Chapter 150: Chapter 150- Sudden Commotion

"Please Brother Sol, we need your help."

Ji-Hoon asked once more as he bowed deeply.

Sol looked at him and sighed internally.

This was too sudden, he didn’t know what to immediately do, whether to help or not.

After contemplating for a moment Sol asked.

"How long until the Academy fixes the Teleportation Array?"

Ji-Hoon raised his head and replied.

"It will take at least a month and a half, three months if the person we have on the outside manages to fully carry out the plan."

"Are you in communication with this person?"

Ji-Hoon shook his head.

"So, you’re operating on a month and a half deadline to get the inheritance? What about the others in the dimension, are you in communication with them and have they acquired the other keys?"

"I am, there are still two remaining but within two weeks we’ll acquire them."

"How will you get to the Main Palace?"

"We’ll travel from the Subsidiary Palaces to the Main Palace."

Sol frowned at that.

"There are Spirit Beasts that are in the Spiritual Realm within the Inner Court, will you even make it to the Main Palace within a month’s time alive?"

"Don’t worry Brother Sol, we have someone in the Sects and Clans that acquired a map with the safe routes to the Main Palace."

"Still, that’s extremely risky, what if the map is outdated? Or a Spiritual Realm beast created its territory on one of those routes?"

Of course, Ji-Hoon had thought of this. All of them did when created this plan four years ago. But this was one of the risky parts of this plan they had to deal with.

It was either they failed, or they would be the ones to help return their Sect to its former glory.

"What about the Teleportation Arrays?"

Abdu suddenly asked.

"What do you mean Little Abdu?"

Abdu slowly explained.

"The Servant Palaces have Teleportation Arrays that allowed the servants to teleport to the Subsidiary Palaces, so why wouldn’t there be Teleportation Arrays that lead to the Main Palace?"

Ji-Hoon shook his head.

"We read that Immortal Shen was a reclusive person that didn’t allow anyone to enter his Palace."

Abdu let out a loud snort upon hearing that then said.

"Out of the three strongest Immortals at the time, Immortal Shen was the most boastful and shameless out of them all. He wrote hundreds of thousands of books about himself and spread them across the Violet Continent so people could read his embellished feats. He created those Teleportation Arrays specifically so people could see his Palace."

Suddenly Sol thought back on some of the books he browsed in the library, and a weird smile appeared on his face.

This Immortal Shen was quite the character.

Meanwhile, Ji-Hoon was staring at Abdu with fear.

Why was he speaking as if he was there when Immortal Shen existed?

Just where did this cat come from?

As Ji-Hoon was becoming fearful of Abdu’s existence, Abdu added.

"However, some of the Teleportation Aarrays might be damaged since the beasts have most likely destroyed them and the Palaces during their rampage."

"Still, thank you...uhm"

"Just call me Little Abdu."

Ji-Hoon felt it was weird but still said with a bow.

"Thank you Little Abdu. I’ll inform my partners of these Teleportation Arrays."

"Awe, do you like the name I gave you that much?"

Sol suddenly said as he picked up Abdu and started rubbing his cheeks against his face.

Sol then went to lovingly kiss Abdu’s cheeks, but with a smack, Abdu suddenly pawed him across his cheek.

Sol felt his cheek become numb before a throbbing red paw print appeared on it.

"Owe, that hurt Little Abdu."

Sol wined as Abdu leaped out of his hold and went back to lay on top of his head.

Afterward, he ignored Sol and then said to Ji-Hoon.

"Look here brat, tell those partners of yours to do everything they can to get those Teleportation Arrays operational. This dimension once had spatial barriers that split the three Courts. The barriers might have been destroyed by those beasts during their rampage, but some residue might still remain. And considering they were once used to keep power beasts in check, their residue could kill bugs like you in an instant."

Ji-Hoon gulped down a large lump of saliva. They knew they were risking a lot executing this plan, but truly they had no idea how much they were risking.

Ji-Hoon thanked Abdu again before he turned to Sol and asked.

"Brother Sol, will you help us?"

He hoped the earlier conversation was Sol determining whether it was worth helping them or not. But perhaps he wouldn’t because if he did and was caught, he had a lot more to lose than them.

Sol remained silent for a moment as Ji-Hoon and even Abdu waited for his reply.

But Abdu knew Sol had plans to enter the deeper regions of the Inner Court, so there was a high likelihood he would agree.

However, before Sol could respond, a loud and sudden commotion was heard coming from the front of the ruined Palace.

The commotion was loud enough to prompt Sol and Ji-Hoon to rush toward the source.

Not only them, but the alchemy disciples that had dispersed came rushing back to see what was going on.

At the front of the ruined Palace, a group of six people, two girls and four boys, came frantically running.

"We need to see Brother Sol and Brother Yoon-Jae! Where are they?!!"

One of the boys yelled as he pushed his way past the alchemy disciples that gathered around.

Everyone was confused but then they saw another one of the male disciples behind the one doing the pushing, carrying a girl on his back.

"Hey, what’s going on?"

A youth in the crowd grabbed the shoulder of the youth pushing disciples away, wanting to know what was happening.

However, before he could answer, a mournful cry echoed out for all to hear.

"ELDER SISTER!!"

Everyone looked at the entrance of the ruined Pavilion to see a male disciple running down the stairs with tears pouring out of his eyes like a fountain.

He came up to the girl being carried by the male disciple and started crying even harder.

"Elder sister, where were you? I thought you were dead! Wah!"

The girl looked at her brother and scolded him.

"Why are you being so dramatic? I told you I was leaving for a bit to collect some flowers!"

"Elder sister that was a week ago, I thought a Demonic Cult spy had killed you!"

The girl’s face stiffen and she immediately said.

"Shut up! What nonsense are you saying?"

However, it was too late, the crowd had already heard.

Gasps echoed out as the missing Bong Seon was finally found.

But what’s with her injuries?

Everyone saw that there were several bruises around her wrists and forearms.

"No, it’s true! We found Senior Sister Seon tied up behind a boulder in the forest. Someone... Someone actually tied her up and... and..."

One of the female disciples was heard saying this. Even though she didn’t finish because she was choking up with emotion, everyone knew what she was trying to say.

"Who would do something so vile to a fellow disciple?"

"Do you really think someone from our Alchemy Pavilion would do something like this? Aren’t cases like this similar to the actions of the Demonic Cult?"

"Wait! Could it be that the Demonic Cult’s spy was the one who tied up Senior Sister Seon?"

An uproar immediately echoed from the crowd of disciples.
