Chapter 100: Mr. Marino, my lover
Chapter 100: Mr. Marino, my lover
"Where are we going?" Alcinder said after some time when Elliana didn’t stop, and she stopped abruptly, making him almost bump into her back.
"I don’t know. Why did I do all that? I didn’t want to confront him. What the hell is wrong with me? Why am I feeling like this?" Elliana held her head between her hands, and Alcinder sighed.
He can understand why Elliana was losing her mind. After all, he was the first person to find her in that forest that day.
The way she was drenched in mud and had scratches on her legs and hands, he couldn’t even imagine what kind of things would’ve happened to her if she didn’t know how to fight and protect herself.
She must’ve been horrified that day. Judging from Elliana’s and Aditya’s talk earlier, it looked like they were good friends earlier before entering the university, or their friendship broke recently.
To hear that the mishap and attack on her self-respect were conducted by none other than the boy she thought was her friend must’ve broken her heart at another level.
Alcinder looked at the girl, who was barely controlling her tears.
"Come here," he said and pulled her in for a hug.
"You did nothing wrong, okay? Don’t blame yourself for any of it. I know you are hurt, but maybe things are better this way. You got to know the real face of people before he could harm and use you more, yeah?" Alcinder said, and met with such warmth, Elliana stepped closer to him before wrapping her hands around his torso.
"He wasn’t just my friend. I liked him at some point," Elliana confessed, and Alcinder sighed.
"I know," he caressed her head.
"It’s not bad to fall for someone. Sometimes we just fall for the wrong person we are not supposed to," Alcinder said out of the blue, unsure why he said these words.
"Don’t worry about me, Alcinder. I am not a weakling like that. I have taken more betrayals in my life than this one. The biggest betrayal from my mom, who left me in the hands of strangers who never loved me," Elliana stepped away and looked down the railing.
She started descending the stairs further and reached the ground floor, with Alcinder following suit.
She didn’t need anyone right now. Maybe she wanted to be left alone. No. she was wrong. There was someone she needed.
Mr. Marino. Elliana closed her eyes to think about the man who stole the entire show and her first dance.
Alcinder looked at his phone and saw an incoming call from his dad.
He looked at the girl, who was dancing in the garden funny, and sighed before taking the call and walking at some distance.
"Yes, Dad. I have taken care of that. Samantha is with me. She is dancing right now. Yes, I heard of it. By the way, a mysterious, powerful vampire also came to the party. Can you talk to the principal and let me know who he was? No. I didn’t get into a fight. I am mildly curious. I haven’t felt this kind of aura before. That would be better," Alcinder talked for a few more seconds and ended the call.
"Elliana, we should go back -" Alcinder turned around and paused when he saw her nowhere in sight.
Where the hell did she go? He gritted his teeth before looking at the floor of the hall where the event was being conducted.
If Daniel heard he lost her, he is surely going to freak out. Alcinder pinched the bridge of his nose. She was here just a minute ago. Where can she go so suddenly?
Meanwhile, Elliana, who spotted Lucas and Mr. Marino walking towards the car, ran towards them in full swing the fastest she could.
"Mr. Marino!" Elliana shouted, and Sebastian froze in his place. His hand on the car’s door paused, and Lucas gulped before standing in front of the prince so that Princess didn’t notice the blood splashes on his coat.
"Mr. Marino, are you hiding from me? Hehe," Elliana chuckled with her hand over her mouth, and Sebastian raised his brows at her voice, unsure if he should proceed to take out the new set of clothes from the trunk and change into them or just greet his wife like this.
But won’t he scare her away like this? Wait. Why is she talking like that in the first place? Is she -
Sebastian didn’t waste a second in turning around and stepping away from Lucas.
"Did you drink or eat something?" Sebastian asked, and seeing his prince talking to the princess, Lucas almost had a heart attack before he took out his coat and wrapped Sebastian in it.
Sebastian looked at his subordinate with raised brows, making him retreat immediately.
’I just didn’t want the prince to scare the Princess and give her the trauma of life. Why is he looking at me like that?’ Lucas scowled and stepped back.
"You..." Elliana pointed her finger at Sebastian before roaming it up and down.
"Who splashed the sauce on you? Hehe," Elliana chuckled with her crinkled eyes, and Sebastian smiled, amused.
She was really drunk.
’Oh, Elliana, why do you keep giving me more reasons to want to ruin this smile on your face,’ Sebastian pulled her close in the blink of an eye, and Elliana gasped.
’I want to ruin the smile on your lips with mine,’ Sebastian looked at her plump parted lips before looking into her amber eyes.
"Close your eyes, princess," Sebastian said, and Elliana widened her eyes even more before shutting them close.
"Stupid girl. Why do you keep getting into trouble?" He removed the handkerchief from her hand and traced his hand over the cut before taking off his mask slightly.
"Mr. Mari -"
"Ssshhh," Sebastian pulled out his handkerchief and blindfolded her.
He looked at Lucas in warning, and the subordinate immediately turned his back on the couple.
"Mr. Marino? What -mmmmphh!" Elliana moaned when Sebastian’s lips attacked her, and he pushed her onto the car’s door, making a loud bumping sound.
The kiss didn’t last long, but it was enough to remove the scent of other men from her and mark her again with his scent. The scent that screams dominance and demands respect.
"Mr. Marino, you are so mean!" Elliana scowled, and Lucas’s lips twitched.
"I am mean, and you are not? Fine. I am. Let me show you how mean I can be," Sebastian said before pushing her inside the backseat of the car.
"Start the car, Lucas. The party is over for the princess," Sebastian ordered.
Alcinder, who also heard the voice, rushed to the side and only saw an expensive car driving away.
What are the chances that Elliana was in that car? Damn it! Where the hell did she go?! Alcinder gritted his teeth and dialed Daniel’s number.
"Hello? What’s up, Alcinder? Is she giving you a hard time?" Daniel asked, and Alcinder looked around, trying to find ways how to tell him the truth.
How is he supposed to tell Daniel that he, the vampire council’s head’s son, couldn’t handle a human and lost her? Alcinder thinned his lips.
Meanwhile, Elliana pulled out her phone from her clutch.
"Let me tell my friends I am gone with my lover," Elliana said before signaling Sebastian to move forward toward her so she could tell him the secret.
Sebastian narrowed his eyes but bent his body nonetheless, curious about what she wanted to say.
"That my lover kidnapped me. Hehe," Elliana giggled again, and Lucas bit the inside of his cheeks to contain the smile that was itching too much to appear.
Lucas looked at the princess before his gaze met with the prince’s hard ones, and he coughed before focusing on the road.
Sebastian put up the partition between the driver and back seat and sighed, massaging his forehead.
What is he supposed to do with his wife right now? She was not herself, and every part of her body was alluring and calling to him.
It didn’t help that he just fed and his senses were heightened and rather than running away like he had thought she would, she was rather being more clingy right now to him.
"Hello? Melony? I am gone. No. I am not dead. I am going home with my -"
"Guardian," Sebastian completed the sentence, and Elliana hummed.
"With the man you liked the voice of. Yeah...my guardian. But he is not only that. He is also my -" Before Elliana could complete her sentence, Sebastian snatched the phone from her hand and ended the call.
"Stupid girl. You are the one who wants to keep this a secret, and now look at you," Sebastian scowled and looked out of the window, but he didn’t expect Elliana to jump on him.
"Mr. Marino, here, lick them," Elliana pointed at her lips, and Sebastian’s pupils dilated.
