Chapter 54: Chapter 54 I Assure You I’m Not Sick (4)
The girl’s face blazed red in an instant, and she reached out to playfully hit the boy, "Stop talking about it!"
The boy held the girl in his arms, gently ruffled her long hair, lowered his head, and kissed her on the forehead, taking a few boxes as he whispered, "You won’t get pregnant from last night, it was a safe period."
"But even during a safe period there’s a risk, what if I do get pregnant? Should we go buy some contraceptive pills?"
"Contraceptive pills are harmful to the body, don’t take them... If you take them, you can’t want kids for half a year, besides, if you really get pregnant, we’ll just get married and have the baby!" the boy coaxed the girl softly in her ear.
Upon hearing this, the girl’s sweet smile could hardly be contained, and she buried herself deeper into the boy’s embrace before walking towards the checkout counter.
Ling Momo stood behind them, hearing every word clear as day.
At first, she was spaced out before she suddenly came to her senses.
The couple in front was talking about pregnancy...
How could she forget such a crucial matter?
She and Enson had been together several times; she wondered if she might also be pregnant?
Ling Momo’s face turned pale in an instant, and she occasionally glanced to the side, feeling somewhat anxiously uncertain in her heart.
Enson was the CEO of ES Music Entertainment.
That was common knowledge.
However, that’s all people knew about Enson.
She also knew something else – that Enson was male, very young, and with a handsome silhouette.
As for anything else, she was as clueless as the general public!
It was she who had thrown herself at Enson, sleeping with him a hundred times in exchange for an opportunity to sign with ES.
They were squared away, owing nothing to each other.
She even felt that Enson had no intention of letting her know what he looked like, otherwise, they wouldn’t always be together in the pitch-dark room!
This alone could indicate that Enson had no plans to have any further involvement with her in the future!
Business transactions needed to adhere to basic rules, she knew she couldn’t get pregnant, but also guessed that even if she did, Enson would likely have her terminate the pregnancy.
Thinking this, Ling Momo hesitated for a while but eventually went forward, picked a few boxes at random, put them in her shopping basket, and headed to the cashier.
As she paid the cashier, who scanned the items with an expressionless face, Ling Momo’s face burned with embarrassment.
Under normal circumstances, Enson rarely called her on Wednesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays.
But this time was different.
Ling Momo had just purchased her items and returned home when she received a call from an "unknown caller."
Before she could even speak, the familiar direct and concise words came through, "Tonight, the usual place, ten o’clock."
"Imperial Palace" was brilliantly lit.
The only exception was that room on the top floor, with the curtains tightly shut, enveloped in darkness.
Dark, as dark as ink.
If it weren’t for the faint breaths that intermittently reached one’s ears, it would be hard to believe someone was inside.
