Chapter 118: Is This Really The Kind Prince? 2
Fabio, who was supposed to be in Italy, suddenly appeared in the Ivanov manor.
Well, that was a bit of a shock to everyone, including his mother.
A few hours ago, he was forced to head back to Russia after something happened that morning in Italy
Fabio had barged into Viola’s room and saw Eduardo with bite marks all over his body and also his swollen nipples. He held himself back, as his face burned with anger and jealousy. He was agitated that someone dared to touch something that belonged to him.
All he could do was ask...
"Who gave you those marks?"
He did try to hide the anger in his tone, but Eduardo could sense it. From the start, he didn’t like Fabio. He just had the feeling that something didn’t feel right whenever he was around.
He has no idea what happened between Fabio and the real Eduardo or what kind of close relationship they had, but as long as he’s the one possessing Eduardo’s body, he won’t try to get close to Fabio at all.
"Why do you ask?" Eduardo gave a cold response to his silly question.
Fabio’s raised an eyebrow and walked closer to Eduardo.
"I’m asking because I care about you, as your brother," he said.
Eduardo smirked.
"Brother... Huh?" He gulped the water from the cup and returned it before wiping his mouth with the back of his palm. "Thank you for caring about me, but I’m old enough to take care of myself"
Eduardo said and turned to leave. Without hesitation, Fabio pulled him back by his pants, leaning him on the small kitchen island. He trailed his hand on Eduardo’s chest explaining...
"Eddy! I heard you lost your memory, but I hope they’ll all come back. I was the only closest person you have. Much more closer than your sister..."
Eduardo slapped his hand off his body before they heard a voice. It was Viola. She looked so angry to see Fabio, trying to make a move on Eduardo.
She frowned in disgust and folded her lips, trying to control her anger.
"Fabio! Can I have a word?"
"Do I have to say yes?"
"If you don’t agree with me, I’ll make sure you never see my brother again", she threatened with a slight grin.
"Ugh! Fine!" He took one final glance at Eduardo before leaving. Eduardo was confused but his sister wore an assuring smile.
"I’ll make sure everything is comfortable for you, Eddy", she mouthed and left with Fabio back into her room.
Angrily, she shoved him to the wall, taking a hairpin from her hair and pointed it to his eyes. Everything happened so quickly, that he didn’t have enough time to react.
"What are you doing?" He asked.
"What am I doing? Do you know how hard I’m stopping myself from killing you now that I’ve found my brother? I know you’re cooking up something in that rotten head of yours, and if I find out it has something to do with Eddy, I’ll kill you with my two hands, Fabio," she gritted her teeth.
Fabio gently pushed Viola’s hand off his face.
"I know you’re suspicious of me. But, what can I do with him when he has no memory of me?" He asked innocently.
"Don’t try to fool me! I won’t fall for it. Even if he’s crippled, dumb, blind or mute, you won’t stop yourself from keeping your hands off him, will you? That’s how crazily obsessed you are. Get his passport ready and leave for Russia immediately"
"Are you ordering me?" Fabio frowned.
"Yes, I am. Make sure your mother isn’t in that house by the time I return with Eduardo" She pulled away from him, dropping the hairpin on the make-up table.
Fabio adjusted his shirt and clicked his tongue. He already planned to meet with Nikolai later to take the passport. He received help from someone called Mario to get Eduardo’s passport from Marcello’s room.
"Fine, I’ll do as you say. But don’t think I’m doing it because you asked. I’m only doing it for Eduardo" he said and walked away, slamming the door hard.
When he returned outside, there was no sign of Eduardo anymore. A grin crept on his face as he walked towards the door.
’No matter what condition you’re in Eddy, you won’t get away from me’
.
After a few minutes, Fabio met with Nikolai at the hotel’s restaurant, where he was given Eduardo’s passport. Fabio saw the photograph and the name and smirked.
"Eduardo Rizo? What a funny name" he spat.
Nikolai fumbled his fingers, wanting to ask about Fabio’s lover, but he couldn’t bring himself to. He watched Nikolai shove the passport into his pocket.
"It’s surprising to know that Eddy is your brother. Haha," he let out a nervous laughter, scratching the back of his head.
"Huh? Eddy? You call him Eddy?" Fabio froze where he was seated.
"Uh, no! I mean, that’s what everyone calls him. He’s quite popular among everyone in the Diabolo house. But there’s no special relationship between both of us" Nikolai waved his hands.
"I see... Well, I’m happy that I’ve found him. After all, I almost gave up on him when I heard he was dead" A smile blossomed on his face. Nikolai nodded his head and suddenly realised...
"Dead? You... didn’t you say it was your lover who was dead?" He asked. Fabio grinned and walked closer to Nikolai. He bent his back, shoving his face into Nikolai’s as their foreheads touched.
"Brother... Lover... I see no difference. He is back, that’s the most important thing, right?" He asked and turned to leave. He waved his hand as he walked away.
"Let’s meet again in the future"
Nikolai sat there, still not able to move after hearing those words from Fabio. His lover, whom he spent more than ten years grieving, turned out to be his younger brother.
Nikola lowered his head and slapped his hand over his mouth.
’How... How is this possible? Does Eduardo know about this? Wouldn’t it be better to inform him about how crazy Fabio is? What kind of person would want such a relationship with his own brother... Ugh’
He stood up immediately and left. His head was a mess, and so was his own cousin. But, he was able to let go of one thing that morning, which was his feelings for Fabio.
It took over one hour to be able to get into Marcello’s room. He locked himself in there after Eduardo left the event. It ended awkwardly since Marcello didn’t show himself for the remainder of the ceremony, not even to give a speech. His father ended everything.
Everyone tried to get him out of there throughout the night, but he locked himself up like a teenager.
Thanks to breaking down the door, they were able to get him out of there, and Mario also fished out Eduardo’s passport.
He ruffled his hair and leaned back on the car.
"Drive slowly, there’s no need to rush. I don’t have anything to do once I get home..."
"Yes sir!" The driver responded.
Well, he had another thing to do, and that was to listen to his mother’s nag.
.
.
After returning Eduardo’s passport, Viola forced Fabio to head back to Russia and get everything prepared before they arrived. He agreed and decided to leave.
And that’s how he stumbled upon everything that was happening in the dining room. Viola already told him that their father was going to handle everything in his own way, but he never thought his father’s way was going to be this gruesome.
He was a bit pleased, but still, it wasn’t enough.
From the start, he had been uncomfortable around Charlotte as she kept on forcing him to do things he didn’t want to do, all in the name of preparing him for when he became the Mafia Lord.
All he wanted to do then was to spend all of his time with Eduardo. Attend junior and high school with him, attend college together, stay in the same dorm or probably rent an apartment where the two of them would stay alone.
And when Eduardo becomes the Mafia, he will be his right-hand man. That’s what Fabio wanted. Anything that’ll make him close to Eduardo. He never wanted to be five minutes away from him, but his mother separated them from each other.
After hearing the news about her being responsible for Eduardo’s disappearance, he thought of what to do to get back at his mother. He had a lot of devilish thoughts, and their mother-son relationship was what was keeping him from hurting his mother, but now...
Nothing was holding him back.
She’s not even his real mother, so he could do whatever he wanted with her.
He left his luggage by the door, ignoring the stares and murmur. He walked towards Charlotte, who was still pleased to see her son.
"Oh, Fabio. Hurry and untie this rope. Call the commissioner while you’re at it. I’m going to get every one of these people arrested for what they did to me" she yelled.
He stroke his chin gently.
"Seems like they didn’t torture you enough, seeing you’re still able to speak", he said.
Charlotte’s face turned pale immediately.
"Wha... what are you talking about? Aren’t you going to help your mother?"
"Why should I? Tell me. Give me one reason why I should help you or I’ll shove a chisel down your throat... Go ahead and speak Mother," he asked, his eyes flashing with anger.
"Eek!" She squeaked nervously.
