Chapter 36: The Poor Hannah

Miri and Ami were bent on taking Hannah in front of the man she liked.

They couldn’t believe that Hannah didn’t even know the name of the man she liked.

"Miri...Ami, please don’t do this!"

Hannah begged as she held the pillar to stop her friends somehow.

The two girls looked at each other before they looked at Hannah or more like glared

"Oh really! Why do I seem to remember that this same girl had gone to my husband and had even sent him a fake letter in my name when she had come to know of my feelings for him...Miri, am I saying something wrong?"

Miri smiled and shook her head as she said

"No, darling. You are exactly right."

Ami smiled as if she was pleased with the answer.

She had been insecure about her looks so she could never confess her feelings to the man she had liked. When she had told Hannah and Miri about this, two girls had gone behind her back and gave a love letter to her present husband, James in her name claiming that their friend was too shy to do this.

It had taken James about half a year to ensure Ami that he didn’t care about her looks.

That he only wanted a partner by his side who loved him selflessly and whom he could love selflessly.

She, however, had been unaware of the letter thing until their wedding night.

James had said that he always believed that letter was not written by her since the first time he had met her.

The kind of personality she had, according to him she could never write such a letter.

She had almost died out of embarrassment when she read the letter.

It had taken James his entire energy to stop her from leaving the room and pounce on Hannah and Miri.

Later, Miri had told her that it had been Hannah’s idea all along.

At that time, Hannah had saved herself using the fact it was because of her idea that she and James could get married otherwise Ami had continued to keep her feelings inside her heart.

’Her dear friend...she had done so much for her. So how could she, Ami, miss the time to repay!’

Ami grinned evilly as she thought this.

Hannah cried without tears when she saw her evil grin. Her pitiful eyes went to Evelyn...the only girl who was involved in this revenge game.

Evelyn couldn’t help but feel pity for her.

It would not be very pleasant for Hannah if she were put in such a situation by Miri and Ami.

"His name is Henry.’

Evelyn’s calm and soft voice sounded making the three girls look at her.

"Henry..."

Hannah’s whispered with a stupid smile on her face as her cheeks started to go red.

Only God, Miri, and Ami knew what she was thinking.

They were completely aware of her dirty mind after reading that letter.

Their lips twitched as they looked at the love-struck girl.

"What? Are you already on his bed with him in your fantasy?"

Ami asked with a mocking smile on her lips and she couldn’t help but gasp when she saw the foolish girl nodding her head.

Hannah’s cheeks went redder when she realized what she had just nodded at.

She lowered her head in shame.

The two girls ignored the fool and looked at Evelyn.

"Evelyn, how do you know?"

Ami asked curiously.

"In the morning he had been called by His Highness. His Highness instructed him not to let anyone enter the castle without his permission. Elias had called him by his name."

Miri and Ami nodded their heads.

"He was called by the prince. Then he must be in a good position."

Miri analyzed and Evelyn nodded her head in agreement.

"He is the head of guards in the castle."

Evelyn’s words made the girls raise their eyebrows in surprise.

"Well....you caught a good man, girl!"

Ami patted Hannah’s back heavily as she said.

The love-struck girl was still smiling as she nodded her head as she said

"Yes, he is very handsome."

Miri chuckled and Ami rolled her eyes.

The way Hannah was holding the pillar now, it looked as if she was fantasizing holding Henry like this.

"You better go tell him the same as soon as possible."

Ami’s words made Hannah turn to look at her. She swallowed as she looked at her strict face.

Ami was back at the revenge game.

"You have only two days."

The strict expression on Ami’s face was suddenly replaced by a grin as she said

"Otherwise you know how helping I am! I just can’t stay without helping others. So I must help my dear Hannah if she is facing such a huge problem."

Hannah had an aggrieved expression on her face. She silently begged for some mercy.

However, Ami merely yawned as she said happily

"I should go home now. My darling husband must have made the dinner already."

And then she left from there.

Miri did feel pity for Hannah but she also left after some hesitation.

On the other hand, Hannah slid down across the pillar as she stared at nothing in particular.

"Evelyn, I am doomed."

Then she suddenly stretched her hand out in front of Evelyn and begged

"Save me, Evelyn..wuwu....save me from bullies!’

Why does she feel that her love story is going to end before even starting nicely!

Her dramatic expression made Evelyn sigh. She stood there for a few moments before she made Hannah stand up.

"Do you have someone at home waiting for you?"

Hannah shook her head as she leaned her head against Evelyn’s shoulder.

So Evelyn dragged Hannah to her room to sleep.

The wound on her head was now itching. She knew that she couldn’t touch it so she wanted to sleep.

And from Hannah’s expression, it looked as if she should also sleep for some time to calm down.

Hence, both the girls went to sleep on Evelyn’s bed which was just enough to sleep for two people.
