Chapter 801: Chapter 762: The Fear of the Demon Gods

Netherworld Prison.

The battlefield of Long Di and Yuan Yi was submerged by a vast energy, rendering it impossible for anyone to see the whole picture inside.

Within the surging flows of alien power, stood an ancient Giant Ape with an imposing presence, as if it was an eternal range of mountains and rivers.

Its colossal head bore a pair of ice blue eyes that seemed like the sun and moon embedded in its forehead, emanating a heart-palpitating demonic light.

The bloodline secrets originating from it turned into crimson lightning upon the land below, solidifying into a world-ending whip, and forming thunderbolts that strangled the Soul Spirits and Ghost Objects, ravaging the vastest expanse of the Netherworld Prison’s continent.

The basic laws of the land, under the force exerted by Long Di, materialized into resplendent chains of Dao marks.

All of the Spiritual Energy in the Netherworld Realm surged ceaselessly, endowing every Dao mark, every chain of order, with the power to destroy heaven and earth.

Though Long Di’s figure was not to be seen, His presence filled that continent, as well as the entire Netherworld Realm.

"Into the sea!"

A light and leisurely chuckle sounded from the land floating over the boundless deep sea.

The voice came from Long Di, but He was still nowhere to be seen.

But in the next moment, the massive land where Long Di and Yuan Yi had been engaged in fierce battle suddenly plunged into the sea with a thunderous crash.

Atop the sea, within the thick clouds of Qi and Blood, only Yuan Yi’s gigantic ape head could be seen, barely discernible.

"Fa Jie, keep watch over the surface for me, I’m going down to the sea to meet with Long Di," He commanded, His ice blue eyes, like the sun and moon, suddenly igniting within the blood-red clouds and fixing their gaze upon the Great Demon God Fa Jie, "Keep a close eye on Bai Zi!"

"Rest assured, leave it to me!"

The Great Demon God Fa Jie grinned viciously, and from the demonic depths evolved by his towering Magic Power, myriad ill and sinister thoughts manifested in all forms of life, twisting and distorting Bai Zi’s heart and mind.

"Hiss!"

His vicious laughter was abruptly cut short as intense Thunderous Lightning suddenly spurted from His nostrils and mouth, silencing Him.

"Purgatory! Pang Jian!"

Startled, Fa Jie’s Demon Body shuddered, and He couldn’t help but bellow curses.

In the midst of the sky, stepping on a golden insect, Bai Zi, with her ethereal and extraordinary beauty, displayed a look of surprise.

She hadn’t expected that Pang Jian, a Realm God from Purgatory who was recently obliterated by the fearsome Old Ape without a trace, would still be able to distress Fa Jie.

Bai Zi was greatly puzzled, so she covertly employed a Divine Secret Technique to try and sense any trace of Pang Jian’s Soul.

"Nothing, there are no Soul Imprints of him in this realm. Strange, he’s clearly not here—why would Fa Jie be hurt?"

The more she probed, the more bewildered Bai Zi became, starting to suspect whether Fa Jie was feigning injury.

...

Above the Mysterious Fog.

"He Motian, you must give me an explanation," demanded Zimo, a High God from the Ghost Clan, as He arrived at the star where He Motian habitually resided.

Gazing at the towering demon-like form of He Motian, His tone was grave, "Mou Qi won’t let this rest, and I’ve heard news that a High God from the Spirit Race is actually on their way here."

"He Motian, this matter is very odd. Those High Gods from the Spirit Race should not be so easily summoned in theory."

"I suspect that the arrival of the High Gods from the Spirit Race is not solely due to Mou Qi’s personal affairs, there might be a possibility..."

Zimo suddenly fell silent.

He noticed that the many Demon Souls within He Motian were stirring very abnormally.

He had a fairly good understanding of He Motian.

He knew that only when He Motian’s Divine Consciousness was invading another powerful individual would the tides in His Sea of Souls surge so violently.

Who might it be?

Who warranted He Motian’s serious attention, gathering His dispersed powers from across various realms to specifically target a single individual?

Moments later.

"Crackle!"

Hundreds of gold, white, black, blue, and crimson bolts of lightning suddenly sprang forth from the nostrils, ears, mouths, and eyes of He Motian’s three heads.

He Motian roared in agony, clasping His multiple arms around His head, employing His Demonic Energy to heal the injuries in His brain.

"Pang Jian!"

"Pang Jian has seized the Demonic Robe in Purgatory! He’s utilizing the robes of Lord Demon Sky to launch ruthless attacks on all demon gods!"

"Dammit! He’s disrupted our grand scheme. I, I..."

All three of He Motian’s mouths cursed.

...

In a corner of the Demon Realm’s "Realm" marked territory.

The thin and small Qi Ya, a Middle-level God from the Di Mo clan, still lived in the dark and damp Demon Palace beneath the surface, basking in the devoted service of beautiful women from various clans.

Qi Ya was an ancient Demon God who nearly forgot how long He had lived, seeing no opportunity to ascend to a High God, He had long since discarded that aspiration.

Now, Qi Ya only wanted to indulge in the pleasures of the world—women, wine, food, and the flattering praise of His followers.

These were everything to Him.

When He sensed that His true name had suddenly emerged in Purgatory, and felt the robes of the Mo Tian Overlord, all He wished for was to erase His true name and continue living freely.

Time had long eroded His ambitions.

"Just a greenhorn," He muttered to Himself, dismissing His attendants and ordering everyone to leave as He gathered His power around His own true name.

"You’re courting death."

A strange voice suddenly thundered in His mind.

Immediately after, Thunderous Lightning followed the resonance between His true name and Demon Body, blasting open a path and exploding within His Demon Body and Sea of Souls.

In an instant, Qi Ya was charred black, with lightning randomly streaking across His Demon Body surface, leaving Him utterly confounded.

He did not understand the newcomer’s background, nor could He grasp the intruder’s intentions. Yet the other party wielded terrifyinìg Thunderous Lightning and could have snuffed out His life in a blink.
