Chapter 656: Chapter 656 Principal Comes to Visit_1
Upon receiving the joint petition from the Parent Committee, the principal’s head buzzed.
What should he do?
Qin Susu was quite adorable and had behaved very well during her time at school, even influencing other children to behave better.
Moreover, Qin Susu’s parents were the well-known elders of the Qin Family, and during their last visit to the school, Mr. Guo had taken a particular liking to her and commented on her gifted nature.
In every respect, the principal felt he had no reason to expel such a student.
But he couldn’t simply ignore the opinion of the Parent Committee; he couldn’t offend all the other students just for Qin Susu, could he?
And their concerns were indeed reasonable and founded.
Qin Susu was indeed stronger than he had thought, posing a significant potential danger.
After much deliberation, the principal decided to pay a visit to the Qin Family elders to explain the situation and ask for their opinions.
"Elder Mr. Qin, Elder Mrs. Qin, I really don’t know what to do", said the principal. "Susu has always performed well at school, and I can’t bear to expel her, but look, all the other parents have made up their minds. Although I am the principal, I can’t disregard their opinions..."
Looking at the joint petition from the Parent Committee, both Elder Mr. Qin and Mrs. Qin’s expressions grew grave and solemn.
After some thought, Elder Mr. Qin said, "We have been informed about the issue and understand the difficult position you are in, principal. The sentiments of the other parents must be taken into account. However, we hope that you can give us a few days to try and resolve the matter. If we can’t handle it by then, you can make your decision, is that acceptable?"
"No problem at all," sighed the principal with great relief upon hearing Elder Mr. Qin’s reasonable approach.
He had been genuinely concerned that the Qin elders might lash out at him in anger.
"Then I will take a couple of days off for our little darling," Elder Mr. Qin added.
"Certainly, certainly. Let little Susu rest well," the principal said with utmost gratitude.
"Then you can return to the school and wait for our news," they concluded.
"Certainly, certainly," replied the principal.
The principal felt a weight lift from his shoulders as he left the Qin’s residence, considerably more at ease than when he’d arrived.
After the principal had gone, Mrs. Qin frowned slightly, her gaze sharp, and she gave a hefty pat on her thigh.
"Don’t be angry, old woman. We knew this might happen when we first brought our little darling to the city; it was bound to come sooner or later," Elder Mr. Qin quickly tried to soothe her.
"Sooner or later isn’t wrong, but sooner and later are not the same! If it were a few years down the line, our little darling would be older, she wouldn’t take these criticisms to heart, and I wouldn’t be worried," Mrs. Qin said.
Mrs. Qin didn’t care what others said about her, but she did care about what they said about her little darling!
Her little darling was still so young, what if these words caused her psychological trauma?
Just the mere possibility filled Mrs. Qin with rage.
Elder Mr. Qin’s brows also furrowed deeply. Yes, their little darling was so young and innocent; if she developed psychological scars due to the unusual way people looked at her...
The image was too painful for Elder Mr. Qin to contemplate; just the thought made him irate.
Even at his age, he ought to have been more detached from such matters, but when it came to their little darling, Elder Mr. Qin felt as protective as he had been in his youth, bristling with spikes.
