The Mafia Prince And His Reincarnated Nemesis -
Chapter 166: What Happened Last Night?
Chapter 166: What Happened Last Night?
It took over half an hour for Marcello and Eduardo to get ready after cleaning themselves up. Marcello had to spend more time in the bathroom, finger-fucking himself to clean the cum from his hole.
There were a lot of them, thanks to Eduardo.
They got dressed in new shirts that were found in the wardrobe in the little house by the beach. It was as if Marcello had planned for everything beforehand.
They entered the car and drove off. Marcello was heading to the Ivanov mansion; they were going to drop off Eduardo at his manor first before Marcello headed back to his mansion. The drive was very silent as they were both busy with one thing or the other. Marcello was concentrating on the road since it was very dark while Eduardo was skimming through some messages that were on his phone.
Most of them were from Maya who was having a tough time at home. The last message she sent was about an hour ago. He tried calling her number, but it was not going through.
"Is something wrong?" He mumbled.
Marcelo stole a quick glance at Eduardo and turned back to the road. He could notice the word expression on Eduardo’s face.
"Did something bad happen?" He asked.
Eduardo shook his head and put his phone back into his pocket. With a warm smile on his face, he remembered something that happened a few days ago.
"Coming to my ceremony under a disguise, what were you thinking?" Eduardo asked raising an eyebrow.
Marcello nervously scratched the back of his head as a grin appeared on his face.
"It wasn’t my idea. Nikolai, Mario and Maria asked that I disguise myself just in case you were going to send me out"
Eduardo scoffed.
"Oh, I could have done that, but I found your disguise so funny that I forgot to but..." He took a small pause, diverting his gaze outside the window. "Thank you for coming... If it weren’t for you, I’m sure the culprit who actually drugged me would have had their way"
Marcello smiled, stretching his hand to touch Eduardo’s cheek. Eduardo felt the touch of his finger on his cheek and turned to look at him.
"Don’t be like a child now, Marcy..."
"Did you catch the culprit that day?" Marcello purposely asked.
"I asked my father not to look into it. They didn’t succeed anyway" he said.
Marcello was silent for some seconds, thinking if to expose Fabio’s secret. It would help Eduardo escape from Fabio’s bad intentions in the meantime.
He couldn’t tell how far Fabio had gone with feeding Eduardo that pill.
’If I tell him about it, he should have an idea of being careful around Fabio...’ he said and parted his lips to speak to him. Just as he was about to talk, Eduardo’s phone rang loudly, interrupting him.
Eduardo swiftly took the phone out of his pocket and answered it.
It was Maya calling.
As soon as he swiped up the green dancing button on the phone screen, Maya’s loud voice echoed in the car.
"WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU AT?!" She screamed.
He pulled the phone from his ear almost immediately.
"Uhm... On my way?" He replied, uncertain of what to answer with.
"Get your ass here immediately before people start thinking you’re a sex maniac!" She yelled and disconnected the call.
"Sex maniac? Did she know..." Marcello furrowed his eyebrows.
"I don’t think it’s about that. Can you speed up a little? I have no idea what she’s up to" Eduardo said, tapping the screen of his phone.
.
Hours later, Eduardo arrived at his manor. The moon was still high in the sky, it was way past midnight. Instead of pulling up to the front entrance, Marcello parked his car discreetly near the far edge of the estate, where the trees grew thick and the cameras didn’t reach.
Not that he was scared of the cameras...
"Goodnight!" Eduardo said. Marcello nodded his head before pulling his head for a quick kiss.
"Dream about me..." Marcello murmured with a wink.
"You wish," he turned around, leaving. Marcello watched till he was out of sight before driving off.
He stepped into the estate, barefoot, his shoes in one hand. The gravel bit into his feet as he made his way toward the side of the house, ducking beneath hedges and weaving between garden statues. He knew this terrain well, every bush, every hidden blind spot.
Like a thief...
He crouched beneath the window of his room. It was on the third floor, but there was an ivy-covered trellis running up the wall. He had climbed it before when he sneaked out of the house a few hours ago. He was going to use the same means to sneak back up.
He could only pray and hope it doesn’t break or make loud noises to attract attention. He doesn’t want to be seen as a mafia boss sneaking into his own home in the middle of the night.
The wooden slats creaked softly under his weight, but they held firm. Slowly, steadily, he pulled himself up. A soft breeze rustled the vines as he reached the ledge, using one hand to push the window open. It hadn’t been locked; Maya just had left it slightly ajar in case he was sneaking back in.
With feline grace, Eduardo slipped into his room, landing soundlessly on the tile beneath the window. The air inside was warm and faintly scented with lavender from the diffuser Maya had plugged in earlier.
She was there, just as he expected. Curled on the bed like a sleeping cat, the covers tangled around her legs. One arm was draped over the pillow where he should have been. The dim lamplight cast a glow across her features. She looked so calm, so innocent, but she was an assassin.
He walked closer to the bed, the singlet she was wearing was sliding down her shoulder, exposing more than just her cleavages. He threw the cover over her body, turning away from the bed.
He paused.
The soft ache across his shoulders reminded him of the marks Marcello left, the scratches, kisses, and a bite on his shoulder. His nipples were hard, red and swollen, not just his nipples... his chest was still blotched with red from all the heated touches, and one love mark near his ribs throbbed faintly with every movement.
But Eduardo didn’t wake Maya. He didn’t have to.
He walked past her silently, picked up a towel from the chair, and slipped into the bathroom.
The water in the shower was scalding, just the way he liked it. He stood under the stream for a long time, letting it sting his skin as it washed away every lingering trace of Marcello’s scent, the salt from the sea, the sand still clinging to his legs, the sweat on his brow.
’Even though the time was limited, I got to see the sea... It was truly comforting!’
He closed his eyes and tilted his head back.
He hadn’t expected to see Marcello again. Not like that. Not with that kind of intensity.
When he finally emerged from the bathroom, a cloud of steam followed him. The room was still quiet. Maya hadn’t moved. She remained fast asleep, lips parted slightly in her dreams.
He squinted his eyes, wondering if she was truly an assassin.
He didn’t touch her.
He grabbed a spare cover in the closet and lay on the couch. His body was still aching, and so was his waist.
He didn’t say a word.
Sleep came slowly.
---
The next morning, chaos stirred in the manor.
The staff buzzed like bees in every hallway, their whispers ricocheting off the walls like wildfire. It was the third floor, which needed not much attention, yet they still walked everywhere.
Reason?
"Did you hear? He was in there with her the whole night."
"I saw her shadow through the curtain. She was on top of him, riding him. How far could he go?"
"Both of them, actually. Moving. At midnight. Again at two. I wish my boyfriend could fuck me like that... He’s more like a five-minute man,"
.
.
"He finally did it, huh? Took her to bed."
"About time."
...
The maids were the worst, hovering by the kitchen, whispering into each other’s ears like it was gospel.
"I’m super sure she’s going to look so tired this morning, positively glowing. She received a prince’s seed,"
"He must’ve given it to her good."
"I told you he liked her. Didn’t I tell you?"
The guards exchanged glances. Some chuckled. Others looked stunned.
"He’s never had a woman stay overnight before, not even lady Nadia who grew up with him"
"Never even let them in his room."
"Guess she’s different. That woman is going to be the new madam of the house"
Meanwhile, Eduardo was still in bed, completely unaware of the wildfire he had ignited by doing absolutely nothing. Maya stirred beside him, yawning softly, her hand brushing his arm in sleep. She felt someone’s presence beside her and opened her eyes. Her eyes met with his handsome sleeping face.
Stretching her hand, she trailed her finger across his face.
"Sofuckinghandsome!" She mumbled and tried to sit up. Her waist made a cracking sound and she screamed in pain.
That sound made Eduardo wake him. He squinted his eyes and also tried to sit up and he heard the same cracking sound from his waist.
They both exchanged glances with each other.
"What the hell did you do last night?" They chorused at the same time.
