Chapter 654: 10.02.2 A hot lady is here.

It rained blood for seven days, at the end of which, the serpent rose from the seas again, its body slimmer, its scales sharper, and its head filled with confusion seeing the seas red with blood. "CHALICE!" That pathetic mage had hunted him many times throughout his life, always harvesting him, but Dragon didn’t mind it, to it, such suffering was helping him grow stronger, and it wouldn’t be long before he was strong enough to devour Chalice, just like he had done so before.

This forced the bastard to find a new vessel and come for revenge, which was mostly using the original Life Baan to seal him, and not the false one that sealed him for a month used by Amir.

But that is still too far off, The Dragon understood that he would be harvested once again, giving it more chance to grow, and find what it lacked from becoming a true dragon.

Which is why it cried to the Blood mage Angel Chalice, looking for his position. But found nothing besides the rotten smell of blood in the air and empty ships that seemed to contain pieces of his body. "Coward running away... I will destroy your flesh once again." Dragon in his arrogance thought Chalice ran away due to his growing strength, which made him even more confident and strengthened his resolve to take his revenge.

Though for Chalice, the last week had been frustrating, he ran around, looking for any clues over who this individual was and why and how he could steal his own chalice, the innate treasure. Such absurdity left him flabbergasted and fearful for a bit.

Even though it was indestructible due to the God of Wine’s blessing, who knows what this bizarre man was capable of? What other means he had? This made the situation worse when he finally learned some details after he showed the face to the intelligence of the Cynark kingdom. "A Scholar?" Riktor Malidi, an unknown name, and family in his eyes. And even more absurd was the background of this family.

’A bunch of mages.’ Though this all felt unbelievable in his eyes, how could such a small mage family develop such a powerful and bizarre expert? No, there should be something wrong. There ought to be something going out of his hand.

"No, this can’t be allowed." With such thoughts, the body of Chalice went limp for a while as his true body hidden in the other world opened its eyes.

A body that appeared human with two small horns and a stone a total of four stone tablets that floated around him. "Oh noble Murafir, I wish for an audience." Murafir, the youngest of the Children of God of Wine, and the only one awake at the moment. It was also he who awoke Chalice when the word of Immortal Snake’s revival reached his ears.

He was also the deity that had kept the gods of Azad from interfering too much in the land of Brihma. Which went to show his strength. "Mage Rishabh your request is granted." Came a sound followed by a giant castle that broke through reality and appeared in front of Chalice. Who with a look of reverence entered it without shame.

In truth, Chalice being the top enforcer and combat Angel of God of Wine, his strength did exceed the Third Child, who was an original ancestor Vampire, but the identity of being the child of his owner made an instinctive desire to worship such deity. Not to mention, unlike him who was only good at destruction, the being in front of him had skills that far exceeded his in countless departments. And was also the architect who developed Cynark into what it is today.

As for how he looked? Entering the Castle devoid of any life, Chalice walked past the throne room and then a giant meeting room, he kept walking past all these until coming across a small gate with a single woman guarding it. To whom he bowed in respect and announced his arrival.

"Enter." Came the voice.

Inside the door was a small room with a total of three books on the table and a cup of fresh blood wine on the side. As for what was in those books, Chalice for some reason couldn’t read them even with all his strength, which did disturb him, but this was common, and he had seen those books hundreds of times by now, it’s always these same three books. "Don’t focus too hard, you will be lost like me." A childish voice spoke.

In front of the table sat a boy, barely four years old, his eyes tired and his face paler than a Ghost. If one didn’t know his true identity, they would think of him as a sickly child on the verge of death. Though the majority of those who did look at him would die before they could even think, that’s how high his very existence is.

"Speak of it Rishabh, what did you do this time? Did the Serpent devour your body again?" Murafir had been aware of why Chalice was woken up, so he put the two and two together before coming to such a simple.

However, that was obviously not the reason, as Chalice with some pained expression explained the issue. Which did make the small child wonder for a bit. "Such a unique person, I would love to meet him." He spoke, giving the servant of his father a deep look before asking. "But do you truly wish to employ their help? The price will be for you to incur."

"I have no choice, the chalice contains part of my life." Those beings, the small group that stays away from worldly matters and rarely interacts with it unless the issue concerns the survival of this very world, or might impact the life of countless.

"I will put in a word, you can go back and wait for their answer." The child spoke, before thinking for a while and saying. "And don’t antagonize this child, talents like this should be valued, and him being one of ours, it’s all the more reason for us to show him some goodwill. So once you get your chalice back, try to make him turn to us." Murafir was interested in this child who was capable of stopping Chalice and stealing something so important from him. Such talents can’t be wasted. As for the issues with the family and the misery he was forced to endure in his youth? Murafir didn’t even consider them being a problem. In his eyes, mortal relations mattered not in front of benefits and the eternal future for all those who entered the rank of Daemon. Not to mention, those incidences were merely a blip of Malidi’s long life, would he really care about what happened to him at that time?

Well, he doesn’t. Malidi had long forgotten about it because he just found it somewhat troublesome and nothing more. In his long life, he barely had any recollection of his family, nor did he care about them or those that remained. The only one he did care about, his sister had already died of old age. Which left him truly free of their influence.

But that’s where Murafir made a mistake, Malidi might not personally care about what happened, but Arbood, his book boy did, which made Malidi care. So although unaware of this small detail, Murafir was surprised when Malidi eventually denied such advances.

And so the child spoke, before returning to the three books, its eyes red and bleeding the more it read it while Chalice getting what he was here for calmly left the scene.

And with that, the castle also disappeared into this bizarre realm where countless monsters hid, with Chalice being one of the strongest monsters himself. Or so he thought as he felt a bright light shining from the horizon. A burning Zeal he had been well aware of. ’She is here.’ His actions in the real world have probably been learned by the Radiant Knights, and although the Brihma Chapter didn’t contain any of the Daemon-level figures, for beings of such stature, traveling through the continent didn’t take long for them. And considering the fiery gaze he felt at this moment, Chalice knew he was caught.

"Hmph, you are wasting your time." With those words, he left the world, reappearing in the real world as his blank eyes returned to color, though when looking at his arm, he did notice a burning palm print. "Your arrival changes nothing." With those words, the palm print disappeared off of Chalice’s arm who disappeared from the place and entered his hiding place.

All he needed to do was wait for their answer.

As for the entity he met, she was already in the air closer to the Brihma continent.

Her hair was red, her body ripe, and unlike the purity usually exuded by a radiant Knight, even the armor she wore barely hid her curves, which might make many fall for her charm and call her a seductress.

But barely anyone who called her that ever survived.

"A bond of blood, there are others close by." She spoke, as her body left the void and appeared above a somewhat populated island with a small village on one side and a jungle on the other, part of which is already used for farming.

Though she was not interested in the village, she was drawn to the two figures walking among the villagers and attracting their attention.

"The Child of the burning zeal, such an unexpected meeting." Can it be said to be fate? She believed it as such, so with a single thought, a giant phantom maw appeared under the feet of Remira and Vance, and before they had the time to react, this maw closed in, devouring them.

And with their disappearance, so did disappear the memories of the two from the minds of the villagers and the sailors they were travelling with.
