"Smack," a little fleshy hand slapped his hand back with a loud smack.

"Yuan Xiaoxi!" Yuan Xiaodong gritted his teeth, his face flushed with anger, but Yuan Xiaoxi just wouldn’t glance at him, still staring at Xiu Xi, stretching out her arms for him to hold her.

Ruan Jiaojiao really couldn’t hold on any longer, and quickly looked at Xiu Xi, motioning for him to take over.

But unexpectedly, Xiu Xi not only didn’t take her, he even took a step back.

"Xiu brother, what are you doing, hold her quickly, I can’t hold on anymore."

"I won’t hold her," Xiu Xi refused. This was the first time he had refused, and even Ruan Jiaojiao was taken aback.

Just then, Ruan Jiaojiao saw Jiang Bin and a few friends from Zhao Li’s family entering and immediately shifted her attention.

As soon as Jiang Bin entered the restaurant, he looked for Xiu Xun, and once he spotted him, his gaze never shifted. Yet, the closer he got to home, the more hesitated he became. Even though he was certain and the person was right in front of him, he somehow didn’t dare to acknowledge him, and just kept quietly watching.

He followed Xiu Xun’s figure, meandering among the guests for more than ten minutes, until he saw Ruan Jiaojiao.

He immediately waved at Ruan Jiaojiao.

"Uncle Jiang, is there something you need?" Ruan Jiaojiao approached and asked.

"Jiaojiao, could you please call Xiu Xun over for me? I would like to speak with him for a bit," Jiang Bin said.

"Of course," Ruan Jiaojiao nodded and turned to call Xiu Xun.

The restaurant was crowded, and with the Yuan Family still there, Xiu Xi didn’t dare let her out of his sight, following closely the entire time. When Ruan Jiaojiao called out for Xiu Xun, he stood behind, watching with a dark expression.

Xiu Xun was busy serving dishes; the guests had almost all arrived, and lunch was set to start at half-past twelve. The dishes were nearly all out, with each table boasting twelve, and with thirty to forty tables, he was rushed off his feet.

When he saw Ruan Jiaojiao coming to find him, thinking someone from the Ruan Family had instructions for him, he followed without suspicion, but upon seeing Jiang Bin, he was a bit baffled.

Ruan Jiaojiao walked away with Xiu Xi after leading him over, not wanting to disturb their uncle-nephew conversation.

Jiang Bin, looking at Xiu Xun before him, felt a huge wave of emotions and became a bit nervous. Under the increasingly bewildered eyes of the other, he spoke up, "Hello, my last name is Jiang, and my name is Jiang Bin."

"Uncle Jiang," Xiu Xun greeted, remembering him as the distinguished guest from the last meal, and did not dare to neglect him.

He gestured to the private room behind him, "Do you have a moment to speak with me?"

What could Xiu Xun say? To him, this man was an honored guest of the Ruan Family, and even if he was busy, he couldn’t say so. He nodded and followed him into the private room.

There were not many people in the private room yet, just three men chatting in the corner.
