Chapter 661: Chapter 625: Exploring the Mysteries of Ontology_1

Below the dark prison’s dome.

Pang Jian’s True Body was hidden within the Mysterious Fog, skirting the Boundary Wall. Using his True Body as a reference, he ensured his Primordial Spirit would not get lost in the fog.

Perceiving his True Body, his Primordial Spirit soared upwards. When it leveled with the actual body, he could catch a glimpse of the Outer Star River.

Then, he would be able to see the secluded stars spoken of by Ying Yue and Han Yi.

As the Primordial Spirit, sword in hand, whistled through the Mysterious Fog, he sat quietly at the "Heart of Winter," organizing the Rules of Extreme Cold he had perceived.

By his side, Han Yi, in the form of a Puppet Avatar, accompanied him with a tranquil expression.

Most of the time, the two were silent.

The Human Race within Purgatory were at odds with those Alien Tribes, and ultimately, a victor had to emerge.

Han Yi, hailing from the ranks of the Outer Realm, ventured to this desolate Star River also with the intent to join forces with the gods and claim a share of Purgatory.

For various reasons, though Pang Jian had formed some connections with him, deep down he still couldn’t fully accept him.

Faced with Han Yi’s overtures, Pang Jian often chose to respond with indifference.

He focused his attention on himself.

In his Dantian, a piece of Fragment Land floated quietly, with a dark blue Demon Sea underneath.

Below the Demon Sea was a layer of black clouds, representing the ultimate Darkness.

Above the Fragment Land shone a glittering Star River, with the sun, moon, and stars twinkling.

Gold Mountain, Flame Pool, Ice Pool, rivers, Thunder Vortices, black-yellow hillocks, and deep valleys rich with plants’ aura—each was reflected in different directions of the Fragment Land.

Mountains and rivers, Fire Thunder, Cold Ice, Metal, and grassland—elemental foundations that a piece of Fragment Land should have—all were enclosed within.

He gradually discovered that his Dantian was becoming more and more like a world denoted by the character "prison."

The Fragment Land floated in the void, with the Star River above and Darkness below.

His True Body and the Immortal Primordial Spirit obviously had significant differences.

Inside the Immortal Primordial Spirit, Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, Earth combined with the five viscera. Darkness was like another heart, while ice and thunder Dao Marks were branded onto the Divine Bones.

Stars and moon were like orifices.

The Primordial Spirit, unlike the True Body, did not unify the various "Dao Marks" within the Dantian to form a true "prison" world.

"The forces of the Five Elements, all unified on the Fragment Land, clearly delineated. It feels as if they can be separated," Pang Jian thought and attempted to control with his mind, moving those wonders resting on the Fragment Land.

The mountains branded with metallic sharp spells were the first to be moved by him, set to float independently in the void of the Dantian.

Then, the Flame Pool, Ice Pool, Thunder Vortex, the black-yellow hillock, rivers were also drawn apart.

The piece of Fragment Land formed purely from crystallized Spiritual Power became an isolated piece of land.

The corresponding objects of Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, Earth, as well as the Thunder Vortex, Ice Pool, floating in the void of the Dantian Fragment Land, suddenly surged with an intense craving for power.

Gold Mountain longed for the force of metallic sharpness, the plants sought the Plant Spirit Energy; the other wonders did the same.

"Swoosh!"

The Divine Artifact "Heart of Winter" entered the Dantian and descended into the Ice Pool, its contained Extreme Cold Power diffusing.

The Ice Pool drew on the "Divine Artifact’s" Cold Power, transforming within his Dantian void into a crystal clear and distinctive land.

It resembled the Frozen Land inhabited by the Ice Tribe, with its clear veins symbolizing the Ultimate Cold Truths that Pang Jian had comprehended.

"Something strange has just occurred within you. I am versed in the power of cold ice, and I feel..." Han Yi suddenly had a reaction and pondered before saying, "I feel that your affinity with the Extreme Cold Power has suddenly greatly increased."

Pang Jian, originally a reference point for his Primordial Spirit within the Mysterious Fog, quietly flew out of the mist.

In the Dark Prison where only stars were visible and the sun and moon never seen, the energy swirling in the heavens and the earth was far less complete than in Purgatory.

He silently felt and perceived the presence of power from cold, water, stars, and even plants, filling the entire world of the Dark Prison.

He circulated his spells through his dantian, drawing primarily on the Alien Power of water, as well as the Plant Spirit Energy.

In his dantian, the separate water marsh area outside of the Fragment Land began to be shrouded in mists, accumulating more water.

The Water God Naga had once emerged from the water domain presented by the Mysterious Fog; because he continually drew upon the power of water, it slowly formed and gradually expanded.

"Huff!"

A piece of black and yellow land, symbolizing the mystique of the earth, proactively came forth to take over this water domain.

Then, this piece of land went on to support a deep valley, before catching that glacially gleaming area.

After leaving the Fragment Land of the Spiritual Power Crystal, those symbolizing different powers, such as the Flame Pool, Ice Pool, Thunder Vortex, Gold Mountain, water domain, and secluded valley, were successively received by the great earth again.

Soon, there were two pieces of Fragment Land within his dantian.

One piece of Fragment Land was made of Spiritual Power Crystals, while the other was a mix of the five elements of nature and Extreme Cold Power and Thunder and Lightning.

The two pieces of Fragment Land were not yet floating side by side.

The one mixed with various energies proactively sank down, resting above the Demon Yuan Power Deep Sea.

The Fragment Land of Spiritual Power Crystals, however, floated upwards, closer to the Star River.

Thus, his dantian started to resemble Purgatory even more.

In Purgatory, the upper world surged with Spiritual Energy, and certainly, among some Spiritual lands and Fragment Lands, there were powers with singular attributes.

In the lower world, however, it was filled with Filth Alien Power, a type of energy distinct from nature’s spiritual energy, volatile and chaotic and containing various poisons and impurities.

Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, Earth, Thunder and Lightning, Cold Ice – these attribute-laden forces all exist both in the Upper and Lower Realms.

The upper world is covered by nature’s spiritual energy that wraps all the lands containing these inherent powers.

The lower world is the same; Filth Alien Power infuses all the voids and lands, enveloping regions that have inherent attributes as well.

At this moment the anomaly within his dantian led him to ponder deeply on the special environment of Purgatory and the wondrous things derived from it—Fate.

The Fate that allowed Human True Gods to achieve Divine Enthronement, the sum of Purgatory’s nature’s spiritual energy, the number of Human Cultivators and creatures, including the strength of the Cultivators, were all intrinsically linked.

The maximum number of level-ten powerhouses among the Alien Tribes of the Fifth Realm seemingly also hinged on the Filth Alien Power.

The Demon Race, naturally adapting to both Filth Alien Power and nature’s spiritual energy, thus has Demon God titles that emerge through these two forces.

And now, the reason why there are so few Demon Gods could be because there are fewer Demon Kings of the ninth level, Great Demons of the eighth level, and the overall number of the Demon Race is scanty.

After all, the only land suitable for the Demon Race to live and thrive on is the Saint Spirit Continent.

Previously, the Heavenly Tribulation Pillar still repressed the Demon Race’s Bloodline, and the Alien Tribes of the Fifth Realm along with the Human Race from the Upper Realm were habitually hunting the Demon Race to amplify their own power.

Under these conditions, it led to the strongest of the Demon Race being on the Saint Spirit Continent, with few Demon Kings and Great Demons surviving in the outside world.

This seems to be the reason limiting the number of seats for the Demon Race to increase.

With the Heavenly Tribulation Pillar no longer suppressing the Demon Race’s Bloodline and the emergence of the Demon Spirit Continent, the number of ninth-level Demon Kings and eighth-level Great Demons will rapidly increase in the future.

Subsequently, there should be more Demon God titles emerging.

Pang Jian scrutinized the scene within his dantian, thinking about the situation of two forces in Purgatory and discovered that the Fragment Land imbued with the mysteries of the seven Great Tao slowed in transformation due to the incomplete energy of the Dark Prison.

At that moment, an idea suddenly struck his heart, and he decided to return to Purgatory with his True Body to seek more profound secrets about himself.
