Chapter 142: Chapter 142: Time to Make a Move (3)_1

"We’ve all arrived, and we’re all standing by," Liu Yuxiang replied. "Then, Master, let us depart."

"Yes, it’s time to leave. Go get in the car; we’ll meet up at Broadway," said Situ Xin, signaling Baibai to leave. Situ Xin chose to sit openly on Baibai’s back for a reason: few people from the Dragon Society were actually seen in public, and when she went out as the Dragon Society’s Young Miss, no one could clearly see her face. So even though everyone would be surprised by her grand entrance and might want to investigate, they wouldn’t be able to uncover anything.

"Baibai, there’s no rush. Take it slow," Situ Xin knew the speed Baibai could achieve, and she did not want to be the one waiting for others, as she disliked waiting.

"Master, I understand," Baibai complied with Situ Xin’s pace and leisurely headed toward Broadway.

By the time Situ Xin arrived at Broadway atop Baibai, Liu Yuxiang and the five squads of elites were already waiting at the entrance. Of course, they wouldn’t be waiting right at the entrance, but rather, they were in their cars, hidden in the shadows.

"Why hasn’t Miss arrived yet? She couldn’t have failed to find us, could she?" No sooner had the baby-faced young man finished his sentence than someone smacked him from behind.

"Xiao Jiu, think before you speak. What kind of person is Miss? How could she not find us?" said a stunningly beautiful woman. Just as she finished her sentence, there was a knock on the car window.

"Hey, everyone can come out now. We’ve got work to do," said Situ Xin. As soon as her voice fell, the car door swung open with a whoosh.

"Ah, Master, you finally arrived. I thought you got lost for a second there," Liu Yuxiang teased the moment he saw Situ Xin.

"You’re the only one with a sharp tongue. Done yet? Have the leaders of the Green Tiger Gang and those other gangs gone in yet?" asked Situ Xin, sitting atop Baibai, swinging her legs leisurely.

"They have. When we arrived, those gang leaders were walking in with a lot of chatter and laughter," the cute-faced Xiao Jiu poked his head out and contributed.

"Is that so, hehe, since they’re all here, let’s go in. We wouldn’t want to keep them waiting too long. It’s rather impolite to keep guests waiting," said Situ Xin with a sly gleam in her eyes as she spoke.

"Yeah, it’s not good to keep guests waiting too long. Let’s head inside," said Liu Yuxiang, excitement bursting within him. He was imagining the varied expressions on the gang leaders’ faces when they saw them; it would surely be a colorful display. The Dragon Society’s elite teams were similarly picturing the leaders’ faces when they barged in—every one of them excited at the prospect.

The Dragon Society’s elites, having spent so much time under Situ Xin’s influence, had all developed a rather scheming nature.

"Well, what are we waiting for? Let’s go," commanded Situ Xin. The Dragon Society’s five elite squads acted swiftly and uniformly, getting out of the cars and preparing their gear.

Situ Xin, looking at the five squads she had personally trained, nodded in satisfaction. "Let’s go," she said, and as her words fell, Baibai obediently turned and headed for Broadway’s main entrance.

Walking to Situ Xin’s right side, Liu Yuxiang looked at Baibai beneath her and with a smile said, "Master, what do you think the faces of the people inside the store will look like when they see you like this? Will they be so frightened they won’t dare to move?"

On hearing Liu Yuxiang’s slightly malicious comment, Situ Xin looked up at him. "You’ll find out soon enough," she replied.

As Situ Xin and Liu Yuxiang approached the entrance of Broadway, the receptionist naturally greeted them, "Welcome—" But after uttering just two of the four words, the greeting broke off, as one by one they stood there in astonishment before screaming out in realization, "Ah, a tiger!"

As they did, the receptionists started to run inside, but after taking just a few steps, they were frozen in place, unable to move. "So noisy, it’s better now that it’s quiet," said Situ Xin nonchalantly, sitting astride Baibai.

Seeing the immobilized receptionists, Liu Yuxiang looked at Situ Xin with admiration. "Master, when will I be able to learn that move?" he asked.

"When your Inner Strength reaches a certain level," Situ Xin answered, then directed Baibai to walk inside. After taking a few steps forward, she looked back at Liu Yuxiang, "Which private room are they in?"

"Ah, they’re in private room 808," Liu Yuxiang responded, as he hurried to catch up with the Dragon Society’s elite teams.

"Then lead the way," Situ Xin instructed, letting Baibai stand still. Broadway in her time was quite different compared to the one in her past life; the difference was not minor. Back then, both the decoration and the service differed significantly from what they were now. So, the current Broadway seemed unfamiliar to her, and she was not sure where private room 808 was.

"Sure," Liu Yuxiang had actually been to Broadway a few times before, usually with Xia Yujie, so he knew where private room 808 was.

Liu Yuxiang led the way, with Situ Xin sitting on Baibai following behind, and the rest of the elite teams from the Dragon Society following closely in step. Suddenly, Situ Xin’s eyes narrowed.

She noticed a few people sneakily retreating into the crowd and then quickly running towards the back. Situ Xin could tell from their actions what they were up to. Before others could notice her making a move, those sneaking individuals were already unconscious on the ground, causing no small amount of alarm among the onlookers, especially the women with their inherently timid nature. Not understanding what had happened but seeing people suddenly falling over, they started to scream.

For a moment, Broadway was plunged into chaos while Situ Xin and her group remained indifferent to the hubbub in the hall, not even glancing in that direction, proceeding as planned.

The Green Tiger Gang, along with a few smaller gangs’ leaders coming to Broadway for a meeting, undoubtedly had brought their underworld thugs for show. Moreover, since this was the Green Tiger Gang’s turf, there were certainly many of their subordinates around. The sneaky individuals that Situ Xin had noticed were the Green Tiger Gang leader’s underlings, who had snuck out to enjoy themselves while their boss was busy discussing matters. Those same Green Tiger Gang underlings had caught a glimpse of Liu Yuxiang during a previous gang clash.
