Watching Situ Xin’s beaming smile, both Situ Che and Loo Jie felt a wave of headache. They regretted accepting Ruan Yanbing’s invitation today. Both of them also glared fiercely at Lan Junxi; this meddlesome guy was to blame.

"How about it, let’s go, hurry to the next spot," Situ Xin said eagerly. But the young masters present all wore a bitter expression on their faces. They dared not take this little princess to those kinds of places.

Once Situ Xin had made up her mind, not even their old man or Old Deng trying to persuade her would likely make her change her mind.

Loo Jie and Situ Che’s indifference made Ruan Yanbing think that the two hadn’t understood their peers’ intentions, so he braced himself and stood up, saying to Situ Che and Loo Jie, "Hey, I’m talking to both of you, make a statement already."

Ruan Yanbing was embarrassed to say directly, "You two, hurry up and persuade your little princess to go home." So he beat around the bush instead.

Situ Xin saw all these maneuvers, finding it amusing to watch the young princes of the Capital City get headaches.

It wasn’t that Loo Jie and Situ Che didn’t catch the meaning behind everyone else’s glances, but they were just powerless.

"Fatty, didn’t you previously say that your old man was urging you to go home today, that he had something to discuss with you?" Loo Jie looked at Fatty and said.

"Ah, oh, right, my old man did call me, insisting that I have to go back today because there’s a very important matter, said that if I don’t go back today he’ll break my legs and never let me out again." Fatty promptly continued upon catching Loo Jie’s cue, even pretending to be helpless before his old man. "So shall I leave first?" Fatty asked Situ Xin with a cautious tone.

Situ Xin didn’t answer Fatty, but instead turned to look at Loo Jie with a smirk. Loo Jie, under Situ Xin’s gaze, averted his eyes and touched his nose.

Situ Xin was very well aware of her brother’s usual little quirks; Loo Jie touching his nose meant he was feeling guilty or nervous. And now, clearly, it was a bit of both.

"Fatty, give me your old man’s phone number." Situ Xin wasn’t dead set on going but with everyone being so evasive today, it made her curious. Could there be something behind these young masters that she wasn’t aware of?

"Eh? What did you say?" Fatty, caught off-guard by Situ Xin’s sudden request, first didn’t catch on, then his face showed a look suggesting maybe he was experiencing hearing problems.

"Don’t ’eh’ me, I said give me your old man’s phone number; I’ll talk to him, just say that Brother Fatty is hanging out with me and will go back a bit later. I think your grandfather shouldn’t have any objection," Situ Xin looked at Fatty seriously.

"No need, no need! I just remembered, my old man didn’t urge me that urgently. I won’t go, I’ll just stay here," Fatty, after exchanging a glance with Loo Jie, slowly retreated back to his seat.

"Anyone else who has things to do tonight, or if their old man or Old Madam at home has called them back, I can call and talk to them for you," Situ Xin watched Fatty slowly back down, smiled, and swept her gaze across each person present.

Now that Situ Xin offered to call their families, who would dare step forward and say they needed to go back?

Seeing that no one came forward, she continued, "Well, since nobody has any other business, let’s go and proceed to the next spot." Situ Xin pointed at Fatty as she spoke, "Brother Fatty, you lead the way."

The Fatty who was called out felt like crying.

Just as Fatty was about to bite the bullet and take everyone to the next spot, Situ Che’s phone rang. He picked it up, his brows furrowed, and with a serious expression on his face, he muttered something to Loo Jie before taking his phone into the restroom of the private room.

In no time, Situ Che came out of the restroom with his phone. He then said to Situ Xin, "Baby, Brother Jie and I received a call; there’s urgent business that we need to take care of, so we won’t be able to join the next activity. Let’s send you back home now." Just after Situ Che had received the notice from his superior to rush back to the team immediately for an urgent mission, he felt a sense of relief for the first time, grateful that the mission came so timely.

With Situ Che and Loo Jie having urgent duties, Situ Xin couldn’t keep harping on the subject. After all, there were priorities, so she quickly agreed, "Okay then, you guys go ahead; I can have Brother Ruan send me back."

"Right, right, you all go attend to your urgent matters, I’ll take Xiao Xin home right now," Ruan Yanbing agreed readily. Now, as long as this little princess agreed to go home, he would do anything they asked.

"Then, Yanbing, do us the favor of taking our baby safely back home," Situ Che and Loo Jie also wanted to personally take Situ Xin home. But the urgency in their team leader’s voice over the phone made them realize that this mission must be critical.
