"Xiao Xin, are you free tonight? I have a PARTY tonight and I need a female companion. So, Xiao Xin, can you accompany me to it?" Xiao Muli was slightly lying to get Situ Xin to join him for tonight’s PARTY.

This PARTY was specially organized by Brown Kress in honor of welcoming Xiao Muli. Although he mentioned that if Xiao Muli had a female companion, he should bring her along. It was Brown Kress’s casual remark that gave Xiao Muli the idea to involve Situ Xin.

The reason was that Xiao Muli had been so busy dealing with Xiao’s affairs in BL that he hadn’t had the time to look for Situ Xin, which left him yearning for her. Xiao Muli felt that if he couldn’t see Situ Xin soon, he would probably fall ill with longing.

"Tonight, ah," Situ Xin pondered for a moment, and not responding immediately made Xiao Muli’s heart tighten—he was afraid Situ Xin would flat out reject his request. However, Situ Xin didn’t keep Xiao Muli tense for long and readily agreed, "Sure, I don’t have any plans for tonight anyway." More so, Situ Xin thought, although Xiao Muli was still under observation, she was still his girlfriend. For PARTIES that required a female companion, she, the official girlfriend, should certainly make an appearance; she didn’t want Xiao Muli to be escorting another woman at such events.

"Xiao Xin, you really agreed?" Xiao Muli had prepared a whole set of persuasive arguments in his mind, but Situ Xin didn’t let him say any of it before agreeing, which thrilled him.

"Yes, I’ve agreed. I won’t talk much now; I need to prepare the evening dress. Wait for the time to come and pick me up at the hotel," she said, hanging up before Xiao Muli could respond.

Xiao Muli, listening to the "beep beep" sound on the phone, wasn’t at all upset about being hung up on; instead, he showed a rare, silly smile. This startled his assistant who walked in to report on his schedule.

Anyone walking in and seeing a person who usually has a stern face without a smile, now holding a phone and showing that silly smile, would be shocked. For a moment, Xiao Muli’s assistant wondered if his boss had been cursed recently.

After hanging up, Situ Xin zipped into her space. Since she had agreed to attend the PARTY with Xiao Muli that evening, she was determined not to let him down. Seeing Baibai grumbling beside the hot spring pool with displeasure, Situ Xin gave it its favorite fruit wine to appease it, and Baibai was mollified.
