Chapter 911: Chapter 911 The Strange Disappearance Vanished_1
"It seems this is the boundary of White Blind Mountain," Lin Caisang said, looking up and glancing sideways at Ya Molian.
It’s said that White Blind Mountain is a very strange place, completely different inside from outside. There’s not just the fact that people go and never return; there’s much more.
"Shall I go over and take a look first?"
As she spoke, she reached out to cross the boundary to the other side, wanting to check what White Blind Mountain really was.
However, a hand was quicker than hers and pulled her back.
"Do not act rashly. Everyone will depart together in two hours, then head back."
Before Lin Caisang could say anything, Ya Molian had already dragged her away, leaving behind only the leader and the guards still staring at the river of blood.
"Leader, isn’t this river of blood very strange?" the guard asked cautiously after swallowing his saliva.
Originally, there was a slope over there. The river of blood should have flowed down to their feet, but for some reason, it vanished without a trace.
With one eye squinted, the leader gazed at the place where the river of blood disappeared, then glanced at the guard by his side.
In the next moment, before the guard could react, the leader grabbed him by the collar and threw him heavily in the direction of the river of blood.
’Plop!’
A muffled sound rang out. The guard didn’t even have time to scream before the leader threw him in.
Ya Molian and Lin Caisang turned around at the same time, only catching a glimpse of the guard’s terrified expression and the leader’s intense gaze, not wanting to miss a thing of what was about to happen.
"Heh."
Lin Caisang let out a faint smile.
Only those in the emperor’s immediate circle could commit such a cruel act, using living people as guinea pigs, disposing of them as if sending them to their deaths.
"Let’s go, there’s nothing to see," she said, looking at Ya Molian.
"Wait," Ya Molian called after her.
It felt like something complicated was going on, and White Blind Mountain was not simple either.
The guard thrown by the leader landed directly on top of the river of blood, but he was brave enough not to faint from shock. He quickly bounced up and tried to walk towards them.
Just a few steps taken, and everyone felt a blur before their eyes; the guard’s figure disappeared just as strangely as the river of blood had.
"Vanished?"
Lin Caisang blinked, and blinked again, unable to comprehend what was happening.
"Molian... What’s going on? Could it be there are formations on White Blind Mountain?"
Other than that explanation, she couldn’t think of any other reason. Clearly, everyone saw the very real person thrown in, so why did he vanish upon trying to leave?
"It’s probably not just simple formations," Ya Molian said, shaking his head.
Hearing this, Lin Caisang took a deep breath, feeling that things were indeed not that simple. It seemed White Blind Mountain’s reputation for being a place of no return was not without merit.
"Right now, we are on the outside and all our speculations are in vain. We can only discover more after we go inside," she said.
"Hmm."
Ya Molian nodded.
"Let’s head back first."
"Alright," Lin Caisang agreed.
No matter what lay on White Blind Mountain, they needed to eat and regain their strength to ponder and deal with those things.
"Hold on."
Just as they were preparing to go back, suddenly, the leader behind them spoke up.
