Chapter 274: The Pirate’s Domain
Chapter 274: The Pirate’s Domain
"Kraven?"
"Hmm?" he replied.
"You won’t hurt the crew members, will you?" Isadora asked, praying that he didn’t intend to skin anyone alive.
She drew circles on his bare chest, allowing her finger to record the scars there.
"Not if they behave."
Isadora placed her palm on his chest, giving a light push so that she could see him. He had his eyes closed, but she knew he listened, and she was determined to ensure the crew’s safety.
They did what they had to by hijacking the ship, but that doesn’t mean they would imprison the innocent souls.
They’d been sailing for moons—she stopped counting after three moons. Sooner or later, they’d be in the pirates’ domain, which was said to be extremely dangerous.
"When we get to our destination, we have to make sure they get back safely. Please?"
Kraven opened his eyes, raising an eyebrow.
"Mercy. That is part of being a leader," Isadora said with a smile.
Over the moons, she had taught Kraven some things. Thanks to Logi helping out with some key points, she might just be able to make a king out of him.
She knew nothing of what kings do, but she mostly tried to make Kraven have a touch with his sane mind instead of depending fully on the madness to alter his actions.
It has been difficult, and the response she got each time whenever she asked what he would do in any given situation both terrified and disturbed her.
But she didn’t give up, and thankfully, he was getting better. She hoped.
"And who told you I don’t have mercy?"
Isadora placed her chin on his chest. "Those are words coming from a madman."
Before she could blink, Kraven flipped her. "Careful, darling, the madman will eat you alive."
She giggled. "Remember what I said?"
"Which part?" He replied, lips descending on her exposed breast, his teeth gnawing the already sore area.
Isadora hissed, but she forced herself to speak. "I want to guide you on this path, Kraven. Let me."
"You’re guiding me." His hand slipped between her legs, rubbing against her wet hole. "But you can’t change me."
"I know that, I just want to make sure the people accept you and see there’s more to you than—" Her breathing hitched when he penetrated two fingers inside her, going impossibly slow that it became torturous.
"Hmph, that sounds like a great idea. Who else will guide me if not my feisty mate? Such power you hold over me, darling. Capable of taming the madman. Am I right?"
Isadora tried to speak, but she focused too much on the way his finger worked on her good.
There was something about his random gentleness that stalled her each time. The way his fingers would tease and await the perfect time to deliver. Almost like he was studying every single response just to give her what she desired.
"You haven’t answered my question, darling."
"Ye... Yes."
"So tell me, what more should I have in mind to be the king you deserve?"
"You—" Isadora couldn’t get the words out because Kraven placed a finger on her lips.
Frowning, she tried to question him and ask why he stopped fingering her, but the look in Kraven’s eyes halted her. There was an eerie glow to them, and he wasn’t looking at her but the window.
Suddenly, Isadora could feel it; something was wrong. A loud blast came through, and the ship shook from the impact.
"Get dressed, now!" Kraven snapped, getting off her, wearing his tunic.
"What was that?" She asked, trying to fit into her pants.
"Who else would attack a ship in the middle of nowhere?" He grabbed another of his tunics and wore it over her head, and she quickly slid her hand through the sleeves.
"Pirates," Isadora said with wide eyes. "They found us."
"We’re in their territory now."

The top deck was in disarray. A large ship beside theirs, as cannons were being fired occasionally, and taking everything apart. Enthusiastic outcries were heard as the pirate swung on the ropes and invaded their ship.
Isadora and Kraven emerge to the top deck, watching the incoming attacks.
The pirates were almost cluttering the ship, and at any moment, they would massacre everyone.
"Kraven, you promised!" Isadora yelled amidst the loud noise.
Kraven growled but did it anyway. He stretched his hand out, and all the running crew members vanished in a weave of shadow, as well as their captain.
"Where did you send them?"
"Back to the port, happy now?"
Isadora smiled, grabbed the collar of his tunic, and kissed him briefly.
Kraven was in a pause, a smile on his lips, and then he opened his eyes. "Now this is a reward I’ll always look forward to. I’m in the mood for killing pirates and getting back to what we were doing."
Isadora gave him a look and turned back to the pirates landing on their ship.
Ekko watched the scene from the top of the sails, waiting to be given the order to attack.
Nyssa emerged on the topdeck. "Kraven?" She asked. "Anytime now."
"Well, lookie what we have here, just three on the ship?" A pirate stepped forward. The captain of the ship,
He wore a tricorn hat and he’d a beard that was really in need of a shave, covering his entire chin and cheeks. A nose ring on his nose.
"Four, there’s one at the top," a pirate corrected. "Lingering there like a creep! A sight for sore eyes."
"Shut up!" the captain snapped, bringing out his flintlock and pointing at Isadora, who captured his eyes because of how luminous her skin was. "Now if you would be so kind and show us something worth looting in this shithole."
Isadora replied unfazed. "There will be no looting for the likes of you."
The pirate looked over to his crew. "You heard that, maggots? The lassie said there will be no looting for the likes of us."
There was a snot, then a roar of laughter followed as they all cackled in mockery.
"A sweet thing you are, and funny too," he snorted. "Perhaps warm my—"
Kraven swung his blade before he could finish that statement. The captain’s hand came off and dropped to the ground whilst still holding onto his flintlock.
He screamed, and surprisingly like a girl.
Isadora winced, jolting back to the reality of what Kraven had done. It happened so quickly that she didn’t have time to process it.
"My hand!" he cried, clenching it to his chest. "You cut my fucking hand!"
Kraven used his thumb to wipe off the blood that had smeared his face. "Next time, you point that weapon at her and utter those disgusting words to my face. I’ll consider taking far more than that. I’ll take your tongue next and make you chew it before I gut it out of you."
The captain shivered in pure horror, given the fact that he had said the words in an eerily calm voice.
He looked over the rest of them. "Now, shall we talk? Or do you prefer we fight it out? Whatever it’ll be, I’m ready. I want blood."
"W-What do you want, kind sir?" The captain said with pleading eyes, hoping he could appeal to him now and keep his tongue.
"An audience with your pirate Lord."
The captain froze not just by his words but by taking a look at this terrifying Fae more clearly.
The silver eyes, the shaded silver hair.
"The Reaper!"
The other pirates backed away in stupefaction.
"Bless me eyes, not just the Reaper, the Prince of the realm!" Another said from the crowd.
"Aye!"
"The gods bless me soul, it’s really him!"
"Aye, that be true."
"By me beard," The captain said.
"Seems like my name has already reached the seas, interesting."
"The prophecy," Isadora mumbled under her breath. Her plan was successful.
"That means she’s the light bringer!"
All eyes fell on Isadora, and she tensed at how they looked at her in wonder.
Nyssa glared heavily at Isadora, hating the attention she got. This was supposed to be Kraven’s moment of glory and truth, yet she was included.
"It doesn’t matter!" the captain yelled. "No one is worthy to meet the pirate lord!"
"AYE!" The others yelled, suddenly there was not a spark of fear in their eyes as if they had already surrendered to their fates.
Isadora stepped forward and rolled up her sleeves. "Maybe this will change your mind."
They all glanced at the red skull rune on her wrist.
"The rune, she bears the mark of our Lord!"
"She’s his property."
"She must go to him."
"We must take her there!"
Kraven’s teeth clenched, hating this even more. How dare them call her his property?
"Then you will take me, won’t you?"
The captain smirked, his face beaded in sweat from the loss of blood, and yet he still managed to bow. "Aye!"
"AYE!"
"Welcome aboard, lassie, the pirate lord would be pleased to meet his guest."
"Guests," Kraven corrected, suddenly having the urge to take their heads, but he maintained some semblance of control.
"Fine!" The captain growled in agreement. "But we take what is left of the ship, and then we won’t just take two of you but all. Consider it our gold."
Kraven gave a tight nod in agreement.
He grinned wildly. "I’m Merry by the way, but you can call me One-hand Merry." He raised his bloody arm and cackled sharply showing his blackened teeth
"Maggots! Hoist the sail, take the barrels, play the flute, and beat the drums!" He faced his crew. "We sail for Skull Isle."
"YARRR!" The pirates clamored.
