Chapter 18: Chapter 18: Mu Yixun

As daughters from the same parents, the treatment they received was worlds apart. She was neglected and disliked by her parents, while Mu Yixun was the apple of their eye.

Because of this, Mu Yixun developed a spoiled and willful personality, never showing any respect to her sister, Mu Yiliang.

Mu Yixun had a sweet appearance, and although she was only sixteen, her well-developed figure made her seem mature. Wearing a short skirt that exposed her fair legs, she appeared much more radiant compared to the dowdy-dressed Mu Yiliang.

"Are you home alone? Where’s brother-in-law?" Mu Yixun didn’t feel there was anything wrong with coming without an invitation. As soon as she stepped through the door, she began looking around, not even greeting Mu Yiliang.

"He’s upstairs." Mu Yiliang raised an eyebrow secretly. She had long known her younger sister to be frivolous and wanton, but she hadn’t expected Yixun would set her sights on Yan Sijue.

"I’ll go greet brother-in-law!" Mu Yixun’s eyes lit up as she spoke and headed towards the stairs.

"Wait!" Mu Yiliang stopped her, "Your brother-in-law is taking a nap; it’s probably not a good time."

Mu Yixun looked back at her scornfully: "Sister, don’t think just because you married brother-in-law you own this place. If I go into his room, he wouldn’t mind. Do you think I’m anything like you?"

Truly self-centered!

Mu Yiliang mocked silently in her heart. Since she had spent her childhood in the United States, she had little time with Mu Yixun and thus didn’t share much affection with her. Now, she was somewhat curious as to how Yan Sijue would handle Mu Yixun’s sudden attack and decided not to stop her, ready to watch the spectacle unfold.

Seeing her sister remain silent, Mu Yixun assumed Mu Yiliang was speechless because of her words, and smugly made her way upstairs.

Back then, if it hadn’t been for her being too young, the chance to marry into the Yan Family might not have fallen to Mu Yiliang! If she had known brother-in-law Yan Sijue was such a person, she surely would have fought for it and wouldn’t have let it slip to Mu Yiliang.

What a pity... she wondered viciously if brother-in-law could get it up with her sister...

"Hey, which room is brother-in-law’s?" Mu Yixun turned around and asked condescendingly.

"Second room on the right," Mu Yiliang quickly replied, then lowered her head.

Mu Yixun felt even more smug. Although she detested her sister, having such a timid, ugly, and incompetent sister undoubtedly made her seem prettier and more outstanding.

She let out a snort from her nose and turned her head, only to find Yan Sijue already standing at the doorway of the second room on the right.

The man, perhaps just awoken, had the top three buttons of his shirt undone, revealing a solid, attractive, and sexy chest. His eyes were still slightly sleepy, long lashes casting shadows as his gaze rippled, full of allure.

Mu Yixun was mesmerized! Her heart raced! At the wedding a few days ago, she knew he was remarkable but hadn’t gotten a close look, so the impression wasn’t deep. Now, she had only one thought: win him over!

"Who are you?" Yan Sijue lazily lifted his gaze, speaking as he unhurriedly buttoned up, his indifferent manner adding to his allure.

"I... am Mu Yixun. Hello, brother-in-law!" Mu Yixun finally came to her senses, confidently straightening her chest, displaying her signature sweet smile.

"Oh?" Yan Sijue raised an eyebrow, "So you’re Mu Yixun?"
