Chapter 571: Chapter 407: Cross-Boundary Communication_2

The energy field brought by this thing is far stronger than that of Sword Coins.

Li Yi formed a Dharma Seal with his hands, sat with his eyes closed, and performed the White Bone Temple Cultivation Skill.

A surge of abundant energy rushed toward his body, making him feel as though he was evolving rapidly; even the Divine Bloodline within him was nourished and began to strengthen.

"After opening the tenth acupoint, my body’s potential has visibly increased, and my demand for Cosmic Energy has grown greater. However, the growth rate of my soul remains slower; it requires time to transform. What a pity there’s no dedicated method for Soul Realm cultivation; otherwise, I wouldn’t be stuck here. It seems I need to focus my efforts on opening more acupoints."

After a full night of cultivation, Li Yi’s strength had not noticeably advanced. After all, once reaching the Soul Realm, breakthroughs slow significantly, requiring time to gradually settle.

It’s uncertain how much longer the Golden Academy can maintain a stable environment for cultivation.

In the morning, Li Yi’s stomach rumbled with hunger.

His current needs could no longer be satisfied with nutrient liquids; he had to eat Extraordinary Creatures. Luckily, he had reserved some meat beforehand, which he heated beside the Cultivation House and devoured in big chunks.

This was the meat of a Spirit Power Realm-level Extraordinary Creature.

The flesh contained a rich amount of Essence of Qi and Blood and Cosmic Energy. Eating such meat was akin to consuming Great Medicine—a nourishing treasure.

However, while Li Yi was eating breakfast, he noticed cultivators emerging one after another from nearby Cultivation Houses. After stepping outside, they all hurried in the same direction, as though something significant had happened.

"Di Zhu’an, what’s the matter?" Seeing a familiar face coming out of a nearby house, Li Yi immediately asked.

Di Zhu’an replied, "Li Yi, you still have the leisure to eat roasted meat? Just now, a group of cultivators claiming to be from the Xuanxian Continent arrived at the Golden Academy. They want to spar and exchange techniques with our academy’s experts. Many people have gone to watch the excitement. Do you want to come along?"

"Xuanxian Continent?" Li Yi’s eyelid twitched upon hearing the name.

This time’s Sky Tipping incident had the Xuanxian Continent as the chief culprit invading Earth. If not for Yang Wei, his hometown of Tianchang City would have been obliterated. Li Yi harbored no goodwill toward that world; they were foes, not allies.

"They’re clearly here with ill intentions. Sparring and exchanging techniques? Why not just obliterate them with firepower and wipe out this group!" Li Yi said bluntly.

"They claim to want sparring exchanges, but they’re actually probing our strength—to assess the power and potential of Earth’s cultivators. At present, the Golden Academy is at a disadvantage; recklessly starting a war could provoke interdimensional conflict, which would be detrimental to the situation. After all, we desperately need time to grow." Di Zhu’an explained. "Let’s go together and familiarize ourselves with the Xuanxian Continent’s cultivators’ strength and combat styles—it would be beneficial to us."

"That makes sense. I’ll join the crowd too."

Li Yi handed the remaining roasted meat to Good Wings nearby and instructed it not to wander, then departed with Di Zhu’an.

As cultivators continued to stream out of the Cultivation Houses in Zone C, the number grew considerably—at least dozens. Each of them was formidable, mostly in the Soul Realm, with a few powerful individuals in the Spirit Power Realm.

Besides Zone C cultivators, there were some from Zones A and B as well.

This was a rare occasion to formally interact with cultivators from another world, so everyone was understandably curious.

"Li Yi."

Amid the crowd, it seemed someone was calling him.

Li Yi turned his head immediately and saw a graceful woman dressed in plain garments, her figure lithe and elegant.

The woman lowered her eyes and tilted her head slightly; her jet-black hair resembled cascading silk, her demeanor akin to a deity descending to the mortal realm, commanding attention.

"What do you want?" he responded casually.

At the same time, he recognized the woman. Although Li Yi didn’t know her name, she looked familiar; she had entered the Golden Academy at the same time as him. Her origins were mysterious, suspecting a connection to the Bone Mural.

Yet the woman said nothing, merely lowered her gaze and swiftly departed, like a phantom.

Li Yi couldn’t make heads or tails of it and decided not to dwell on it.

He followed the crowd all the way forward, soon arriving before a lavishly decorated building.

This was the Golden Hall.

The Golden Academy used it to receive important guests. When major events were held, students would also gather here.

"There really are cultivators crossing dimensions—so these are people from the Xuanxian Continent?" The crowd looked upward at the sight.

A massive ship, as translucent as jade and as intricately carved as a gemstone, floated mid-air. The vessel was enormous, resembling a moving island, radiating brilliant lights and exuding an ethereal aura. Surrounding it were numerous cultivators flying on swords, walking mid-air—an impressive display of strength.

In addition, there were anciently dressed women with fair complexions and stunning beauty who stood by the ship, overlooking the crowd below. Their expressions were indifferent; their eyes carried an air of disdain, as if they were celestial fairies scorning mere mortals.

"Such gorgeous beauties! Their skin is so fair it looks like tofu. Does Immortal Cultivation come with built-in cosmetic effects?" someone remarked with a peculiar sense of focus, paying attention to the female cultivators’ appearance.

"Us Evolvers are the same. After body transformation, flaws get corrected, so we’re also quite attractive." A female Evolver snorted in dissatisfaction.

"But their aura seems better, and their ancient-style attire, partially veiled, is truly captivating." The person continued to comment, then suddenly turned indignant: "But those fairies—what’s with their gaze? Are they looking at monkeys or garbage? Unbelievable! So what if they cultivate immortality? Pretentious, uneducated bunch."

Clearly.

In the eyes of these cultivators, everyone from the Golden Academy was seen as mere natives, making them feel superior.

The cultivators aboard the flying ship were likewise scrutinizing the crowd below.

"It really is a newly awakened world of cultivation. People have reached this level yet still can’t fly. In Xuanxian Continent, even those in the Qi Refining Realm can fly with swords." A woman in a pink dress chuckled softly, shaking her head slightly.

"Their bloodlines are impure; their eyecolors vary like those of foreigners. Their clothing is bizarre: look, some even wear iron and leather armor, resembling mortal soldiers." A man carrying an Immortal Sword observed other aspects.

"Their foundation is shallow, lacking their own lineage, forcing them to imitate and cobble together things, resulting in such a hodgepodge. What is there to fear from such a world? I think we should directly brand them with slave marks and make them serve us." A Daoist holding a horsetail whisk narrowed his eyes and remarked.
