Chapter 1500: Chapter 1500: But She is in a Hurry!

Was this to let her feast her eyes first before satisfying her stomach with the singing?

Alright, she endured it.

Well, let’s just go then. Her hunger wasn’t really important now. What mattered most was to comfort her brother Molian first.

...

Ya Village.

Sui Zimo still hadn’t come with her.

But they had agreed that once she returned to meet him, they would set out to complete a few of his virtual tasks, aiming to hasten their visit to Golden Pearl Pavilion to get their hands on the spiritual secret manual.

That way, Lin Chushui wouldn’t have to keep waiting in Ya Village. She knew Yue Chong and Luo Mianyi were also growing impatient.

"Sangsang, how come you’ve lost so much weight?"

Knowing Lin Caisang had returned, Yue Chong and Luo Mianyi came down from Manghuang Mountain especially to join the dinner. Lu Qiubo looked at his granddaughter who had slimmed down considerably in just a few days, his heart aching at the sight, wishing he could put all the delicacies on the table into her bowl.

"It’s the mountains, there’s nothing much to eat or drink, but now that I’m back, grandma will nourish me."

Lin Caisang said with a smile, half-jokingly.

"Right, we’ll fatten you up, eat more," Lu Qiubo earnestly agreed, even as he offered chicken to her bowl.

Suddenly, a chicken leg descended from the sky into Lin Caisang’s bowl. She glanced to the side and saw Lin Chushui, who seemed to have hesitated for quite a while before putting the chicken leg into her bowl.

"Sister Sangsang, you’ve worked hard. Eat more," he said.

"Okay."

Lin Caisang responded with a big smile.

"Although I couldn’t collect everything that should have been collected, it’s nearly done. Chushui, in a few days, you will be able to go back with your parents. Over the next few days, have another look to see if there’s anything else you’d like to take back?"

Her gaze first swept over Yue Chong, then Luo Mianyi, before looking back at Lin Chushui as she spoke.

"Mhm."

Lin Chushui replied softly, his head bowed.

You could roughly tell from his voice that he was reluctant.

But the facts were in front of him—his parents were right there, waiting to take him home for a reunion. He couldn’t possibly stay here forever.

"Sister Sangsang, you can wait a few more days. I’m not in a hurry on my end. You should let grandma help you recover first, and then you can attend to my matters."

After thinking it over, he added another sentence.

Yue Chong: "..."

Sure enough, his boy was someone else’s child. How true that statement was.

Luo Mianyi: "..."

The son wasn’t in a hurry, but she was! There were two younger ones at home waiting for her care. How could she possibly stay here for long?

"Chushui, actually, our family really doesn’t lack anything. Maybe..."

"Mom, are you eager to go back and see your younger sons?"

"Hmm."

The words she didn’t get to say were blocked by her own son’s question, leaving Luo Mianyi flushed and at a loss for words.

"No rush, mom isn’t in a rush either."

Although she had gotten more familiar with her son over the past days, she evidently felt his discomfort and resistance when her other two sons were mentioned. So, when talking to Chushui, she tried her best to avoid bringing up the younger boys.

But even though she could refrain from mentioning them, her heart couldn’t help but yearn for them. They were part of her flesh and blood, who else would she dote on if not them? She cherished all three of her sons equally.

"Miss Lin, take your time to prepare anything you need. We’re not in a rush over here, really not in a rush."
