Chapter 736 Searching for Susu_1
Chapter 736: Chapter 736 Searching for Susu_1
Susu had been missing for a full three hours now.
The Qin Family members were frantic with worry, and to avoid disturbing Shao Jinyang and his team’s work, they found themselves a storage room nearby.
All four of them hadn’t rested; with Susu gone, not knowing what she was currently enduring, they were in no mood to rest.
Seated atop cardboard boxes in the storage room, each of them contacted people they knew, trying their best to gather any information.
Even though they might not be of much help, it was better than doing nothing at all.
Elsewhere, the surveillance room in the mall had become the temporary office for Shao Jinyang and his two team members.
Tracking through street surveillance, they had essentially confirmed that the car that took Susu had ultimately gone to Yinhua Building.
This was a sixty-six-story office building located in the CBD.
It wasn’t far from the mall where the incident occurred.
The person who took Susu had driven around the city several times, even purposefully entering other parking lots to switch cars, before circling back to Yinhua Building.
Luckily, Shao Jinyang and his team, who were responsible for the tracking, were professionals and weren’t fooled by these diversions.
Shao Jinyang decided to go to Yinhua Building immediately.
"Team Leader Shao, let us go with you!"
"Yeah, Team Leader Shao, it’s too dangerous for you to go alone!"
Two team members wanted to accompany him.
"You stay here and continue the investigation. The Qin Family next door still needs your protection and care. It’s easier for me to go alone without attracting attention. Besides, with Xiaozi’s remote assistance, there shouldn’t be any problems," said Shao Jinyang.
Team Leader Shao instructed the other two to continue working there, while he drove to the location by himself.
The best time to find a missing person is within twenty-four hours, so he had to act fast.
After arriving in the building’s underground garage, Sangzi, providing remote assistance, hacked into the mall’s internal surveillance system, and guided Shao Jinyang remotely to precisely locate the car’s position.
Parked in several nearby spaces were the cars of other accomplices that had escaped earlier that day.
Moreover, all these cars were parked in fixed parking spaces, proving that this place was at least a base for these people and not just a spot chosen on a whim for a rendezvous.
Wearing a Bluetooth headset, Shao Jinyang moved while instructing Sangzi, "Xiaozi, check who these parking spaces are registered to, and whether this person has any property in this building."
Sangzi acted swiftly, having already accessed the building’s relevant information by the time Shao Jinyang entered the edifice.
Now all she needed to do was search to obtain the parking space owner’s information.
Before long, Sangzi reported the answer she’d found: "Team Leader Shao, the parking spaces are registered to someone named Wang Xiaoming, and this entire building belongs to this person named Wang Xiaoming."
"Wang Xiaoming? Which characters?"
"The most common ones, the ’wang’ with three horizontal strokes, the ’xiao’ that means small, and the ’ming’ as in tomorrow. A very common name."
"I haven’t heard of anyone by that name in Capital City’s circle of millionaires. Can you find any other information about this person?"
Owning an entire office building in Capital City’s most bustling area, the person’s net worth must be considerable.
Sangzi’s hands flew over the keyboard, the screen displaying a good deal of information, yet none of it was what they needed.
"Team Leader Shao, I can’t find any information about this Wang Xiaoming. There is plenty of information about other Wang Xiaomings, but I don’t know which one is the one we’re looking for," she said.
