Lu Niange furrowed his brow, hung up his phone without a word, and put it on silent. But who would have thought, before he even set the phone down, there was a call from Ling Momo coming in.

Lu Niange lifted his head and smiled apologetically at Chen Wanru. "Sorry," he said, then got up and walked to one side to answer the call, "Momo?"

Unable to restrain herself, Jian Chenxi scoffed in return, "She made you break up with me, what do you think I could have done to her?"

"Jian Chenxi, I’m telling you, if you dare to hurt her even a bit, you won’t live to see another day!"

Jian Chenxi was not afraid, instead she continued smilingly, "Lu Niange, whether I hurt her or not will depend on how you act. I don’t want to force you like this, but what can I do? If I don’t push you, I won’t even get to see you. So, I have to use something you care about to force you to meet me! I won’t waste more words with you on the phone.
