Chapter 135: Chapter 98 Justice Execution_3
My humanity was clearly at 961 before, so why has it only dropped to 101 now?
Rod’s thoughts flashed like lightning, recalling the original function of humanity—enhancing rationality, increasing resistance to madness, dementia, and resistance to dark corruption!
So that was it!
In an instant, he understood, it was humanity that helped him fend off the corruption of the Black Priest.
But at the same time, humanity was rapidly depleting, resistance was quickly diminishing, so her corrupt spiritual light was starting to affect him.
In just a few seconds, Rod discovered in horror that his humanity had dropped further, to 96 points.
If this continued, once he lost all humanity, he would immediately be corrupted by the Black Priest.
Suddenly, another wave of dizziness struck, his soul felt tired and empty, a feeling of utmost depletion welled up from the depths of his heart.
This is bad, Spiritual Energy is drained.
Rod knew the situation was critical; even the Undying Spirit might be of no use at this time.
Even if he could preserve the undead, it wouldn’t prevent him from being corrupted.
Without hesitation, with a thought, the Blue Star burst into a brilliant light within his soul.
[Awakening]
A fierce storm of Spiritual Energy was summoned, the power from the Source poured back into his soul, instantly vanishing the sensation of fatigue, emptiness, and depletion, leaving only a powerful sense of fullness.
Spiritual Energy was abundant.
Rod then turned his mental gaze to the yellow star, and tapped into its Star Energy.
In a flash, an exuberant melody descended in his mind.
Rod almost instinctively raised his right hand, powerful Spiritual Energy gathered in his hand, and a bright yellow light extended up his arm.
The air vibrated, Spiritual Energy boiled, and an unknown soul screamed.
The grand melody, like a rushing river, broke through barriers, seemingly echoing in the space.
The First Layer Melody.
The bright yellow light formed a massive cannon, directed where Rod’s index finger pointed.
Dang dang dang dang.
The intense notes shook the space, the fierce melody created a storm, countless Spiritual Energy through the characteristic laws formed destructive energy.
Inside the cannon, white light flickered.
The Second Layer Melody.
Bang bang bang bang.
Like an explosion reaching its limits.
The bright light pierced the darkness, mountains and rivers collapsed, the heavens and earth thundered down.
The Third Layer Melody.
[Justice Execution]
[Spiritual Energy Trio]
Boom!
Dazzling white light shot forth, the soul’s torrent surged forward.
The Black Priest had been terrified by the horrifying sight, she tried to dodge multiple times, but was firmly entangled by the Phantom. As the Spiritual Energy surged, she desperately tried to escape, but the Phantom embraced her tightly, letting the Double-Headed Blade slice through its body.
"No! Why is this happening..."
The destructive white light engulfed her figure, drowning out her voice.
The entire area suddenly became as bright as daylight, a substantial white pillar of light directly penetrated the black barrier, piercing the Black Fog above Royal City, leaving behind a colossal trail.
----
Upper City District.
White Tower.
Within a giant diamond eye.
One of Royal City’s most important pillars, the Great Prophet, the Forbidden One, the White-robed Iyeta, shifted his gaze from the opposite side of the Dead Ash Mountain Range, towards the Outer City District.
"Hmm, a very interesting law."
He pondered, muttering to himself.
"Whose little one is it? Is a new Fire of Hope about to be born? No, no, not yet, it doesn’t compare to Evelyn and Teresa."
Though he said so, a hopeful smile appeared on his aged face.
"Maybe, there will be some surprises? Just like Alan back then..."
----
Royal District.
Holy Fire Sacrificial Ground.
The King, who was reading the report on unfair measures by secret candidates submitted by the monitors, suddenly lifted his head.
The Archbishop Horus immediately asked, "King, what do you think?"
The King reluctantly glanced at him, "Little Horus, I don’t really think much."
Horus clearly became nervous, "King, unrestricted struggle is malicious, it cannot be allowed."
"Don’t talk! I obviously know."
But as the King tried to sense it again, the disturbance from the Source had disappeared.
He sighed:
"Horus."
Horus immediately replied, "Yes! Please command, King."
"Dance for me as an apology."
"Ah?"
Horus’s flesh on his face quivered, looking at his King bewildered.
The King, however, paid no attention.
He sat silently in front of the roaring Holy Fire, lost in thought.
