Chapter 375: Chapter 264 Unique

"..."

The Red Raincoat was silent, and after a long while, his wrinkled mouth corners slowly curled into a sly smile.

"That’s really... just great!"

Whoosh!

Without warning, a slash of blade light tore through the air, skimming over Zhou Yuan’s throat.

Clang!

Sparks flew, and a high-pitched sound of clashing metal echoed as the sharp knife in the Red Raincoat’s hand shattered in response.

The Red Raincoat stood frozen for an instant, then immediately retreated, feeling a chill all over his body. Why could a human’s throat be so hard?!

"Do you not understand the worth of the True Dragon physique? Brother is a dragon! Bring it on!"

Zhou Yuan stepped forward aggressively, unleashing a Beng Fist. The roaring sound thundered like rumbling thunder, a turbulent air wave exploded, vibrating the fine curtain of rain into clarity.

The Red Raincoat spat out a mouthful of blood and slumped down slowly, like soft mud.

Zhou Yuan crouched down and lifted the hood of the Red Raincoat, revealing an old, wrinkled face that, upon close inspection, showed remnants of unrivaled beauty from her youth, a beauty that could topple empires.

[A massive and vile dark force invaded countless worlds, distorting and demonizing everything in its path. Brave people rose to resist, but ultimately could not escape their tragic fates; the Prince of the Black Wood Queen was among them.

Through certain means, the Black Wood Queen retained a few remnants of the Prince’s soul. While searching to regain her own youth and beauty, she also sought a suitable vessel to resurrect the Prince—however, she chose the wrong target.

You could use her to find the fairy tale book; you should speed up, because some new heinous characters have already arrived, which may attract the attention of that dark force.]

"Hmm..." Zhou Yuan pondered for a moment, used Mental Psychokinesis to leave a psychological suggestion in the Red Raincoat and healed her, then walked into the shadows and disappeared without a trace.

Moments later, the Red Raincoat gradually awoke, her head throbbing painfully, with only one thought left in her mind.

"I must find the fairy tale book..."

The Red Raincoat murmured to herself, staggering into the depths of the alley.

...

The door of the vintage bookstore swung open with a jingle.

The clerk, wiping the table with a cloth, looked up and said, "I’m sorry, but we’re already closed."

The customer in the red raincoat ignored him and walked straight into the shop, leaving clear, wet footprints on the floor with every step.

The clerk’s blood pressure spiked, his fists clenched.

But the next second, he saw the blood dripping from the Red Raincoat, and his rage extinguished immediately, replaced by terror that filled his chest.

Fortunately, the Red Raincoat ignored him, passing by and heading directly to a bookshelf; she picked up a thick, ancient book with a black cover adorned with a row of twisted characters like devil’s claws, reminiscent of a dark magic incantation.

"Found it..." the Red Raincoat said in a low voice, her tone barely containing her joy.

Just then, the jingle of the door announced another arrival; a hideous mermaid clothed in darkness pushed her way in.

Her upper body was humanoid, clad in two shells, her skin dark and body gaunt, limbs elongated, resembling a charred fish from the oven.

The lower half of her body was a fish tail covered in dark green scales, leaving behind a sticky trail on the floor that oozed an unidentified liquid and gave off a pungent fishy smell.

She had an alien-like head with a broad forehead, protruding mouth, and eyes set far apart, as vast as those of an anglerfish—taking a taxi from one eye to the other would cost two hundred bucks.

This was a visage devoid of any semblance of beauty, engendering an indescribable sense of terror in onlookers.

"Put down the book." The Black Fish Demon issued a warning in a raspy voice.

The Red Raincoat stared at her and, after a moment, actually placed the book back in its original spot, only to pull out a pointed knife from beneath the raincoat.

Inside the bookstore, the atmosphere suddenly dropped to freezing point, tense and charged. The clerk, unnoticed, tiptoed out the side door.

Suddenly, a sound of hooves came from the sky, growing louder as it approached.

"Damn, that guy’s here." The Black Fish Demon’s expression changed, and her tail violently thrust forward as she launched herself at the Red Raincoat like a cannonball, sweeping her claws across.

Clang, clang, clang!

Blades and claws scraped against each other, creating the sound of steel colliding. The two fought at high speed, exchanging dozens of blows in a blink of an eye, until the Red Raincoat was forced to retreat, her raincoat torn with dozens of varying slashes.

Yet the Black Fish Demon felt no excitement, nor did she pursue her adversary; instead, she quickly moved away from a certain area.

Then, with a thunderous boom!

A massive demonic pumpkin carriage ablaze with sinister green flames plummeted from the sky, forcefully smashing through the bookstore’s ceiling and continuing its relentless advance. The skeletal horses that drew the carriage trampled the air, emitting thunderous roars that shattered anything in their path.

A pair of pale hands reached out from the demonic pumpkin carriage, enveloped in a tangible darkness, and went straight for the fairy tale book.

But in that instant, the fairy tale book silently slipped into the shadows, vanishing from sight.

The pair of pale hands clearly hesitated, then clenched into fists and delivered a punch.

Boom!

In an instant, the bookshelves fell apart, and countless pages exploded, scattering like a blizzard. The destructive force ripped through the walls of the bookstore, revealing the night outside and continued plowing through several more walls before finally dissipating.

Dust billowed, and the explosive sound alarmed the nearby residents, who broke out in cold sweats and hurriedly fled the area, fearful of being caught in the battle between extraordinaries.

"Who is it?" came a venomous, angry voice from the pumpkin carriage. A powerful spiritual power spread out, searching for the person who had stolen the fairy tale book.

To no avail.

"If you don’t come out, I’ll kill them all!"

The skeletal horse turned and charged towards the crowd fleeing on the main street, its presence alone comparable to a thousand troops.

Crash!

A large stick came hurtling through the air, collapsing space itself with its overwhelming force, shattering the charging skeletal horse to pieces. Bone fragments scattered in all directions, and the demonic pumpkin carriage, riddled with holes, crashed to the ground.

Zhou Yuan emerged from the shadows and burst through the carriage door with his stick, but no one was inside—only a pair of bloodstained crystal shoes.

The crystal shoes, as if possessing consciousness, kicked towards Zhou Yuan’s face. He struck them into the ground with his stick.

Taiyin Divine Power formed Divine Chains, intertwining and binding the crystal shoes, while the Red Raincoat and the Black Fish Demon found themselves similarly ensnared. The chains tightened and pulled them closer.

Zhou Yuan looked at the Black Fish Demon with curiosity, clicking his tongue in wonder, "You’re quite the exotic little thing. It seems the ocean pollution is pretty serious where you come from."

Even a Deep Diver would take a sharp breath at the sight of her, likely haunted by nightmares for days to come.

No sooner had Zhou Yuan spoken than he suddenly looked up at the night sky, frowning.

In the sky, a Space Gate opened, exuding frigid air, and accompanied by a blizzard-like snowstorm, the Ice and Snow Queen wearing an icy blue gown with a crown on her head flew out.

Soon after, alarms resonated throughout London.

Zhou Yuan widened his eyes as if facing a formidable enemy, his immense Divine Power instinctively surging forth.

This was... a level 9!

"Don’t be nervous, I’m not an enemy."

Queen Elsa landed gracefully and said softly, "I come from the Shuttler Alliance, with good intentions."
