"Madam, could the young mistress have thought of a solution?" Upon returning to her room, Madame You’s maid immediately approached her with a smile and asked softly.

"What solution? All I did was console her a little and tell her to ease her mind and to not be jealous. What solution could you be talking about? People can only find peace in themselves, with the help of external persuasion." Madame You was somewhat clever and even with her close aides, she would not expose her cards so blatantly.

The maid responded by gently slapping her own mouth, "Look at the nonsensical things I am saying. I meant to ask whether the young mistress has come to terms with her issues and stopped moping."

"She’s grown up now, and she’s been studying etiquette and female precepts constantly. Such basics should not warrant your unnecessary worries." Madame You, unoffended, chuckled and accepted the medicinal tea offered by the maid.

"Yes, we understand." The soldiers promised once more.

Once the four soldiers had departed, Li Yanran collapsed onto her bed, letting out a sigh of relief. Her mother, Madame Mu, had pleaded with the Mu Family of the Capital City to train these soldiers for her, fearing her safety once she became the Prince’s consort.

"Take your time, we’ll stop here for today. I need to check the fields, the seedlings have grown. Judging by the weather, it seems like it might rain. If the temperature drops at night, we need to light the fires in the greenhouses." Lin Ziyin replied with a smile.

"Mis, why don’t you talk a bit more? The temperature hasn’t dropped yet, a little while longer wouldn’t hurt." Situ Gong persuades with a smile.

"I’m sorry, Mister Situ. You are a strategist with the entire Northern Land on your mind for the Prince, while I’m just a peasant girl, whose greenhouses are her treasures." Lin Ziyin cheerily responded, then unceremoniously stood up.
