Chapter 844 - 844 843 Close Protection
844: Chapter 843 Close Protection 844: Chapter 843 Close Protection “Who among you is Wang Dadong?” Liv’s beautiful eyes swept over the now stupefied Wang Dadong and King Kong as she spoke indifferently.
“I am!” Wang Dadong, finally regaining his senses, walked over and extended his hand to Liv.
However, Liv did not shake hands with Wang Dadong, continuing in a voice devoid of any emotional fluctuation, “Go get my checked luggage.”
Wang Dadong signaled with his eyes, and King Kong scurried off to fetch the luggage.
“Until the end of the seminar, I’ll be serving as your lifestyle assistant and personal bodyguard,” Wang Dadong declared.
Turning around, Liv gave Wang Dadong a disdainful glance and said, “I don’t need a lifestyle assistant, and certainly not a bodyguard who’s only ever thinking about that.”
Having said this, she left with a sultry swivel of her body.
Wang Dadong’s face reddened; this foreign horse was indeed difficult to handle.
“Miss Liv, from the moment you set foot on Huaxia’s soil, I am obliged to ensure your safety, whether you need it or not,” Wang Dadong spoke calmly, already mentally prepared.
Just then, a man dressed as airport security ran towards Liv from about five meters away, brandishing a shining dagger straight aimed fiercely at Liv’s back!
“Be careful!” Just as Wang Dadong was about to unleash the Little Li Flying Dagger to kill the attacker, Liv moved.
It was as if eyes were on her back; she deftly shifted her body slightly to let the dagger pass through the gap under her armpit.
Then, clasping her arm, she trapped the man’s hand.
With a sudden twist of her body, Liv broke the man’s arm, the dagger clanged to the ground, and then she spun around to punch him squarely in the face.
As the man reeled backward, she delivered a swift kick that brought him to his knees, howling in pain.
The entire sequence flowed smoothly, completed in a mere second or two.
Another person pushing a cart, dressed as security, drew a gun to shoot at Liv.
With a swift kick, Liv sent the fallen dagger flying, stabbing into the gunman’s calf.
The security guard, in pain, looked down at his own leg, and by then, Liv had already sprinted to him.
Leaping up, she smashed her elbow down onto the back of the security guard’s head, knocking him down instantly.
In less than five seconds, Liv had effortlessly dealt with both attackers!
“Oh my God!
Is this chick a scientist or an FBI agent?” Wang Dadong’s eyes nearly popped out.
How fierce could she get?
Even Long Qiuyu might not match up to her.
Only then did Wang Dadong go over to immobilize the limbs of the two attackers who were still barely alive, his face full of contempt as he cursed inwardly, “Damn, this is a disgrace to us Huaxia folks, can’t even handle a foreign horse!”
Liv contemptuously glanced at Wang Dadong, “Know why I didn’t bring bodyguards to Huaxia?
Because I don’t need them; you Huaxia men are really weak!”
“You’ll find out soon enough how weak we are,” Wang Dadong responded without saying much more.
These two airport security guards were just appetizers; she would surely witness the prowess of Huaxia men later.
In the meantime, King Kong returned carrying the luggage, seeing the two guards on the ground, and immediately figured out what happened, giving Wang Dadong a thumbs-up, “You’re impressive, resolved it so quickly.”
Wang Dadong’s face twitched, “It wasn’t me.”
“Then who?
Did the Dragon Group send someone to protect Liv?”
“No one.
She handled it by herself.”
“What?” King Kong’s eyes widened like saucers, stunned by the prowess of the seemingly delicate female scientist.
Fortunately, Wang Dadong didn’t say you probably couldn’t handle her either, otherwise King Kong might have wanted to crawl into a hole.
On the way back to the arranged villa, they encountered no more assassins, presumably because the opponents were reassessing Liv’s capabilities.
Before entering the villa, Liv first inspected the surroundings, then entered the villa.
After assessing her room, Liv spoke like a robot to the men, “There’s a blind spot in the surveillance 35 degrees north of the villa, a tall building is situated 62 degrees northeast, suitable for sniping…
My bedroom is not conducive to escaping, I’ll sleep in the room on the west side tonight.”
Saying this, she headed towards Wang Dadong’s room.
Once again, King Kong was dumbfounded.
He had previously scouted the villa and knew of all its imperfections—it took him all day to find every security gap, but Liv identified it all just by walking around the villa twice.
“She must be mistaken; actually, her room is the best for escaping since it’s closest to the stairs and in a definite blind spot for sniping!” King Kong murmured discontentedly.
He felt extremely frustrated; he was a special forces soldier of Dragon Group, after all!
Wang Dadong, feeling sympathetic, patted King Kong’s shoulder without revealing the true nature of the situation, not wanting to further demoralize him.
“Bring my luggage inside!” Liv suddenly called out from the bedroom.
“Hey, if you’re sleeping in my room, where should I sleep?” Wang Dadong then realized Liv had taken over his room.
“Bring my luggage inside and you can go home.
I don’t need you,” she replied.
Wang Dadong dragged the luggage into Liv’s bedroom, then plopped down onto the bed.
“What are you doing?”
“This is my room, of course I’m going to sleep here.
Either you sleep with me, or go back to your own room,” Wang Dadong asserted as if it were the most natural thing.
“Pervert!” Liv angrily cursed, then picked up her phone to make a call.
Soon, Hao Wentao’s voice came from Wang Dadong’s phone, “My friend, she is an important guest.
Try to meet her demands.”
After hanging up, Wang Dadong remained seated, showing no intention of leaving.
“Why aren’t you leaving?
Didn’t you just receive orders from your superior to follow my arrangements?”
Wang Dadong chuckled, “He’s not my superior, and he has no right to order me around.
I’ve decided to stay with you tonight; that’s the only way I can protect you.”
