Axu, you need to take better care of your health, seems like you need some nourishment."

Yuwen Xu pursed his lips and furrowed his brows: "Don’t talk nonsense."

"I’m not talking nonsense. There’s a restaurant across the street that specializes in medicinal cuisine; how about I take you there for a meal right now?" Qin Yuze continued.

"It’s true," Yuwen Xu said gravely.

"Then what’s her relationship to you?" Qin Yuze pressed on.

"In terms of blood relations, she’s my sister," Yuwen Xu explained.

"Cousin? Stepsister? From a distant branch?"

"Same father, different mothers."

Same father, different mothers? That would mean...

Qin Yuze immediately fell silent, asking no more.

He felt as if he might have touched upon a sensitive matter.

Suddenly, he felt somewhat regretful for his impulsive recklessness just now.

"Let’s... go have a coffee upstairs," Qin Yuze suggested, then pulled Yuwen Xu up to the second floor.
