Su Ningxiu’s suggestion was met with no opposition from Su Yunjin.

Now, providing some wontons or something similar to elder brother Su Muze isn’t a bad idea at all. Let’s do as the second sister suggests. The two sisters walked to the wonton shop together.

To Su Yunjin’s surprise, the stall sold not only wontons but also noodles, rice porridge, and even steam dumplings and buns. With such a variety of food, they could simply buy a random selection for their brother.

Normally, this amount of food would be more than sufficient for two grown men to eat. It was only because elder brother Su Muze had been starving for two days that Su Yunjin decided to buy so much.

Expecting his wives to be outside the pharmacy, Wang Meng finished taking care of Su Muze and went to look for his little wife, but to his surprise, neither his little wife nor Su Yunjin were there.

His little wife was holding so much alone.

Wang Meng also spotted the returning pair and strides forward without a second word, "Xiuxiu, did you go to buy food for our brother?"

Holding two steaming hot bowls in her hands, Su Ningxiu had passed on the richly flavored braised noodles offered by the couple running the stall, opting instead for the lighter-tasting vegetable noodles without any meat or fish. As Su Ningxiu peeked into the pharmacy, she asked Wang Meng,

"Husband, how is it? Has elder brother woken up?" Su Ningxiu was concerned about Su Muze.

Wang Meng, taking the bowls from Su Ningxiu’s hands, said, "Xiuxiu, hand me the bowls, I’ll take them to our brother." Having taken the two bowls from Su Ningxiu’s hands, over on the other side, Gu Ya also took the porridge and food from his little wife’s hands.

For a moment, Su Ningxiu and Su Yunjin both had their hands empty.
