Chapter 100: [Volume 1] Chapter 100- Helga divine beast.

Ryan’s calm gaze fixed on his brother. His voice was steady, but there was an underlying edge of caution. "Brother, maybe you’ve forgotten, but last time Esme attacked you, she wasn’t even fully using her beast’s power. And yet, you were taken down with ease."

Ray’s face tightened at the memory, the sting of it still fresh.

Ryan continued, his tone softening but no less serious. "This time, it’s not about fighting her beast. We don’t need to overpower it. We need to calm it, to soothe its turmoil. That’s a much more delicate task, and we can’t afford to be reckless. It will take both of your beasts working in harmony to do that."

Helga absorbed the weight of Ryan’s words. The situation was more dangerous than she had initially thought, but backing down wasn’t an option. She nodded, her expression firm, meeting the brothers’ eyes.

"I understand. I’ll do whatever it takes," she said, her voice resolute, as the tension in the room seemed to deepen.

.....

After ten minutes, Ray and Helga stood near Esme, the room sealed as the door clicked shut behind them. Both raised their hands, their palms hovering just above Esme’s forehead. Slowly, a faint glow began to radiate from their hands, filling the space with a strange, almost palpable energy. Aron, along with Aron brothers, stood off in the corner, watching intently as the light grew stronger.

Suddenly, a brilliant light burst forth, and from behind Ray, a massive eagle emerged, its wings outstretched as it screeched loud enough to shake the very walls. The force of its cry sent ripples through the room, rattling objects, threatening to shatter them. The power in that one sound was enough to destroy anything in its path if not contained. Thankfully, Aron and Aron brothers had anticipated this.

They had earplugs specifically designed for these moments, protecting them from the worst of the sound. Yet even with the plugs in place, the roar wasn’t fully silenced. They pressed their hands against their ears, struggling to shield themselves from the unbearable noise.

Then, as the screech began to fade, the light shifted. This time, a deep, glowing red emanated from Helga’s hands, casting the room in a crimson hue.

Along with the light came an intoxicating aroma—sweet, yet almost overpoweringly alluring. The fragrance filled the air, softening the edges of the intensity that had just shaken the room moments before. It was calming, like the scent of something precious but dangerous, wrapping everyone in its invisible embrace.

Thuk thuk thuk

Soon, a new presence filled the room, as if something vast and powerful was descending from the sky itself. A rush of energy, swift and graceful, overtook the space, and in an instant, a large deer-like beast appeared behind Helga. It moved silently, yet its arrival was undeniably powerful.

The beast was striking—its fur was pure white, shimmering like fresh snow, its eyes a serene, piercing blue, with small black dots marking its body in delicate patterns. It exuded an air of calm and control, much like its master, Helga. Unlike the eagle’s fierce and wild energy, the deer’s presence brought with it a sense of quiet strength and wisdom, a balancing force against the chaos stirred moments ago.

Everyone in the room, save for Aron, stood in silent awe, completely stunned by the sight of Helga’s divine beast. Its stillness seemed almost supernatural, as if it had descended from a higher realm with a purpose beyond comprehension. Even Ray, who had just summoned his own powerful beast, couldn’t help but be taken aback by the contrast in their energies.

Aron, though familiar with this sight, watched with quiet respect, knowing that this creature, with its calm exterior, held just as much power as the eagle.

As Helga and Ray focused their powers towards Esme’s forehead, their lights casting a soft glow over her, a sudden forceful eruption of blue light shot out from Esme’s head, flooding the room with an overwhelming intensity. Before anyone could react, a deafening roar echoed, reverberating through the walls as if the very air vibrated with fury.

In an instant, both Helga and Ray were flung backward, crashing against the far wall. Their divine beasts—Helga’s majestic deer and Ray’s fierce eagle—shimmered with protective energy, shielding them from a far worse fate. Without their beasts’ intervention, the sheer force of the energy blast could have caused their organs to rupture under the pressure, and they would’ve been gone in an instant.

Ray, still reeling from the impact, coughed as he struggled to rise, his eyes snapping toward Esme. Hovering above her, a formidable sight met his gaze. A massive white tiger stood over her, its fur glowing with a bluish hue, and black stripes ran across its powerful frame like streaks of shadow. Its eyes glinted gold, glowing with an intensity that made the air feel charged. It looked down on Ray, Helga, and the others as though they were nothing more than prey, its gaze sharp and calculating, filled with both ancient power and untamed ferocity.

Ray’s heart pounded in his chest as he realized the magnitude of what they were dealing with. This was no ordinary divine beast—it was Esme’s, unleashed in its full glory and wrath. He winced, his muscles straining as he tried to understand how they could calm such a creature.

Helga, unlike Ray, appeared less surprised. She’d seen something like this before—she’d seen Esme’s divine beast, the white tiger, emerge in times of extreme emotional turmoil. Yet even now, with all her experience, the sheer force of its presence felt like a dangerous storm looming over them.

The tiger’s presence filled the room, exuding a primal power that felt nearly uncontrollable. It chained down Helga and Ray’s divine beasts, holding them in place, asserting its dominance. The room felt oppressive, as though each breath was a battle against the force pressing down on them.

Helga slowly stood up, eyes locked on the tiger, her voice calm but firm. "We need to find a way to soothe her. This tiger... it’s not here to protect her—it’s here to defend her pain."

Ray nodded, his gaze flicking between Helga and the golden-eyed predator. "But how do we get close without tearing ourselves apart?"
