Chapter 138: Chapter 138 Trouble Strikes (2)_1

If it hadn’t been for his master personally giving it to him to hold, he would have thrown this little White Tiger to the ground long ago.

"Ah," Liu Yuxiang was pulled back from his staring contest with Baibai by Xiao Hei’s voice, "Master does things for her own reasons. I reckon Master wouldn’t harm Ah Jie."

After hearing what Liu Yuxiang had said, the elders nodded in agreement. They all knew that for the matters of the Dragon Society, Situ Xin had offered significant help from behind the scenes.

In the guardian ward, after dealing with the doctors and nurses, Situ Xin walked over to the bedside and removed all the needles from Xia Yujie’s hand. She even disconnected all sorts of devices attached to Xia Yujie’s body.

Then, she reached out to take Xia Yujie’s pulse. After checking, she first took out a small porcelain bottle from her bag and stuffed an elixir into Xia Yujie’s mouth. At this time, Xia Yujie was entirely unconscious, so he simply couldn’t swallow the elixir.

With no alternative, Situ Xin had to stimulate her own Fire Spirit Qi to slowly dissolve the elixir in Xia Yujie’s mouth into liquid form, which then trickled down his throat.

This affair with the Fire Spirit Qi was a discovery Situ Xin made while treating Old Deng. Since the beginning of treating Old Deng’s illness, she felt her control of Spiritual Energy had become more flexible. As she used Spiritual Energy more frequently in treating Old Deng, Situ Xin discovered she could actually separate her Spiritual Energy into elemental types for control.

While she controlled each individual Spirit Qi, the color of the Spiritual Energy changed and was no longer white. It now differentiated into the colors of the five elements. However, when Situ Xin didn’t purposefully control an individual Spirit Qi, the Spiritual Energy in her body remained pure white.

After feeding Xia Yujie the elixir, Situ Xin climbed onto the hospital bed. She needed to check Xia Yujie’s wound, but her current height made it quite difficult to reach. So she simply climbed onto the bed.

Situ Xin unwrapped the bandage that was bound over Xia Yujie’s wound. The doctors had already sutured his wound after removing the bullet, and the surface of the sutured wound looked fine with no signs of bleeding. But what Situ Xin could see within Xia Yujie’s wound was a mess.

Blood continued to ooze inside. Utilizing a bit of Spiritual Energy to permeate the wound and into Xia Yujie’s body, she wanted to find out why Xia Yujie’s wound kept bleeding because logically, having removed the bullet and preventing infection, there shouldn’t have been a problem.

As a strand of Spiritual Energy entered Xia Yujie’s body, Situ Xin finally understood the situation and couldn’t help but swear, "SHIT." Then, she took out a set of surgical tools from her bag.

These were made by Situ Xin herself in the laboratory of her space because, in her previous life, when they received gun wounds to the arms or legs, they wouldn’t go to the hospital but deal with it themselves. So she had developed the habit of carrying surgical tools with her.

Situ Xin used the sterilization tools in the ward to sterilize her surgical tools, then began to open up Xia Yujie’s sutured wound.

Outside, Liu Yuxiang and the elders, who were keenly observing Situ Xin’s every move, exclaimed in surprise after seeing her actions, "Miss, what are you doing?"

"Why is Miss undoing the Young Master’s sutured wounds?" If they didn’t know that Situ Xin wouldn’t harm Xia Yujie, they would have rushed in long ago.

"I think, Master is treating Ah Jie," Liu Yuxiang said firmly as he looked at Situ Xin in the ward. Baibai, having heard this, nodded in approval and decided to be slightly nicer to his master’s disciple.

Inside the guardian ward, as soon as Situ Xin had undone a bit of Xia Yujie’s wound, blood began to seep out. She quickly took out an exquisite wooden box from her bag, then extracted three Seven-colored Divine Needles and pierced them around Xia Yujie’s wound. She injected a bit of Spiritual Energy into the needles, and blood stopped coming from Xia Yujie’s wound.

Situ Xin continued to open all the wounds on Xia Yujie’s body and then took out a pair of tweezers, extracting tiny fragments of the bullet from a depth of one finger below the surface. After removing the fragments, she didn’t stop there but went on to pick out every last tiny fragment of the bullet remaining inside his body.

As Situ Xin frowned slightly at the tiny fragments of the bullet extracted with her tweezers, she realized that even though the sniper hadn’t hit Xia Yujie’s vitals, without her presence, Xia Yujie wouldn’t have survived this ordeal, or at least his condition would have been much worse.

After removing all the remaining bullet fragments, Situ Xin used her Spiritual Power to probe inside again, ensuring no more fragments were left. She then took out another small porcelain bottle from her bag, sprinkled a bit of white powder into the wound, and sutured it up.

Once she finished, sweat appeared on Situ Xin’s forehead. She took a deep breath before climbing down from the bed and, without even glancing at the doctors and nurses lying on the ground, she left the ward directly.

"Miss, how’s the Young Master’s condition?" Xiao Hei asked anxiously upon seeing Situ Xin emerge.

"Xia Yujie’s injuries have been contained. He should be fine once he wakes up," Situ Xin said as soon as she had finished speaking, Baibai, who had been with Liu Yuxiang, immediately jumped into her arms and nuzzled her affectionately.

"Really? The Young Master is alright?" one of the elders asked incredulously.

"Yes, he’s fine now. If you’re worried, you can stay and watch," Situ Xin finished, then turned to Liu Yuxiang, "Xiang, come with me for a moment and explain what happened during this period of time."

"Yes." Relieved that Xia Yujie was alright, Liu Yuxiang thought to himself, "Master is truly formidable."

Situ Xin and Liu Yuxiang went to the headquarters of the Dragon Society, and due to the attack on Xia Yujie, the entire organization was steeped in an atmosphere of tension. The patrols around the Dragon Society’s headquarters had significantly increased overnight.
