Chapter 1639: Chapter 1639: Let’s Sleep on the Same Bed
"It seems there are still some tricksters around, or maybe, not human."
She said.
"Hmm."
Zimo responded.
"According to what that man said earlier, before the hail started, a seven-colored rainbow appeared in the southern part of the city, and that too without any rain. Perhaps, we can go there tomorrow to have a look."
He suggested.
"Okay."
Lin Caisang nodded.
Seven-colored rainbows are fairly common, but she had never seen a rainbow like the one described by that man.
That man said that the rainbow was very beautiful, with seven clearly distinct colors, and it was huge, big enough to cover the entire southern part of the city, causing everyone walking there to be bathed in rainbow hues.
Is this really a rainbow?
It is clearly a strange phenomenon!
"We’ll go to the south of the city tomorrow, let’s sleep early tonight."
She said.
On the roof, the sound of hailstones hitting the ground continued, but it was covered with thick wooden boards, so there wouldn’t be any issues for now.
They could sleep with their minds at ease.
...
The next morning, as soon as it was light.
"Listening to the sound of the hail, it seems to have gotten bigger."
She sat up from the bed, with bleary eyes, looking at Zimo who was sleeping on the floor.
She genuinely felt sorry for him; every time they performed a virtual task, Brother Molian had to sleep on the floor, which seemed pitiable.
And, he definitely wouldn’t agree to sleep in another room.
"Yeah, it’s gotten bigger." Zimo nodded.
Having listened to the hail all night, he naturally could feel the changes in the hailstones.
"Brother Molian, next time, you should sleep on the bed with me. The floor must be cold," Lin Caisang, still in a somewhat confused state, said to Zimo.
"Hmm?"
Zimo raised an eyebrow, his eyes full of laughter as he looked at her.
"Are you sure?"
He didn’t mind, but he was afraid that this girl might kick him off the bed. After all, a girl’s reputation is quite important, isn’t it?
"Yes, I’m sure. This is a virtual task world, nobody can see us, what’s there to be unsure about?" Lin Caisang said.
Moreover, she was going to marry Brother Molian in the future. She thought that it shouldn’t be an issue for them to sleep on the same bed, right?
"Okay."
Zimo agreed.
He then stood up and sat down beside the bed.
"Are you fully awake now?"
He raised his hand and gently patted her cheek, asking softly.
"Almost, I’m almost awake," she replied.
In fact, she still wanted to sleep, even a short nap would be nice.
Having completed four tasks in a row, she was incredibly tired; she never knew how exhausting it could be to do tasks consecutively.
But the noise of the hailstones hitting the roof outside was so loud that she couldn’t sleep, so she had no choice but to get up.
"These action points are really hard to earn," she said.
"What would you like to eat? I’ll make it for you," Zimo asked, smiling at her kitten-like gaze.
At the mention of food, Lin Caisang felt a lot more awake, her eyes shining.
"Anything you make is fine, I want to eat shrimp..."
She grabbed Zimo’s arm and said.
Zimo: "..."
As expected, the first two sentences were irrelevant; the most important part was indeed the last four words.
"There’s no fresh shrimp, only dried shrimp. They need to be soaked before cooking," he said.
"Uh-huh, that’s fine, that’s fine," Lin Caisang nodded again.
