Chapter 292: Chapter 292- Moving Through A House With A Single Candle In Hand

The mountain Sol was on was covered in dense forest trees, however, in a certain area there was a large section of jagged rocks.

Along with the jagged rocks, the area was quite steep. It would fill any experienced climber looking for a thrill with fear. Not to mention a regular person who had no experience in climbing. They would have looked at this mountain and thought it was suicide for anyone to climb it.

However, if someone with good eyesight was standing at the base of the mountain while looking up at this particular area, they would be dumbfounded by the scene unfolding before them. Especially if they were only Mortals without a cultivation base.

On this steep rocky area of the mountain, the sight of a massive boulder with a diameter of about forty meters was seen slowly moving up the mountain.

Undoubtedly this scene would have caused any Mortal human to be filled with shock, and even cultivators in the Mortal Realm would raise their brows completely taken aback.

Underneath this massive boulder, Sol was topless and was sweating profusely. However, he was extremely calm as he carried this gigantic boulder.

With nimbleness that could leave a monkey gaping, he skipped up the mountain, leaping from one jagged rock to another.

With one last leap, Sol landed on a rough clearing that was dug out on the side of this jagged mountain.

This clearing was around one to one hundred and fifty meters in length. At the end, a large entrance of a cave was seen on the side of the mountain.

It seemed like the unfinished construction of a roofless balcony of some sort.

Abdu was lying down near the fifty-meter-wide entrance of the cave. When he saw Sol carrying the massive boulder, he rolled his eyes.

"Don’t you think you’re going overboard with this?"

BANG!

Sol dropped the large boulder on the rough ground causing the entire mountain to tremble a bit. He then leaped on top of it.

Looking at Abdu from his elevated position, Sol grinned.

"I’m going to stay here for the next few months so I might as well go all out!"

After saying this, Sol then used his foot to roll the boulder across the rough ground, trying to smooth it out.

He was really meticulous and would even roll the boulder to the very edge of the mountain to get every inch of the ground.

However, as he did this the boulder almost tipped over the cliff.

Sol chuckled, and instead of being scared, he started purposely rolling the boulder to the edge of the cliff, quickly forgetting his serious attitude previously.

"Haha, Little Abdu look at this!"

Sol called for Abdu.

Abdu opened his eyes and glanced at Sol to see him rolling the boulder across the edge of the cliff.

Sol was in a giggle fit, and he seemed to be enjoying himself.

However, his fun was cut short as the bottom part of the boulder cracked, this caused it to tip over the edge of the cliff as if it wanted to escape this predicament it found itself in.

"Hup!"

Sol hurriedly leaped off the boulder. After he landed, his bent legs straightened, and he rushed towards the edge of the cliff to peer over it.

He was just in time to see the boulder land on the ground after slamming into the side of the mountain on its way down.

The echoing of the loud bang when it hit the ground entered Sol’s ears and he pursed his lips due to his fun having being interrupted.

"Well, at least the ground is a bit smoother."

Sol squatted and inspected the ground. It wasn’t entirely even, but it should do.

"Weren’t you going to use that boulder as the door to this entrance?"

Sol paused before he sighed at his forgetfulness.

Sometime later, another boulder was seen scaling the jagged mountain.

After Sol reached the top, he walked towards the side of the cave entrance and dropped the boulder with a loud bang.

After measuring the height of the boulder to the height of the entrance, he saw that there were about ten meters of space that would be left at the top.

That was fine since he didn’t want to cut himself off from the outside world after he entered seclusion.

After doing this, Sol flipped back his bangs with his hand and whipped the sweat from his brows.

Unbeknownst to him, his actions along with his topless figure would have been a feast for his ever-growing fanatic fangirls back in Jianghu.

Well, it’s not like he knew anything about what his statement in his file had done.

Sol then stepped into his Immortal Cave, and it was finally revealed what he was actually up to.

His steps caused an echo to ring out in the cave; well, can this even be called a cave anymore?

The size was around two to three hundred meters in radius. To prevent the cave from collapsing, Sol was smart enough to leave several pillar-like structures when he was excavating this abode.

From the size, one would think it would take a while excavate, but it was relatively easy for Sol, and it took him roughly three hours to fully get it to this size, and another hour to clean things up. So, it took him about four hours to create his Immortal Cave by himself.

Well, he did get Abdu’s help in scouting the best location where the mountain was strong enough to handle such excavations.

After walking a few meters into the cave, Sol sat down cross-legged.

However, after he sat down, he glanced behind him and saw the massive unused space.

Sol scratched his cheek and smiled embarrassingly.

"Ah, maybe I might have gotten too excited and went overboard."

A snort could be heard coming from Abdu as he continued to lie at the entrance of the cave.

Sol took out his Disciple Token and seeing that no messages came in from Yoon-Jae he got worried.

"I sent him a message that I was going into seclusion before I started building this cave abode, but he hasn’t responded yet. I hope nothing bad happened."

After scratching his head, Sol placed back his Disciple Token into his storage ring and decided to cultivate to recuperate his exhausted Aether Energy.

With his hands resting on his crossed knees while closing his eyes, Sol started his cultivation.

A green mist was suddenly pulled from the surroundings and entered through his pores.

This method of absorbing Aether Energy through one’s pores was quite rare in the Mortal Realm.

Usually, one would inhale through their nose or mouth. After the Aether Energy entered one’s lungs, the pure Aether Energy would disseminate through their meridians while the impure Aether Energy would be exhaled.

Absorbing Aether Energy through one’s pores cuts out the process of separating the pure and impure Aether Energy.

The pores acted like a filter and only absorbed pure Aether Energy from the surroundings.

Normally only those in the Spiritual Realm would be able to cultivate like this after completely refining their bodies, however, Sol’s body was already refined once so he was able to accomplish this feat.

After the stream of green mist entered Sol’s body via his pores, he used his Absorption Technique to circulate the stream through four hundred and sixty-two of his meridians.

This was another reason why creating an Aether Energy Absorption Technique was so hard. Merely using a few meridians to cultivate was only condemning oneself to a limited future in cultivation.

The more meridians one uses to absorb and cultivate Aether Energy the better.

While creating his Aether Energy Absorption Technique, Sol was able to find four hundred and sixty-two meridians that led to all his acupoints. Through these meridian pathways, he would circulate Aether Energy to open them one by one.

However, the difficulty in finding these meridians pathway lies in the fact that Mortal Realm cultivators like Sol didn’t have Soul Energy to see the entire state of their bodies.

As the stream of Aether Energy moved through Sol’s four hundred and sixty-two meridians, it felt like he was moving through a house with a single candle in hand.

He could only see the path in front of him where the candlelight shone, but not the entire house.
