Chapter 618: Chapter 618 Whatever Susu Wants, Draw It for Her_1

Mr. Guo also paused for a moment before laughing, "Alright, alright, I’ll draw SpongeBob SquarePants."

"I want it in color, not black and white! It must be as bright and beautiful as this one in the picture book!" Susu added.

So there are additional requirements!

As everyone knows, Mr. Guo is a national treasure artist who excels in traditional Chinese painting.

But, the kind of vividly colored images Susu mentioned from the picture book are mostly watercolors, gouache, or crayon drawings.

Hearing this, the principal tried to persuade her with a few words, "Susu, actually Chinese paintings are very beautiful too. Chinese painting is a top-level art that has been passed down for thousands of years, and the beauty it presents is by no means inferior to watercolour paintings!"

"Is that so?" Susu revealed a puzzled expression, but she still felt the drawings in the picture book looked better...

Before the principal could continue persuading Susu, Mr. Guo took the lead, "I’ll paint whatever Susu wants. No problem."

Mr. Guo immediately had someone bring over watercolor paints and started to draw for Susu right then and there.

Although Mr. Guo’s main focus was Chinese painting, he was also quite accomplished in other painting disciplines.

In no time, a lifelike SpongeBob SquarePants appeared on the canvas.

Susu happily said, "This is beautiful!"

Indeed, from the aesthetic of a child like Susu, it is these realistic and vibrant paintings that are considered beautiful.

The other onlooking children also expressed their agreement:

"Right, this is beautiful!"

"SpongeBob looks so real!"

"Grandpa Guo is amazing!"

"Grandpa Guo, can you draw anything else? Can you draw Patrick Star? What about Mr. Krabs?"

"..."

The eyes of the children all seemed to sparkle like stars.

The principal and teachers laughed awkwardly alongside them.

Chu Yanxi secretly scorned in her mind, "This group of ignorant little brats! They can’t tell good from bad!"

Encouraged by the praise from Susu and the children, Mr. Guo then drew several more SpongeBob SquarePants in different poses.

This made Susu completely happy.

Having received the drawings, Susu said, "I want to hang these up in the classroom! That way, I can see them all the time!"

Saying so, Susu turned to look at the principal and the teachers, "Teacher Zhu, may I?"

By this time, Teacher Zhu was dumbfounded and didn’t know how to respond to Susu’s request.

These were Mr. Guo’s personal drawings!

Even if it wasn’t "Listening to the Rain under the Cottage," they were still Mr. Guo’s personal paintings, which were very precious!

She dared not make the decision lightly.

Teacher Zhu looked to the principal, who excitedly said, "As long as Susu is happy, of course there is no problem!"

Having Mr. Guo’s works on display in the classroom would definitely be an honor for their school.

The principal couldn’t have been more eager.

"Alright, then I’ll trouble you, principal, to hang these few paintings on the wall later so that Susu can see them," Mr. Guo immediately said to the principal.

"Certainly, certainly," the principal promptly agreed.

The teachers then promptly hung Mr. Guo’s SpongeBob SquarePants series on the wall where Susu could see them.

Susu was very satisfied with the spot; now she could see SpongeBob anytime she wanted.

Mr. Guo continued to explain some basic painting knowledge to the children before ending his visit for the day.

At parting, Susu took off a cherry hair clip from her head, "This is for you."

Seeing the hair clip in Susu’s hand, the nearby principal and teachers smiled with a stiff and unnatural expression on their faces.

Susu, your hair clip is cute and all, but Mr. Guo wouldn’t be able to use it!
