them.

"I see," Daniel mused for a moment before saying, "Xin, when you bring over those makeup products, give me a share too, will you?"
