Chapter 864 - 864 863 The Person Without Manners

864: Chapter 863: The Person Without Manners 864: Chapter 863: The Person Without Manners “Kid, don’t worry, I won’t let her practice the Slaughter Devil’s Canon.

I have created a new Cultivation Technique from it, so she won’t fall into the Demon Path of slaughter,” the voice of the God of Slaughter suddenly rang in Wang Dadong’s ears just as the two figures completely vanished.

Sound Transference!

Wang Dadong was capable of short-distance Sound Transference, but the maximum distance he could achieve was no more than twenty meters.

Yet now, the God of Slaughter was probably several kilometers away from him and still managed to perform Sound Transference to him.

Supreme Level, indeed fearsome!

However, after hearing the God of Slaughter’s words, Wang Dadong finally felt relieved.

The Slaughter Devil’s Canon is a Cultivation Technique left by the God of Slaughter Bai Qi, and once one starts practicing it, they must engage in endless slaughter.

If Huang Fei were to cultivate the Slaughter Devil’s Canon and turn into a bloodthirsty killer, this would definitely not be what Wang Dadong wanted to see.

With Huang Fei taken away, Wang Dadong felt an emptiness in his heart.

He aimlessly started walking towards the urban district.

After wandering for more than two hours, Wang Dadong finally entered the urban area, the bustling metropolis once again laid before his eyes.

Although the explosion had caused a brief panic, after the official and various major media outlets covered it up and provided explanations, people gradually came to believe that the explosion was caused by a natural gas leak.

Many found it unbelievable; after all, how powerful can a natural gas explosion be?

The blast they experienced was comparable to a nuclear bomb, with nearly the whole of Jiangdu City feeling the intense shockwave.

The dazzling light was even more blinding than direct sunlight; it was impossible for it to have been a mere gas explosion.

Nevertheless, suspicions aside, under the strong information blockade capabilities of Huaxia Country, in less than half an hour, all information about the huge explosion in the suburbs was scrubbed clean from the internet.

The major media outlets also expressed a unified stance, claiming that the explosion was caused by a natural gas leak.

People thus gradually accepted this fabricated truth.

So, the bustling city returned to its regular track once more.

Unknowingly, Wang Dadong walked into a noodle shop.

It was a small shop with quite good business, and since they were short on staff, customers had to pick up their noodles at the counter themselves.

Wang Dadong went to the window and called for a bowl of noodles.

He wasn’t actually hungry, perhaps just trying to find something to do to fill the emptiness.

But when it rains it pours, even drinking water can get stuck in your teeth.

As Wang Dadong turned around, he was bumped into, the bowl in his hand tilted, and noodles spilled all over the floor.

Usually, Wang Dadong would never let the bowl slip from his grasp, but now he was engulfed in agony over King Fei’s departure, and he was like a lost soul, not even understanding why he was eating noodles.

“I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I didn’t do it on purpose.

Please, what should we do?” To Wang Dadong’s surprise, the person who bumped into him and spilled his noodles was a pretty young girl.

She wore an apron, indicating she was likely one of the shop’s waitresses.

Wang Dadong was still not over the sorrow of King Fei’s departure, and on top of that, it was a pretty girl who had bumped into him, so he didn’t make a fuss and casually said, “Why don’t you compensate me with another bowl.”

The girl, who had been full of apologies, immediately flew into a rage upon hearing this, pointed at Wang Dadong, and yelled, “Pervert!”

Wang Dadong frowned slightly.

You spilled my noodles, I let it slide, asked for a replacement, and you curse at me?

He scoffed coldly, “Girl, don’t think every man is interested in you, because not all men are blind.”

Although the girl was fairly attractive, compared to the women Wang Dadong usually encountered, she was worlds apart.

Wang Dadong’s words were sharp and cutting, inflicting tons of damage on the girl.

Wang Dadong wasn’t normally so sharp-tongued and sarcastic, but today the waitress had hit a nerve; his mood was bad to begin with, and she was the one who bumped his bowl first, so naturally, Wang Dadong didn’t have any pleasant expressions for her.

The waitress glared at Wang Dadong a few times before bursting into tears with a wail.

In fact, Wang Dadong had hoped she would volley a few insults back, to help relieve some of the internal pressure he felt, but she cried instead, and his interest immediately evaporated.

Shaking his head, he ordered another bowl of noodles and started eating at a table.

“Hey, how can you bully someone like that?

I demand you apologize to this girl!” Before Wang Dadong had a few bites, a man with a pointed chin and monkey cheeks pointed at him and began to yell loudly.

Wang Dadong glanced at the man and continued to eat his noodles without a care.

“What kind of quality is this?

You only know how to bully girls, are you still a man?”

“Girl, it’s okay, don’t stoop to the level of such uncultured, classless people!” After scolding Wang Dadong a couple of times, the pointed-chin monkey-cheeked man turned to the girl and said, offering her a napkin.

Feeling sided with, the girl was quite touched, thanked him softly, and gave Wang Dadong a resentful glare, muttering, “Such bad manners!”

Wang Dadong did not care about the girl’s look, still focusing on his noodles.

About halfway through his bowl, several men dressed in street administrator uniforms swaggered into the noodle shop, glanced around, and seeing that there were no free tables, began to bang on the table with their rubber batons.

“Boss, find us a seat!” they demanded unfriendly.

“I’m sorry, could you wait a minute, please?” the waitress said softly to the men who acted like they owned the place.

“Little girl, who do you think you are, making us wait.

Even your boss wouldn’t dare to make us wait.

Hurry up and clear a table for us, or we’ll shut this dump down!” the administrator growled impatiently.

“How about you guys squeeze in at another table, I’ll add a couple of stools for you…” the waitress, with no alternative, said to the patrons at one table.

“We were here first, why should we move?” The patrons at the table weren’t people to be trifled with, and while the waitress might be afraid of the street administrators, they were not.

The waitress reluctantly asked a few other tables but none of the diners were willing to give up their spots.

The waitress, left with no choice, turned to Wang Dadong and through gritted teeth asked, “Could you please give up your table?”

“Why should I move?

I’ve got no manners,” Wang Dadong said, blandly.
