Chapter 81: [Volume 1] Chapter 81- Removed.

Her words hung in the air, and this time, both Jay and Aron felt a strange sense of connection to the situation, their expressions shifting momentarily as they processed her reasoning.

Aaron clenched his fists, frustration boiling beneath his composed exterior. "Who the hell named him Prince? His name is Aaron! Aaron!" The words echoed in his mind, but he held back the urge to shout, maintaining a professional smile instead.

Beside him, Jay simmered, anger etched across his features. "How can she just decide everything without asking us?" he thought, glancing at Aron, who seemed equally fumed. Esme’s nonchalance irritated them both; it felt as if she were dismissing their opinions entirely.

"Well, hello, master." Prince turned to Ray and the others, bowing his head slightly, his smile professional and serene. "From now on, I will be the butler and caretaker of this family. If you need anything, please call me." With that, he turned on his heel and walked out of the room.

As soon as he left, he approached a nearby servant, efficiently requesting directions to the guest room. Watching him, Aron and Jay exchanged astonished glances, their eyes wide with disbelief. *Is he treating this place like it’s his own?* Aron thought, feeling a mix of irritation and grudging respect as Prince confidently ordered the servant about.

They turned to Esme for an explanation, only to find her completely unfazed. She was absorbed in a document, her demeanor calm and assured. "It’s okay," she seemed to convey with her relaxed posture, as if Prince’s authority was entirely natural.

Then Kai, who had been lingering nearby, walked up to Esme, closing the door behind him with a decisive click. He turned to her, the tension in his voice palpable. "What the hell are you planning?" He slammed his hand on the table, the sound echoing through the room.

Esme looked up, momentarily startled, then set her file down with a measured calmness. "What do you mean by ’planning’? And what type of behavior is this?" Her tone was cool, the challenge clear in her eyes as she regarded Kai.

His frustration didn’t wane. "You can’t just allow him to take charge like that! This is our home, not a hotel!"

Esme raised an eyebrow, her expression unflinching. "And what would you have me do? Turn him away because you guys doesn’t like his name? We need someone we can trust to manage things around here."

Kai ran a hand through his hair, pacing slightly as he grappled with her logic. "But giving him that authority so soon? What if he oversteps?"

Esme leaned back, her confidence unwavering. "That’s why we keep an eye on him. He’s not just a butler; he’s part of our family now. You need to trust my judgment, Kai."

Kai paused, his agitation simmering as he weighed her words. "Fine," he relented, but his eyes remained narrowed. "but just don’t forget this is our home and also he is not a family he is just a servant here."

Esme didn’t want to argue anymore. Maybe it was the fatigue settling in, or perhaps the growing frustration from endless disputes, but the fight had left her. Her shoulders felt heavy, weighed down by exhaustion.

What’s the point?’,

she thought as she picked up her files again, choosing silence over confrontation. Aron brothers, sensing that they wouldn’t get any response from her, clenched his jaw, visibly irritated. Without another word, he turned on his heel and stormed out of the room, leaving Esme alone with her thoughts.

The next morning arrived, bringing with it a palpable shift in the household. As the dawn light filtered through the windows, there was an undeniable sense of change in the air. The usual quiet disorganization was gone, replaced by an almost military-like order. The servants moved efficiently, barely noticeable, performing their tasks in perfect silence.

When Esme and Around Barasu descended the stairs and entered the dining room, they were greeted by a perfectly set table, the food already waiting. Normally, breakfast was a simple affair: toast, bread, maybe an omelet if they felt like it. Neither of them had ever cared much for big meals in the morning. But today was different.

The table was overflowing with dishes—omelets, eggs, sandwiches, fresh fruit, coffee, juice. It was as if an elaborate feast had been prepared overnight. Esme paused for a moment, taking in the sight of it all, her brow furrowing slightly. This wasn’t their usual routine. Barasu noticed too, his eyes scanning the unfamiliar variety of food laid out before them, but he remained quiet, his expression unreadable.

Just as they sat down, Aron entered the room. Now dressed impeccably in a butler’s uniform, he moved with an air of authority that belied his recent arrival. He approached the table with grace and confidence, bowing slightly as he addressed them. "Good morning, my dear masters."

Esme glanced up, surprised but amused by his demeanor. A smile tugged at her lips as she responded, "Good morning to you too."

Aron brothers, however, remained silent, watching Prince with an expression that was hard to read.

THey wasn’t sure how they felt about this sudden shift in the house’s atmosphere, the way the servants now acted as though they didn’t exist, keeping to the background in eerie silence. The food was different, the routine was different, and Prince’s presence... well, it was certainly making its mark.

Esme, however, appeared unfazed. She reached for her coffee and took a sip, the warmth from the cup grounding her. For once, there was no need for words.

As the afternoon wore on, the house felt unusually quiet. Half of the servants had been dismissed without any warning, leaving an odd stillness in the air. Ray, sitting in his room, was growing more irritated by the minute.

He called out, "Sally!" but there was no response. Frowning, he called again, "James!" Still, no one answered.

Annoyed, Ray was about to shout once more when a knock came at the door. "Where have you been?" he snapped, turning toward the sound. But his words trailed off as the door opened, revealing Aron standing there instead of a servant.
