Chapter 1112: Chapter 132 Finn, Why Is There Something Green on Your Head?_4

After several encounters, the two had long accumulated considerable enmity.

Thus, as soon as they met, both sides unleashed their full power without hesitation.

Celebrian raised her right hand adorned with the Magic Ring, the stars collapsing into a halo among her silver hair, the blazing white light evoked by the Noldorin spell surging forward. However, it was pierced by the Blood Spear Maeve threw—its tip entwined with the curses of Death and corruption, shattering the Elf Water Mirror into a liquid diamond rain.

"Crush that bitch, my beloved Steel War Chariot!"

Maeve swung the Thorny Whip, and a majestic brown Bull charged out of the Magic Array, pulling a Golden Chariot, carrying a graceful silhouette, crushing over the field dyed emerald green ahead.

A crimson cloak flapped wildly in the fierce wind, transforming into a colossal curtain devouring the sun and moon yet was scorched with burn marks by the Double Holy Tree Illusion blooming at Celebrian’s fingertips.

As the Queen of Connacht’s chariot plowed through the emerald light curtain on the ground, advancing rapidly forward, the Elf Queen’s lips moved slightly, beneath her feet blooming the Dusk Star Flower Array, each petal refracting light formed from Elf Language and Lun Runes.

Maeve snorted coldly, casting a Charming Kiss, commanding the earth’s elements to form a Purple Crystal Chain binding the Elf Queen’s ankle, but Celebrian forged the Magic Ring’s light into a Star Blade, slicing the chain into fragments that exploded into a swarm of dark red bees in the air.

The battle intensified.

The most lethal confrontation occurred at the moment their Authorities unfolded: Maeve ripped the earth’s amniotic membrane, summoning rows of earth spikes to collide with the golden light before Celebrian. The two surges of violent Divine Power tore open rifts in space, the Elf’s Starlight Tears and the Queen’s Golden Crown shattered simultaneously, with falling fragments plowing deep, unfathomable dark chasms into the earth.

Similar fierce combat occurred on Cu Chulainn’s side.

Though he and his Red Branch Knights were valiant, four Nordic magicians utilized the enigmatic mist to continually create magic traps and illusions, pushing Cu Chulainn and the Red Branch Knights to exhaustion.

"Sneaky cowards, what kind of skill is that!"

Facing such tactics, Cu Chulainn cursed in anger, yet dared not separate from the Red Branch Knights.

He could barely protect his companions as it was, and splitting up would nearly mean preparing for some of their funerals in advance.

After all, not every Red Branch Knight possessed solo capabilities.

Seeing their enemies on the battlefield completely divided, unable to guard both front and rear, the four magicians nodded together, issuing a unified signal.

Simultaneously, the dense fog trembled once more, with two streams of black and silver light speeding like lightning, striking both ends of the Fiona Battle Group.

One darted towards Ao Xiang commanding in place of his father Finn, the other crashed towards the carriage at the convoy’s tail end.

There was where Princess Grainne resided.

Sensing something amiss, Finn hastily disentangled from Sigurd, hesitated briefly, then decisively hurled his spear towards where his son Ao Xiang stood.

"Boom!"

A violent explosion resounded, repelling the dagger-wielding Dark Elf Queen Rose.

But on the other side, Xili had already cleaved down with a Steel Sword, demolishing the carriage.

Amidst the flying splinters, a young man with short hair as black as Raven feathers and cheeks red as mountain pear fruit cradled Princess Grainne, retreating swiftly.

It was Diarmuid!

Seeing the crisis averted, Finn exhaled a long sigh of relief and immediately commanded his nephew:

"Protect the Princess for me! Take her away first!"

Diarmuid nodded respectfully, immediately cradling Princess Grainne, evading Xili’s sword light, and dashing towards the depths of the dense forest, away from this stalemated battlefield.

However, neither master nor servant noticed the fleeting disappointment and anger in Princess Grainne’s eyes.

—Finn’s choice at the critical moment was not
