Chapter 126: Chapter 99: End of the Band 2

He relied on this phone call to successfully return to reality.

Kevin pressed the hang-up button on the phone, operated it briefly, disabled the phone’s self-destruct function, and put it back in place. He might need it again later.

"I wonder if the others have any means of escape... Forget it, doesn’t matter."

Kevin pushed up his glasses, a triumphant smile appearing at the corner of his mouth.

In fact, he had long known the location of the laboratory; he just never mentioned it, waiting for such an opportunity to briefly separate from the group.

The real location of the laboratory was in a bathroom on the third floor of the villa. You needed to press a specific tile, go through fingerprint verification, to open the hidden door, then take an elevator to go underground.

Upon reaching the underground, you still had to pass through several verification procedures. Only after confirming your identity could you officially enter the laboratory.

Kevin quickly put on various equipment, changed into a HazMat suit, and took the stairs to the third floor. He avoided all the mechanisms along the way. His glasses were an anomalous item with many abilities, allowing him to detect dangerous mechanisms or hidden passages in the surrounding environment.

Arriving at the third-floor bathroom, Kevin took out a palm from his Storage Ring. This was a real human palm, with cellular activity and bioelectrical signals, made using Alchemy after collecting skin fragments, blood, hair, and other elements of Raphael.

He pressed the palm against a specific tile. A moment later, the verification was successful; the hidden wall slowly opened, revealing an elevator.

Due to the emergency escape procedure, the elevator was in sleep mode, but this was not a problem for Kevin. He took out a button and pressed it against the elevator. The elevator made a restarting sound, the doors slowly opened, and the internal lights came on.

He took the elevator all the way down, reaching the underground laboratory. When the elevator doors opened, a sealed metal door appeared before Kevin.

With a thought, his glasses switched to X-ray mode, revealing the scene behind the door.

A world completely taken over by purplish-red fungus.

And right behind the door, several deformed, ugly, humanoid creatures with mutated organs and limbs were constantly banging on the metal door.

"Good thing I prepared thoroughly this time."

Mumbling, Kevin took out a spray can from his Storage Ring and sprayed himself from head to toe. His figure disappeared into the air like a doodle being erased by an eraser, completely invisible, with no scent or life signals remaining.

Next, he activated a certain item on his person, gaining a brief phasing ability. Taking a deep breath, he walked into the laboratory filled with purplish-red fungus.

"This is so sticky and slippery, absolutely disgusting." Kevin couldn’t help but frown.

He quickly made his way to the control room without stopping.

Before initiating the self-destruct sequence, there were still some things he needed to figure out.

"Phew, this one was quite strong. Almost incapacitated me accidentally."

Zhou Yuan exerted force in his arm, shattering the ice covering his skin.

On the ground lay a human-shaped anomalous creature wearing a loose, ice-blue kimono, a Snow Demon from Yingzhou legend. She had long ice-blue hair, a beautiful face, snow-white skin, exuding a biting cold.

Her limbs were twisted in a bizarre way, completely broken, blue blood dripped from her wounds, forming ice on the ground.

[A Snow Demon born from Yingzhou’s anomalous tales, don’t think she’s like those from fantasy books, she was actually extremely fierce, having killed over a hundred people in two years.]

The Snow Demon glared at Zhou Yuan with venomous hatred, letting out a piercing roar, revealing her demonic sharp fangs.

"Three, two, one."

As the Weaver’s countdown ended, the Snow Demon’s body shuddered, her expression quickly became calm, completely becoming a puppet controlled by the Weaver.

"I can heal her injuries." The Weaver manipulated large visible spider silk threads, wrapping the Snow Demon into a big white cocoon.

Zhou Yuan nodded, turned to look at the three anomalous creatures standing obediently not far away, fully under control.

A strong Minotaur with a red body holding a giant axe;

An electric mouse glowing with yellow arcs all over its body;

A female succubus with long pink hair, barely covered with pieces of cloth.

And now, the newly captured ice-blue Snow Demon...

Zhou Yuan nodded in satisfaction, solemnly declaring, "From now on, you will be called ’End Band’!"

"Lonely Rock, grand serial!"

"..."

The Weaver didn’t understand what its master was saying, but still made the three puppets clap.

Zhou Yuan was very pleased with this harvest. Although these four anomalous creatures were first-tier, they had growth potential, and their combined strength shouldn’t be underestimated.

Including the Shadow Beast and a bunch of breadmen skills, his army was beginning to take shape.

Zhou Yuan took out his phone to check the time; half an hour had passed.

The labyrinth was too large; he had been running around like mad for half an hour and only encountered these few anomalous creatures.

He couldn’t waste any more time; it was time to leave.

He took out an Advanced Paru Ball and released Fang Qing.

"What is this place?" Fang Qing asked curiously, looking around.

"Inside an anomalous labyrinth." Zhou Yuan explained briefly, pointing at the Weaver and her puppets, "Put them all into your Sea of Blood."

The Paru Ball could only accommodate one Paru and couldn’t store puppets.

Splash.

The Sea of Blood surged, enveloping the Weaver and her puppets into its internal space.

"It’s rare to get some fresh air, don’t make me go back so soon." Fang Qing stretched lazily. "Just torturing people inside can get boring too.

By the way, Du Kanghui has been shouting to see you, saying you broke your promise, and cursing your parents."

Zhou Yuan waved dismissively, "Mere parents, who cares."

Fang Qing: "..."

Without wasting any more time, Zhou Yuan returned to the resting hall he found earlier while searching for anomalous creatures. There were many doors here, and behind each door, there were endless corridors.

"Possess me first."

Fang Qing muttered "okay," transforming into blood and flowing into Zhou Yuan’s body.

Zhou Yuan randomly chose a door, stood in front of it, and shouted, "Let me out!"

Then quickly pushed the door open. The scenery at the door was no longer an endless hallway but a corridor on the second floor of the mansion, with ends visible on both sides.

He stepped out, looked back, the door disappeared without warning, becoming a wall.

"I wonder if the others got out... Let’s head to the laboratory directly."

Following the Eyes of Identification’s guidance, Zhou Yuan arrived at the third-floor bathroom, only to find that West and Hong Fangqi had already arrived—being extraordinary people from big forces, they couldn’t possibly be without some means.

"Such a coincidence, everyone." Zhou Yuan greeted.

"You got out too? Now maybe only Kevin is still inside." Hong Fangqi said.

"He got out long ago." West said coldly. "Earlier in the dining room, he secretly placed some items, it was a phone.

As an extraordinary person from the Hacker Empire, he has the ability to travel through data. Probably the moment he entered the labyrinth, he escaped by making a call.

He should already be inside the laboratory now."

"Then we’d better hurry." Zhou Yuan said, "Do you have any plans?"

Bam!

West punched, shattering the hidden wall, revealing the elevator shaft behind it.

"This is the plan." He jumped down first.

Hong Fangqi looked at Zhou Yuan, smiling, "Need me to handle you down?"

"No need." Zhou Yuan smiled politely.

Hong Fangqi stuck out her tongue, leisurely flew down.

Zhou Yuan followed closely, jumping down.

Coming down from the elevator top, prying open the elevator doors, the three of them saw the tightly closed metal door ahead.

"It’s best to enter without opening the door, to prevent the fungus from leaking." West turned to look at Hong Fangqi.

"I’ll give you some buffs." Hong Fangqi waved her Magic Wand.
