Chapter 668: Chapter 630: Stranded in the 5th Realm_2
"Haven’t you noticed that this kid isn’t worried about his safety at all?" Pu Zhaotian shook his head with a smile and said, "We don’t know how he got there, and perhaps the strongest of the Alien Tribes in the Fifth Realm don’t know either. In the Heavenly Tribulation Pillar’s Bagua City, he’s as at ease as if he were at home. Where’s the sign of any real panic or fear?"
"With his appearance, and the emergence of Bagua City and the Heavenly Tribulation Pillar having become a beacon for the Ghost Mother’s senses, all we need to do is sit back and watch quietly."
"There is no need for concern, just let us see if my young disciple will encounter the Ghost Mother and what follows."
Pu Zhaotian was soothing everyone’s nerves.
...
Bagua City.
Pang Jian was completely unaware that all the attention of the True Gods was focused on him.
He strolled leisurely through the familiar lanes of Bagua City and retraced his steps from the City Lord Mansion’s street back through the estate and out of the city.
Soon, he found himself outside the City Lord Mansion, at the edge of the Heavenly Tribulation Pillar.
At this moment, his body surged with Filth Alien Power.
His muscles, flesh, and core were all permeated with the same impure essence that blended with the nature around him.
The Fragment Land, formed from nature’s spiritual energy, contained all the spiritual energy inside his body, not leaking even a trace.
Appearing in this state, with only a slight alteration in appearance, he could walk among the various continents of the Fifth Realm without being easily recognized.
"The Yao Clan and Flame Clan’s appearances are most similar to the Human Race; the only differences are in their hair, skin color, and pupils."
He pondered, then used the "Great Creation Sacred Body" to adjust his skeleton and skin tone, dispersing the radiance from the sun within his chest and merging it with the impure powers in his muscles and blood.
His hair, eyebrows, and the natural sun patterns that emerged prominently on his body made him the spitting image of a Yao Clan warrior.
Once his aura changed, he summoned the fierce energy from the Flame Pool and mixed the dry heat of the Filth Alien Power within his body, forming fire patterns that held the essence of flames within his flesh and transforming into a young Flame Clan warrior.
Despite lacking the corresponding bloodlines, his outward characteristics and the aura emanating from his body were consistent with those of the Yao Clan and Flame Clan.
Those who couldn’t probe his bloodline or peer into his soul to verify his identity, even when standing face-to-face with him, might not be able to discern his true race.
Assuming the body of either the Yao Clan or Flame Clan, he felt there would be no problem moving around the seven continents of the Fifth Realm after leaving Bagua City.
"It wouldn’t hurt to go down for a look."
He levitated and glided along the Heavenly Tribulation Pillar from the dense Filth Alien Power of Bagua City.
The pillar, which once dazzled with verdant divine brilliance during powerful clashes with the Alien Tribes in the past, showed the sun, moon, and stars, and glittered with all kinds of marvels, was now nothing more than a gigantic stone column.
The magic was no longer present.
The beginning of the anomaly in the Fifth Realm started with this very Heavenly Tribulation Pillar, which malfunctioned first because someone had taken away the Universe Box.
Consequently, it triggered a series of chain reactions.
"If one were to investigate, I fear I’d also be unable to escape blame," he murmured.
As he landed at the base of the Heavenly Tribulation Pillar amongst a multitude of gray and white skeletons, Pang Jian looked up at the towering pillar that seemed to pierce the sky and softly said, "At one time, I was an accomplice in the Alien Tribes’ ascent to the heavens."
These reflections were unbeknownst to the True Gods of the First Realm.
When Pang Jian flew out from the Heavenly Tribulation Pillar, no longer on the column itself, he, Bagua City, and the pillar itself all vanished from the True Gods’ watchful eyes.
They also disappeared from the Ghost Mother’s senses.
The Ghost Mother, who had already found her direction and target, suddenly stopped in the hazy, indistinct void and spread out her Divine Sense in bewilderment.
Meanwhile, Pu Zhaotian and the others saw only that the image of the Heavenly Tribulation Pillar and Pang Jian suddenly vanished into thin air.
...
The Fifth Realm of Purgatory, Fifth Continent.
In that vast, desolate wasteland strewn with skeletons, the ambiance of desolation, silence, sorrow, and despair lingered near the Heavenly Tribulation Pillar, as if it could never be completely dispelled.
Over thousands of years, countless supreme warriors from the Alien Tribes tried to break through the seal of the Heavenly Tribulation Pillar and ascend to the heavens.
But without exception, they all met their end here.
Their corpses, falling from high above, became the shattered bones that were everywhere to be seen.
Standing in this wilderness, Pang Jian felt the Filth Alien Power he absorbed into his core was tinged with the unwilling spirits of the Alien Tribes’ strongest.
Within his core, the ever-growing boulder deep inside was speckled with impurities that seemed to contain the essence of this region’s spirit.
The Filth Alien Power in specific regions contained different kinds of Alien Powers, and here, in the vicinity of the Heavenly Tribulation Pillar, it comprised many spirit-bending forces.
After lingering for a while, he stepped out of the vast wilderness.
It didn’t take long for him to enter the mountains where the Cyclops Aman had originally hidden.
Once, many fierce beasts roamed this place, and there were vicious, man-eating plants.
But now, ferocious beasts were rare, and those terrifying plants with hidden lethality behaved quite docilely when Pang Jian, in the guise of a Yao Clan warrior, was around.
Pang Jian, with red hair draped over his shoulders and muscles rippling across his exposed skin, emblazoned with Fierce Sun light patterns and a deliberate sun mark on his forehead, exuded a wild and overwhelming aura.
Ferocious beasts and terrifying, man-devouring Spirit Plants kept a respectful distance from him.
Pang Jian chuckled to himself, reminiscing about his first instant transference to the place via Hei, where everything felt intimidating.
"Huff! Huff-huff!"
His pores and dantian naturally entangled with the Filth Alien Power.
He discerned silently and soon found that the Filth Alien Power in this region contained ample earthy essences, occupying a large proportion.
It might be due to the Ancestor of Ten Thousand Mountains, Aman, living here that caused the energy in this area to change.
Feeling the distribution of the earthy essences, he found the most concentrated place—the Sky-Splitting City.
Soon, he arrived alone outside the grand and magnificent city walls.
He sensed silently in the shadows, discovering that the number of Cyclopses left in Sky-Splitting City was minimal.
And, they were almost all either the elderly and children or warriors with extremely weak bloodlines.
As Alien Tribes initiated the ascent to heaven, all ethnic groups from the seven continents responded in kind, and the powerful Cyclopses were also sent to the Upper Realm in batches.
The Cyclopses belonged to the Upper Realm, with their ancestral land being in the Third Realm, and a large number of them were eager to return.
This ascent campaign, backed by a Sovereign descending from beyond the heavens, made the Cyclopses believe in their assured victory, thus adopting the stance of migrating their tribes.
Inside the Sky-Splitting City, many heavy weapons and valuable items were taken to the Upper Realm.
The elderly and children left behind are the contingency plan for the continuation of the tribe’s bloodline should this ascent battle also end in failure and all the returned Cyclopses perish.
At least, there are still children in Sky-Splitting City to bring about a future resurgence of the Cyclopses.
In a corner outside the city, Pang Jian, disguised as a Yao Clan warrior, deliberately concealed his traces for a while before quietly leaving.
Since all the stronger beings had ascended, no Cyclops noticed him.
After a while, he reached the territory where the Wood Tribe people once lived.
There, man-eating giant trees could also reach up to several dozen zhang high, and the shrubs and flowers were bloodthirsty and terrifying.
In the forest that obscured the sky, ancient trees were covered with treehouses.
Although the environment here was similar to Cloud Marsh and filled with Filth Alien Power intermingled with exceptional Plant Spirit Energy, it still paled in comparison to Cloud Marsh.
More importantly, there was not a single "World Tree" that could nurture the Wood Tribe, transform their bloodline, or heal severely injured members of the Wood Tribe.
"The Wood Tribe has completed the migration, not leaving a single tribesperson behind."
Pang Jian was secretly amazed.
In this territory of the Wood Tribe that Yu Xin had visited and met with the Mu Yuan, he didn’t see a single member of the Wood Tribe.
Including the sick and disabled.
"The Wood Tribe takes the World Tree as their foundation. Wherever it takes root, that place becomes the home of the Wood Tribe."
Pang Jian came to an understanding.
Suddenly, he noticed that the grey-black crystal above the darkness in his dantian was rapidly expanding.
"Eh!"
He acutely sensed that his absorption of the Filth Alien Power from different regions of the Fifth Continent enabled the crystal to expand rapidly.
Therefore, he deliberately traveled through different realms afterward, visiting the lands of the Ghost Clan and the areas frequented by the Devil Scale Tribe.
Indeed, as the Filth Alien Power continued to pour in, the grey-black colored crystal gradually grew into a small Fragment Land.
Just like the crystallized Fragment Land that condensed nature’s spiritual energy, above the Darkness and below the Demon Sea, another Fragment Land had formed.
