Chapter 730: Chapter 732 Brother-in-law
If it weren’t for the fact he was still a child, Lin Fei would have definitely beaten him until he was desperately searching for his teeth.
“Brother Luo, I’ll go change my clothes now.”
Yun Chuyao pointed at the changing room, her words tinged with a bit of restraint, given that this was inside Lin Fei’s office.
Lin Fei said okay, and Yun Chuyao took the clothes and headed to the changing room.
Actually, Lin Fei also felt the situation was quite awkward. If it were just him and Yun Chuyao, it would have been bearable, but the problem was on the couch—there was Lin Feng, who feared the world was not chaotic enough.
After giving Lin Feng a stern glare of warning, Lin Fei turned and walked to his desk, beginning to admire the scenery outside the office.
A huge floor-to-ceiling window faced Lin Fei’s desk. Through it, Lin Fei overlooked the Pearl River Economic Zone.
Outside the window, high-rises clustered thickly, bustling with a vibrant and unparalleled prosperity of traffic and commerce.
Unintentionally, Lin Fei saw the imposing building directly across the street, with four metallic brackets on the rooftop that formed the large letters—Mu Group.
Lin Fei then realized that the imposing building across was actually the headquarters of Mu Group in Jiangdong.
“No wonder he chose this location for my company.”
Serving as his own secretary, Lin Fei was only afraid that he would become distracted from work.
“Sit down, and behave.”
Hearing Lin Fei repeat himself, Yun Chuyao finally sat down, took the documents in front of her, and began working.
Lin Fei then sat down next to Lin Feng, thoroughly inspecting him, and exclaimed disapprovingly, “You are not normal, are you? Not interested in her at all?”
“A person—at least, not a good person.”
…
As it neared time to leave work, Yun Chuyao came over, handing Lin Fei three documents, “These three are from the company, outsourcing contracts, and partnership plans; please, Brother Luo, take a look.”
Casually taking the documents, Lin Fei patted the spot beside him, signaling Yun Chuyao to sit.
Yun Chuyao obediently sat next to Lin Fei, hands on top, turning her head to view the documents with Lin Fei, occasionally explaining some details to him.
Lin Fei briefly checked the contents of the three documents. One of them was an outsourcing job that another business had brought to them. Although Lin Fei’s company was primarily focusing on IoT projects themed around smart homes, it was still in its initial phase and would accept some outsourced jobs to warm up.
Lin Fei looked it over, and seeing that the compensation was quite decent, handed this outsourcing task to Lin Feng, “What do you think, can you do it?”
Lin Feng briefly glanced at the outsourcing task, replied condescendingly, “This is too easy, it’s overkill for me to work on this.”
“No matter if it’s overkill or not, you have to do it.”
Seeing Lin Fei’s serious expression, Lin Feng finally became serious for once, “Then just sign it. I’ll start next Monday and can finish it in two days.”
Lin Fei didn’t see any issue with that, but Yun Chuyao was quite shocked by Lin Feng’s words.
Since she had carefully read the document, she knew the client required delivery within a week, and it was clearly a job meant for a technical team.
However, the company hadn’t yet recruited any technical staff; how could Lin Feng so confidently claim he could finish in two days?
But Yun Chuyao soon thought that since Lin Feng was personally appointed by Lin Fei as the head of the development department, perhaps he truly had some exceptional skills, so she kept silent.
The remaining two documents were partnership plans from other enterprises. Lin Fei had no clue about these but felt embarrassed to admit it in front of Lin Feng, so he pretended to ask Yun Chuyao.
“Chuyao, could you help me check these two partnership plans? I want to hear your opinion.”
Hearing this, Lin Feng scoffed at Lin Fei, “Sounds nice, but Lin Fei brother, you actually don’t understand anything, do you?”
“Insulting people, that I understand well.” Lin Fei glared back at Lin Feng and then smiled at Yun Chuyao, “Ignore him, just speak.”
Yun Chuyao immediately began analyzing the documents sincerely for Lin Fei, suggesting one of the partnership plans was viable, but the other needed further consideration.
Upon hearing this, Lin Fei instantly signed one of the partnership plans. For the other, he let Yun Chuyao decide, purportedly showing complete trust in her.
Yun Chuyao organized the documents.
“Alright then, I will review this plan once I’ve inspected the specific situation of the other company, and then I’ll ask you, Brother Luo, to make a decision.”
“There’s no need,” Lin Fei said after observing her capabilities all day, confident enough to delegate. “From now on, for matters like this, you make the decisions.”
