Chapter 1260: Chapter 1260: Hearty Praise

Wang Meng continued to laugh.

"Xiuxiu, you are truly beautiful. I’m so happy to be able to marry a wife like you," said Wang Meng as he looked at his delicately lovely little wife, cherishing her more with every glance. Wang Meng was a straightforward man.

The little wife was too delicate, and sometimes Wang Meng would hold her but dared not use too much strength, fearing he might accidentally break her slim waist.

Su Ningxiu spat at Wang Meng, "Tsk, you’re so inappropriate." Although she said this, her heart was filled with joy. With a smile on her lips, Su Ningxiu continued to lower her head and work on her embroidery.

Wang Meng did not leave either. He just sat beside his little wife, not speaking, letting her work in peace. Su Ningxiu saw that Wang Meng wasn’t leaving and

lifted her head to look at him again.

"Husband, why haven’t you gone to sleep yet?"

Wang Meng poured himself a cup of tea to drink, "Xiuxiu, I’m keeping you company." Wang Meng didn’t leave, and after Su Ningxiu tried to send him away twice to no avail, she let it be.

Finally, after being busy for two days, Su Ningxiu finished making the sachets and cloth tigers for her younger sister. During these two days, Gu Ya also wasn’t idle; he discussed with his little wife and decided to hire workers to help them make fruit wine.

Gu Ya spent two days in town looking for helpers. After selecting carefully, he found about ten people, all chosen meticulously by him.

They were all chosen according to standards of diligence and honesty. For now, Gu Ya planned to find ten workers. If that wasn’t enough, they would hire more later.

If it was enough, then they wouldn’t look for more.

Su Yunjin calculated and, hearing that Gu Ya found ten workers, also felt that should probably suffice, "Husband, let’s just hire ten for now. If it’s not enough, we can find more later."

With the workers’ matter resolved, Su Yunjin looked at the time; the day after tomorrow would be the full-month celebration at the Prince Qi Residence for the Little Prince, and they would need to go there then.

She wondered if her second sister had finished the embroidery she had asked her to make?

Su Yunjin planned to go over in the afternoon to ask, but before she could visit her second sister’s house, her second sister came first because Wang Meng had to watch over the shop in town.

Therefore, the second sister came alone.

Su Yunjin, upon seeing Su Ningxiu, immediately brightened, "Second Sister, you’ve come? I was just discussing with my husband about going to find you at your home." She joyfully pulled Su Ningxiu into the house.

Before Su Yunjin could speak, Su Ningxiu started with a smile, "Little sister, here, your second sister has finished everything you asked me to make for you."

Su Ningxiu held a small bundle in her hands, inside of which were the cloth tiger and sachets that she had made for Su Yunjin. As she spoke, Su Ningxiu handed the bundle over to Su Yunjin.

Su Ningxiu eagerly took it.

Unable to wait, she opened it, and inside were the sachets and cloth tiger made by Su Ningxiu, both made as a pair.

The sachets were embroidered with exquisite patterns. Considering the noble status of the princess consort, Su Ningxiu weighed her options and embroidered the sachets with a phoenix and peonies, both of which could represent the princess consort’s prestigious status. Embroidering other flowers like orchids or lotuses would have seemed too stingy and not befitting of the princess consort’s rank.

The cloth tiger made by Su Ningxiu also took a lot of effort and was much prettier than the one she had initially made for Su Xiaobao.

The small cloth tiger was made to look brave and fierce, almost as if it were real. Su Yunjin liked both items made by Su Ningxiu very much after seeing them.

"Second Sister, you did a really good job," Su Yunjin graciously complimented Su Ningxiu, and once again, she took the sachets and cloth tiger embroidered by Su Ningxiu into her hands to examine.

She looked at the sachets.

She squeezed the cloth tiger.

Su Yunjin immensely adored the sachets and cloth tiger made by her second sister.
