Chapter 601: Chapter 569 The Power of a Middle-level God_1

He was extremely concerned about the individual’s relationship with Pang Jian.

He still remembered that when he was still in the Prayer Spirit Forbidden Land, that individual had, because of Pang Jian’s plea, turned a blind eye to a girl named Li Yuqing.

In the Absolute Sky Forbidden Land, that individual pardoned Pang Jian for the second time, along with the friend by Pang Jian’s side.

As a middle-level god, Yang Luo, after coming into contact with that individual in the Prayer Spirit Forbidden Land, had offered his loyalty, willingly serving Him diligently.

For a middle-level god to be favored by a Sovereign was his utmost honor.

The Sovereign, with an exalted status in the Outer Star River, shouldn’t have any involvement with human youngsters. When that great one’s divinity was gradually becoming perfect, killing off some potential dangers in advance was also within his duties.

Pang Jian, since he could potentially affect that individual’s mood, ought to die sooner rather than later.

Moreover, his painstakingly reforged puppet body had been lured to a Fragment Land by that youngster and shattered with the help of a Mysterious Turtle.

New grudges joined old ones, and this trip was the perfect opportunity to settle them all.

Yang Luo pondered silently.

"Before He awoke, I traveled with Him for a while, that’s all."

Pang Jian answered with a heavy heart.

Yang Luo nodded and said, "After the Sovereign drew upon and fused a seat of godhood in the Hongdu Fragment Land and forged the God of Death Road, He no longer remembers you."

"However, just to be safe, I still need to eliminate you as soon as possible."

"A god of the Human Race who can step out of purgatory without relying on Heaven Forbidden is indeed a bit of a threat."

Yang Luo’s divine power, in sync with his words, extended outward silently.

The vacuum’s coverage area spread outwards even faster.

Pang Jian knew something was wrong.

His Immortal Primordial Spirit swiftly grew stronger, becoming as towering as Yang Luo. He thought that this might weaken the deterrence from Yang Luo a bit.

He quickly realized he was wrong, and terribly so.

The weakness of those low-rank gods, the bodies of Han Yi and Ying Yue from the Dark Spirit and Shadow Clans, as well as his previous experience of slaying Yang Luo’s puppet body, had made him believe that Yang Luo wasn’t so difficult to deal with.

It was only when Yang Luo expelled the Mysterious Fog to form a vacuum zone with his terrifying infiltrating divine power that he understood just how powerful the real Yang Luo was.

Yang Luo, with a seductively beautiful female face, had long silver-white hair and indifferent eyes.

Wherever His gaze fell, the terrifying infiltrating force cleared the Mysterious Fog.

The divine power released from His spider body possessed a potent corroding and infiltrating force that made Pang Jian’s Immortal Primordial Spirit extremely uncomfortable.

In just a moment, in the endless Misty Sea, around the Alien God Yang Luo, a vast vacuum otherworld had formed.

This vacuum zone was actually very small compared to the vast expanse of the Mysterious Fog.

But the fact that Yang Luo could create such a vacuum otherworld out of nowhere in the most mysterious Mysterious Fog of the Star River showed His strength.

And in this vacuum, Pang Jian and his True Body in the Dark Prison instantly lost their connection and could no longer detect the "Purgatory Gate."

This also meant that opening a spatial rift to return to the Dark Prison had become unrealistic.

"I must re-enter the Mysterious Fog!"

Pang Jian decisively retreated on his sword.

The Mysterious Fog, which struck fear into the hearts of mortals and made gods wary, gave his Immortal Primordial Spirit a feeling of "home."

Only in the Mysterious Fog could he hope to tear a spatial rift and instantly return to the Dark Prison World.

"I didn’t allow you to leave."

Yang Luo pursed his lips slightly, speaking coldly, "Show the courage you had on that Fragment Land when you shattered my puppet body. After ascending to become a god of the Human Race, you are tens of millions times stronger than you were then. You should try to kill me again."

"The me before you now is the real me. If you kill me here, I will truly fall."

"The puppet body in Purgatory, even if you kill it a thousand times or ten thousand, won’t affect the real me."

Yang Luo’s snow-white spider legs gently stirred as if pulling something strange back toward Himself.

"Whoosh! Whoosh, whoosh!"

In the vacuum, suddenly cascades of silvery-white spider webs appeared, teeming with countless silky threads.

Pang Jian’s towering divine body, limbs, waist, neck, immediately became shrouded by layers of webs, with millions of slender threads sticking to him.

The spider webs and threads were all connected to the spider-legs of the Alien God Yang Luo, gently pulled by Him.

A tremendous divine power thundered forth!

Pang Jian gathered numerous alien powers within his body; his Immortal Primordial Spirit radiated rainbow hues aiming to infiltrate and break apart all silvery-white spider webs.

"Sizzling!"

Flames, starlight, and ice brilliance emitted from his body surface, clashing with the spider webs woven by Yang Luo.

While his arms were restrained, he controlled the Origin Demon Sword with his divine consciousness, unleashing thousands of dazzling beams to slash and tear at the threads.

The spider webs ruptured then re-adhered, threads broke then reconnected, over and over, without end.

Yet Yang Luo’s corrosive divine power continued to eat away at the alien power within his sword light, eroding the divine thoughts he had imprinted therein.

"Low-rank gods like the Water God Naga and the Dark Bat can’t withstand even one of my spider webs. Slaying such weak low-rank gods is truly nothing remarkable," Yang Luo shook his head and sneered coldly.

He focused his divine power into his eyes, his gaze fixing on the chest area of Pang Jian’s Immortal Primordial Spirit.

"Sizzle!"

Where He looked, Pang Jian’s skin, neither crystalline nor jade-like, began to dissolve, and a colossal cavity rapidly formed.

Once activated, Yang Luo’s "Corrosion Divine Eye" allowed His divine power to gradually erode everything within His vision—sky, earth, stars, sun, and moon.

Under the watch of His "Corrosion Divine Eye," countless low-rank gods and many middle-level gods like Him have had their divine powers and spiritual souls eroded, leaving only their Divine Bones to exist in the world.

Pang Jian seemed to be no exception.

"When I was born, the first thing I saw was a shattered heaven and earth."

"As I gazed upon that fragmented world, the ground gradually tore apart, rivers dried up one after another, and mountains and hills turned to nothingness. All living beings, eroded and corrupted by my power, each one walked towards death."

"Only those who could sense me, who knew of my existence, and who worshiped me as a god could be forgiven."

The divine voice of Yang Luo echoed in the vacuum nothingness.

Where His gaze lingered, Pang Jian’s skin was being eroded, gradually revealing his highly distinctive internal organs.

Under these circumstances, as Pang Jian’s limbs were bound by the spider web and he was still being tugged by the threads, he inevitably drew closer to Yang Luo.

By the time he stopped, the skin on his chest was gone, leaving his chest cavity completely exposed to Yang Luo’s eyes.

Yang Luo retracted the divine power in His eyes.

"Using the fundamentals of heaven and earth to create organs with the Five Elements Divine Skills, what a grand idea, what a tremendous achievement," He marveled, narrowing His eyes for a closer examination.

"Looking at your body is like beholding a complete and unique world, absolutely breathtaking. After fusing with godhood, do all True Gods of the Purgatory Human Tribe become like this?" Yang Luo grew more astonished as he looked on.

Hundreds of threads, as He spoke, wrapped around the hilt of the buzzing Origin Demon Sword, rendering the sword unable to move as well.

"Pang Jian, this is the true power of a middle-level god. In Purgatory, those puppet bodies you’ve slain possessed not one ten-thousandth of Their true bodies’ power," Source Demon’s voice whispered within the Demon Pearl.

ps: Just one Chapter for today, I’ve been on medication for twenty days to treat Helicobacter pylori, without touching alcohol.

Last night, I had half a catty of white liquor and several bottles of beer, and I went down for the count.

Well, I’ve been lying down all morning and didn’t recover until the afternoon, how embarrassing, sorry about that~
