Chapter 583: Chapter 583: Hua Jinyan’s Divine Skills!

The answer must have been impossible.

Just imagine, you go to a restaurant for a happy meal, and suddenly there is a huge explosion that blows you to pieces. Could anyone truly have no complaints?

Perhaps there might be some who are stoic about it, but they are, after all, in the minority.

Hua Jinyan touched the Rainbow Relic on his wrist, "I’ll give it a try."

Xiangxiang frowned deeply, "Don’t be reckless."

"I’m just verifying something."

"What’s that?"

"Whether this place has been rebuilt... to draw a formation."

Upon hearing this, Xiangxiang was stunned.

Hua Jinyan had already gotten out of the car and walked back to the restaurant.

Little Taotie hurriedly followed, staying close by Hua Jinyan’s side. She clenched her small fists with full confidence, "Hua Jinyan, I will protect you!"

Hua Jinyan slightly curved the corners of his mouth, his eyes deep and profound, and nodded, "Alright."

The cashier saw them return and asked puzzledly, "Did you forget to take something?"

Hua Jinyan nodded.

Cashier: "Do you need help?"

Hua Jinyan: "Thanks, but no need, we’ll look for it ourselves."

Hua Jinyan slowly took off the Rainbow Relic and placed it into a brocade pouch covered in talismanic inscriptions.

He and Little Taotie stood in front of table number three pretending to search for something, but in reality, they were waiting for the frenzied arrival of spirits.

The clock in the hall ticked away the time.

Time passed bit by bit.

Hua Jinyan looked toward the entrance, and Little Taotie followed his gaze.

Instead of the mass of shadows they had imagined, there were only a few sporadic spirits with vacant and dazed eyes, spirits that had lost their consciousness a long time ago and came instinctually.

As they approached the restaurant’s door, just about to rush in, a flash of blood-red light appeared and disappeared, faintly revealing what seemed to be a giant formation beneath the ground. A massive suction force shot towards the spirits, twisting their forms as they struggled against it, but ultimately they were defeated and got sucked into the ground.

Hua Jinyan’s gaze was abyssal, like an ancient, deep well. He slowly took the Rainbow Relic out of the brocade pouch and put it back on his wrist, "Let’s get back in the car."

Little Taotie pursed her lips, her little face serious, and nodded her head.

Passing by the cashier, they heard her concerned inquiry, "Did you find what you were looking for?"

Hua Jinyan nodded, "We found it."

Back in the car, Xiangxiang was very silent.

Hua Jinyan glanced at her, "Did you smell it?"

In the instant the blood light appeared, Xiangxiang had sensed a very unpleasant odor.

It was the scent associated with a kind of ritual sacrifice involving countless flesh and blood.

Xiangxiang pressed the gas pedal, "Let’s get back to the Ancient Castle first."

A streak of red light transformed into a drop of eerie blood that suddenly dashed towards the rear of the car, finally sticking firmly to the tail light.

This droplet of blood was odorless and small, failing to catch the attention of the three people in the car.

When the red light came on, Xiangxiang pressed the brake, but suddenly her head jerked in pain, as if shocked by electricity, and her body uncontrollably continued pressing the gas pedal!

"Ah!" Xiangxiang screamed in terror.

A car that was normally driving around the corner had not expected her to keep pressing the gas, and a collision seemed imminent!

Hua Jinyan took a deep breath and solemnly uttered two words, "Shift."

A miracle happened, and the two cars passed each other by a mere 0.01 millimeter gap.

Xiangxiang exhaled a breath, her entire body soaked with sweat.

After the two cars had passed each other, Hua Jinyan’s complexion instantly turned pale and his expression pained. He clutched his chest, gasping for air, as a small crack appeared on the Rainbow Relic on his wrist.

Little Taotie’s eyes widened, her gaze full of confusion, and her little mind somewhat overwhelmed.

She had seen the trajectory just now; the two cars were surely going to collide, but as soon as Hua Jinyan said "shift," the cars really did shift!

Hua Jinyan, facing Little Taotie’s puzzled eyes, moved his pale lips, "Words Conform to Law."
