Chapter 864: Chapter 469: The Tragedy of God_3

If we get sucked in, the consequences will be unimaginable.

At this moment, the wailing of the Book of Knowledge echoed again.

"Master, it’s not good, the Dream Realm suffered heavy losses, two large cracks appeared on the Obelisk, and it’s estimated that repairs will need at least two billion souls."

Rod’s face fell, he didn’t have that many souls now, even if he did, the repair wouldn’t be quick.

Just brushing against the edge of the shock wave resulted in such a hit.

"How is the King of the Deep Sea, Asmonis, so strong?"

The Book of Knowledge answered dejectedly, "It is one of the oldest and most powerful Old Masters. I thought its physical body had long perished, leaving only fragmented soul pieces. I didn’t expect it to be lurking here. With the current power of the Dream Realm, we are far from capable of challenging it. We almost met our end."

Rod’s heart sank, they were about to battle with ancient gods, yet the Dream Realm was heavily damaged like this.

"How long will repairs take?"

The Book of Knowledge calculated for a moment, then replied, "Three to four days."

"That means it won’t be in time."

The Book of Knowledge was silent for a moment before saying, "Master, the combat portion of the Dream Realm is intact, and the damage to the defensive portion is not too severe. Only the main part suffered a more serious blow, which has little impact on the Dream Realm’s combat. As long as it does not receive further direct attacks, there will be no problem."

Rod exhaled, "That would be good, how much longer do we have?"

"Soon, just ahead, in the Great Red Spot of the Chaotic Sea."

The final stretch of the journey was personally piloted by Rod. His control was far more skilled than the Book of Knowledge. The Dream Bubble flew at incredible speeds through the perilous Chaotic Sea, deftly avoiding various dangers and obstacles.

Before long, Rod saw the location the Book of Knowledge referred to as the "Great Red Spot."

It was a large mass of reddish-brown substance, conspicuously suspended in the black ocean.

At a distance, it didn’t seem remarkable, but upon approach, Rod realized it was incredibly massive, with a diameter exceeding a thousand yards, almost capable of containing half the Trolian Kingdom.

When the Dream Bubble flew into the Great Red Spot, the view became murky. Even with the Star Core’s assistance, Rod couldn’t see far.

"The remnant body of the Flesh Reborn God, Heragotos, is at its center."

The Book of Knowledge stated.

"I have already sensed its seven remnant bodies. They are all gathered here, attempting to birth a new, more powerful monster."

"We are best to eliminate it directly in the Spirit Realm. If its power is too strong, we can use the Spirit Realm Strike to break its defenses."

Rod responded briefly, cautiously and swiftly approaching the center of the Great Red Spot.

With the boost of 32 Source Energy, the Dream Bubble’s speed was astounding. Before long, Rod vaguely saw the colossal entity at the center of the Great Red Spot.

"Is that the God of Flesh Reborn?"

Rod was taken aback.

"Why does it look completely different from before?"

Previously, the remnant body of the Flesh Reborn Ancient God invaded like a giant shell stuffed with intestines and organs.

But now, what he saw was a conglomeration of countless pustules.

Large and small brown pustules crawled over this mass of flesh, with an eye larger than the Royal City rotating amidst the mass.

In the Dream Realm, Rod couldn’t sense its Spiritual Energy, but every shudder, every burst of a pustule triggered a Spiritual Energy storm. Its strength surely exceeded imagination, not much weaker than the King of the Deep Sea, Asmonis, before.

Fortunately, Rod didn’t find a Source in its soul. Otherwise, this battle would not be fought.

The Book of Knowledge shouted, "Master, that is the Flesh Reborn Ancient God, Heragotos. This monster was born from the aggregation of its seven remnant bodies. It has not yet taken form, with part of its power in the Sea of Source, trying to capture a Strong Source. Now is the best time to attack it!"

Rod forced down the discomfort and fear in his heart, focused, and linked his consciousness to the Sun Tower.

As Source Energy surged onto it, the Light Cannons lit up one by one in his mind, feeling like an extension of his body, indescribable, like a part of himself.

Source Energy, 5 units for basic supply, 4 units reserved for the Source Energy Propulsion Ring, and 28 units lit up 7 Light Cannons.

The Star Core guided Rod’s vision, locking onto that colossal entity.

Then, the 7 Light Cannons fired simultaneously, launching a fierce attack at the Flesh Reborn Ancient God.

The Light Bombs trailed long plumes, striking the ancient god. The intense explosions tore its flesh, burst its pustules, and splattered black-red blood, adding another smudge of black and red to the reddish-brown currents.

Effective!

Rod was delighted to find that the Light Cannon’s power was far stronger than expected, at least much more potent than when fighting the Main Brain, seemingly indicating that the Dream Realm’s power also increased the Light Cannon’s strength.

The bombardment continued for dozens of seconds before the Flesh Reborn Ancient God let out a muffled roar, releasing countless black stone-like materials, raining down on the Dream Realm like a meteor shower.

Rod, with unparalleled prowess, guided the Dream Realm through the meteor shower like a swallow freely and swiftly in a storm.

Meanwhile, the shelling continued. The power of the 7 Light Cannons was immense, blasting the ancient god’s flesh everywhere. The sprayed black blood nearly enveloped it.

"Hahaha, could it be this simple to claim victory?"
