Chapter 894: Chapter 608 Are You My Maternal Grandmother?_3
Feng Wuyou squinted her eyes, sleepy and struggling to open them, "In the dead of night, let’s talk tomorrow."
Xiao Jinyan’s head lowered a bit more, and he kissed her lips a few more times, "Xiaojiu, don’t you miss me?"
Tonight, it was rare that Susu hadn’t come, and to not take advantage of such a fine night would be a waste.
Outside the house, the moon hung on the treetops.
"Miss, I miss you every day," she thought to herself, but wondered, how could she miss him so much when they saw each other every day, slept together every night?
"Xiaojiu." Xiao Jinyan lowered his head and kissed her, not with brief pecks this time, but with a deep kiss, his hands busy as well.
Once Feng Wuyou was awakened, she looked at the man in front of her, distinguished in abstinence, and didn’t know if it was his hands that beguiled her, or that peerlessly beautiful face, but she capitulated.
Feng Wuyou didn’t know when she had fallen asleep; she only knew that before she drifted off, she had seen him persevering tirelessly.
The next day, Jun Wuxian took some time to visit the palace to see Taotao and Susu.
Busy with wedding preparations, Jun Moqing had bought a residence in the Capital for the marriage and then busied himself with procuring items.
When Jun Wuxian saw Taotao and Susu, he noticed they had grown a lot since last time, with Susu’s face a little rounder than Taotao’s.
Feng Wuyou didn’t see Xun Qingqing and asked curiously, "Big brother, why didn’t you bring Qingqing to the palace with you?"
Jun Wuxian smiled, "She’s been tied up with some matters these past few days; I’ll bring her next time we visit the palace."
Feng Wuyou nodded and called out to Taotao and Susu, "Babies, come here, call me Big Uncle."
Taotao and Susu loved their new pet, a lion-tiger beast, and both wanted to climb onto its back, but unfortunately, their legs were too short to make it.
At the call of their mother, the two little ones immediately ran over with smiles.
"Mommy, mommy..."
Feng Wuyou pointed to Jun Wuxian and introduced him, "Babies, this here is your uncle."
Taotao and Susu both turned their eyes towards Jun Wuxian, their eyebrows arched, and in unison said, "Uncle."
Jun Wuxian crouched before them, eyeing the two little ones who looked identical,
"You’ve grown quite a bit; last time I saw you on the street, you were only this tall."
He gestured to show their height.
Taotao and Susu realized it had been three months since they had last seen Jun Moqing, and having only seen him once, they didn’t remember him.
Jun Wuxian played with Taotao and Susu for a while, then lifted his head to look at his sister, "Where’s father?"
Feng Wuyou replied, "He went out early in the morning, said he was off to meet someone."
Jun Wuxian was a bit puzzled, "Does father have acquaintances here?"
"I’m not sure, but I heard that the person father is looking for looks a lot like me." Feng Wuyou, who had woken up late, hadn’t seen her father and had found out some details through Susu.
A hint of curiosity appeared in Jun Wuxian’s eyes.

Feng Wuyou, having nothing to do, decided to pay a visit to Xiyun Pavilion.
Upon leaving the East Palace, she saw Ye Suhuan, not knowing where he had run off to these last couple of days.
"Third brother."
Ye Suhuan came over, "Where are you planning to go?"
Feng Wuyou replied, "To have a look at Xiyun Pavilion."
Ye Suhuan said, "I happen to be free, so let me accompany you."
Feng Wuyou nodded, "Alright."
As they walked, Feng Wuyou asked, "Where have you been these past two days?"
Ye Suhuan paused upon hearing the question, answering somewhat dismissively, "Went out for a bit."
As Feng Wuyou saw the familiar gates, she reminded, "We’re here."
Ye Suhuan glanced at the gate and asked, "Are you here to visit a friend? This place looks quite dilapidated; is it because they’ve fallen out of favor?"
Feng Wuyou chuckled and shook her head, "No, this is where I used to live."
Ye Suhuan’s eyes widened, "You used to live in this place?"
"When I first arrived here, I was under house arrest as punishment; let’s go in and take a look first," Feng Wuyou said as she entered.
Ye Suhuan followed her in, still puzzled.
As soon as they entered, Little Guizi greeted them with a smile, "Does Master have any orders?"
Feng Wuyou said, "Catch an old hen to stew in soup. One doesn’t seem enough; catch two."
"I’ll catch them right away," Little Guizi said cheerfully as he headed toward the henhouse.
Feng Wuyou turned to Ye Suhuan, "I’ll take you to see my henhouse."
Ye Suhuan, having heard the mention of an old hen, was stunned for quite some time...
"Okay."
The henhouse wasn’t far, and they arrived after a short walk.
When Ye Suhuan saw a flock of chickens and ducks in the henhouse, he was astonished for quite a while.
"You’re raising chickens and ducks in the palace?"
Feng Wuyou boasted with a sense of accomplishment, "Yes, and I have a vegetable garden, too."
Ye Suhuan: "..."
Afterward, Feng Wuyou took Ye Suhuan to see her little vegetable garden; despite her absence, Little Guizi and the others had managed it very neatly.
Little bokchoy, lettuce, carrots... all lush and green, clearly well-cared for.
Ye Suhuan was utterly astounded.
Feng Wuyou, carrying two hens, returned to Hehuan Hall, and Ye Suhuan was still somewhat in disbelief.
Hungry from playing, Susu and the great white tiger weren’t at mealtime yet. As Susu walked back with her little short legs, upon seeing a black shadow, she instinctively called out, "You, come down."
Feng Qingyan, who just happened to be passing by the East Palace, was called out to and looked down to find it was the same little girl from last time.
