Chapter 1029: Chapter 1029: Quite lively, isn’t it?

It’s all his fault, refusing to live well and insisting on gambling. Those two girls from the second branch of the Yang Family, they should be sold to the brothel!

But her several children are innocent, why should they also suffer?

"It’s you, all because of you, you thief! Why won’t you just die!" she yelled, her shaking finger pointing straight at Yang Lin from the second branch of the family, her venomous gaze as if trying to stare him to death.

"Why are you scolding him? What’s the point in blaming anyone when things have already come to this?" Old Mr. Yang still couldn’t stand to see his son being scolded, and couldn’t help speaking up for his daughter-in-law.

"If I don’t blame him, whom should I blame, you? Look at the two of you, old and undying, what kind of sons have you raised!" Fifth Aunt Yang was ready to risk it all, yelling at Old Mr. Yang furiously.

She had already been taken to the pawnshop, and surely the whole family was waiting to be sold off one by one. Who knew where they’d end up being sold to.

At this point, why should she care about others? As long as her children could stay with her, she couldn’t care less about the rest, whether they live or die.

And as for her deadbeat husband, don’t think she didn’t know about the shameful things he’d done in the village!

"Oh, my poor children, it’s all Mother’s fault for marrying into such a heartless family, dragging you down to suffer with me!" As she thought, she began to weep, embracing her children and crying.

"You..."

Old Madam Yang, upon hearing her words, was filled with rage.

But what could she say? If the two mothers-in-law started fighting here and attracted the thugs, what would they do? She had to bear it.

"Daughter-in-law, don’t say that. We are all one family, aren’t we?"

Fifth Uncle Yang, cowering in the corner, snuck a glance at the others before speaking to his wife.

"Get lost, who’s your family? You unscrupulous scoundrel, don’t think I don’t know about the things you’ve done in the village. I have not made a scene because of the children. Otherwise, I would have long demanded a divorce letter and scrammed!"

Fifth Aunt Yang was beyond caring about saving face for anybody at that moment.

If she had known what kind of people this family was, she would have demanded a divorce from her husband and left with her children to avoid this disaster.

Now she truly regretted it, but it was too late for regrets.

"Don’t think those two sluts still have a chance to leave you an offspring. Let me tell you, if those sluts get found out, they are bound to be drowned in the pig cage sooner or later! Just you wait and see if they’ll climb out of hell to settle the score with you!"

"I..."

Upon hearing her words, Fifth Uncle Yang shrank his neck in fear.

"Oh, isn’t this lively?"

Suddenly, a familiar voice reached the ears of the Yang family.

The entire family looked up together toward the bars, only to see a broker accompanied by a man and a woman walking over. Seeing the two, Old Madam Yang squinted her old eyes and stretched her hands through the bars, pointing at Lin Caisang.

"It’s you, you little wretch, it’s your doing, isn’t it? I knew long ago that no one from the Lin Family is decent. Yang Lin only turned heartless after following your family, even daring to harm his own parents. You’ll all come to no good end—Ah!"

Her words weren’t even finished when she felt a pain in her arm.

It turned out that the broker could not tolerate Old Madam Yang cursing and disrespecting her distinguished guests, and struck Old Madam Yang’s arm with a wooden stick. Pain forced her to withdraw her arm, whimpering and squatting on the ground.
