"Uncle Liu, please don’t get agitated. Getting worked up won’t solve anything," Situ Xin said, looking at the chaotic scene and massaging her forehead with a headache. Then she turned to Yun Ling and said, "If you don’t want to die an ugly death, then just keep staying here."

Baibai had sensed that Situ Xin seemed very concerned about Liu Yuxiang’s family troubles and had probed Yun Ling’s inner world. After Baibai told Situ Xin what it had discovered, Situ Xin said to Baibai, "No wonder I disliked her so much. She’s just someone who looks innocent on the outside, but she’s truly dark inside."

Though Yun Ling appeared young, barely in her twenties, her life experience, or rather, the men she had been involved with, was not insignificant. Right now, even as she was with Liu Yubin, she was seeing another man—of course, this other guy was definitely younger than Li Yubin, but not as rich or powerful as Liu Yubin.

After hearing Baibai’s words, Situ Xin could roughly guess what Yun Ling was up to.

Liu Yubin’s look towards Situ Xin went unnoticed by Liu Yuxiang and Liu Guobiao. However, Xia Yujie, standing behind Situ Xin, saw everything clearly and his eyes darkened.

If Liu Yubin did or said anything bad to Situ Xin, Xia Yujie would not hesitate to step in and give Liu Yubin a severe beating. He would not show any mercy just because Liu Yubin was the brother of his good friend, Liu Yuxiang. And, Xia Yujie’s impression of Liu Yubin wasn’t good, to begin with.

Situ Xin saw the look Liu Yubin gave her and couldn’t help but roll her eyes, thinking maliciously, "With your attitude, do you think I want to help you? If it weren’t for the sake of your father and brother, I wouldn’t have bothered lifting a finger. When you’re swindled out of every penny, I’d like to see if you can still make that face."

Baibai was more direct, looking at Liu Yubin, wishing it could slap him dead with one paw.

However, Liu Yubin’s mouth opened and closed, but he ultimately swallowed his words.
