The Ger's Contract Marriage [BL]
Chapter 500: Many Beauties...

Chapter 500: Many Beauties...

The stranger turned, his eyes meeting FengLi’s with an intensity that sent a shiver down his spine. "FengLi," the man said, his voice rich and smooth. "I’ve heard much about you."

FengLi froze as he realized where he knew this stranger from. This was the man they shared a booth with at the auction house. This was the man who listened to all his moans as Brother Jian teased him...

The silver-haired ger was at a complete loss for a moment, his face freezing as if he was a broken toy. He didn’t know where to go from that point. Who was this man? Was this man his surprise? How had the man and Brother Jian come into contact with each other?

Without noticing his hesitation, Brother Jian easily put his arm around FengLi’s waist drawing him closer to the table.

"This is Daoist Dong Yang. He is a cultivator from beyond Dongzhou’s boundary!" Brother Jian was clearly excited. He’d found a genuine talented cultivator from beyond the faraway continent with only a few talents and limited cultivation resources.

The land was once fertile with energy and resources, but this continent was in decline, yet they were able to meet a genuine cultivator with true talent. FengLi could feel the man’s cultivation level even without touching him.

This Daoist was only a step behind him in cultivation—him, a dragon!—and was ahead of Brother Jian!

They were both clearly from other higher realms, but Brother Jian was so excited to find a genuine talent from this lower dimension. It was cute. His Brother Jian was very cute.

FengLi’s reaction was quickly controlled as he pulled himself together. He wasn’t sure exactly what his surprise was—the revelation that the man was a cultivator or that his mate wanted to do "adventurous" things in the man’s presence once again, were the two options his brain had settled on.

Instead of lingering on the surprise, FengLi was more curious as to why he couldn’t tell the man’s cultivation level in the booth at the auction house, was there some sort of talisman that the proprietor of the action house used that caused this?

That would be a talisman he was interested in acquiring and learning how to make in the future.

"It is a pleasure to meet you Daoist Dong Yang, though I didn’t expect to meet you tonight."

FengLi could be subtle, but he held no friendship with the man and didn’t hold his tongue back too much.

The stranger smiled, a knowing glint in his eyes. "Surprises are the spice of life, don’t you think?"

FengLi held his gaze, feeling the familiar thrill of the hunt. "Indeed," he said, his lips curling into a seductive smile. "And I do occasionally enjoy a good surprise."

If the beautiful man wanted to play, FengLi would play.

They took their seats at the table, the soft candlelight casting flickering shadows around them. FengLi glanced at Brother Jian, who was watching him with a mix of amusement and admiration.

This was his chance to solidify his place, to show that he was not just a contender but the true prize. FengLi’s confidence grew, it was time to turn on his charm.

FengLi was confused. He had decided to do what he did best...hunt. But how had the night become so much more than he intended? The thought was a main theme as FengLi retraced the events of the evening.

FengLi had engaged in conversation with both men, his charm and wit on full display. This was a man of the lower realm who clearly didn’t know they were demon beasts. Daoist Dong Yang should believe they were also Daoists like himself. As a genuine native of this world, he should be a bit uncomfortable dining with a ger.

FengLi knew he could change his form to a man to make the other more comfortable, to make others in this world in general more comfortable, but he had decided to find himself a mate. From the moment he laid eyes on Brother Jian, he wanted to bear the man’s children.

So, he had taken this form that had more risks, but he thought it would be better to seduce the Dragonborn. Who was this guest to make him second guess his decision?

Still, the calmness of Dong Yang was refreshing.

For a human, he was a great and smooth conversationalist. Many human cultivators who were able to reach such great heights in life were a bit reclusive or sinister in nature. They either dedicated themselves to cultivation or were focused on stealing opportunities from others.

Dong Yang didn’t seem to fit into either category. If he did, he hid it very well, so well that FengLi’s keen senses weren’t picking up anything out of the ordinary. In fact, what he was picking up on was the man’s strong interest in himself... himself and Brother Jian, but the man was primarily focused on him.

It was strange, but FengLi leaned into his man, Brother Jian, and let the conversation go as it would. The new guest was intriguing, but FengLi made sure to keep Brother Jian’s attention firmly on him.

He laughed at his jokes, complimented his insights, and subtly touched his hand, each gesture designed to reinforce their connection, but he didn’t neglect their guest either. He was a multi-talented hunter!

The two men both enjoyed his cooking, eating heartily. FengLi was amused that a human seemed to have an appetite similar to a demon beast’s, but it was flattering watching them enjoy his labor.

He couldn’t control the smile on his lips. Both men were quite tall and needed plenty of nourishing in his opinion. Whether he and Dong Yang would grow closer in the future, he wouldn’t be picky if Brother Jian invited him over for dinner again.

As the night went on, FengLi’s confusion only grew. He had planned to focus on Brother Jian, to further solidify their bond, but Daoist Dong Yang’s presence added an unexpected layer to the evening. The Daoist was charming and intelligent, with an aura of calm that was rare among human cultivators.

He was neither overbearing nor distant, and his genuine interest in FengLi was evident.

FengLi found himself caught in a delicate balance, trying to maintain his attention on Brother Jian while not ignoring Dong Yang. The Daoist’s eyes held a warmth and curiosity that made FengLi uneasy yet intrigued. He couldn’t quite place why this man felt familiar, why his presence stirred something deep within him—something positive and negative.

The conversation flowed easily, Dong Yang asking "innocent sounding" questions and sharing stories of his travels and experiences. Brother Jian listened with interest, occasionally sharing his own tales. FengLi felt a sense of something building between the three of them, a feeling that both comforted and confused him.

"Your cooking is exceptional, FengLi," Dong Yang said, his eyes meeting FengLi’s with a sincerity that was hard to ignore. "I’ve rarely had such a meal."

FengLi felt a flush of pride at the compliment. "Thank you, Dong Yang. It’s a pleasure to cook for those who appreciate it."

Brother Jian smiled, his hand gently squeezing FengLi’s. "He’s being modest. FengLi’s cooking is always exceptional."

The warmth in Brother Jian’s voice made FengLi’s heart flutter. He glanced at Dong Yang, who was watching them with an inscrutable expression. The Daoist’s gaze shifted between FengLi and Brother Jian as if trying to understand the bond they shared.

He would admit though that his judgment at that point had already been impaired as he’d had one too many glasses of spirit wine. The men’s words weren’t as affected as his, but it was a strong brew, and they weren’t unaffected.

As the evening continued on, FengLi couldn’t shake the feeling that something had shifted. The presence of Dong Yang had added a new dynamic, one that he couldn’t quite decipher. He was drawn to the Daoist’s calm demeanor and keen intellect, but his heart remained firmly tied to Brother Jian.

After dinner, the three of them moved to the garden with the final barrel of spirit wine still in tow, the cool night air a welcome change from the warmth of the house. The moons hung low in the sky, casting a silvery glow over the landscape. FengLi walked between the two men, feeling a strange sense of balance and connection.

Dong Yang spoke of his travels, of ancient temples and hidden valleys, his voice a soothing melody in the night. Brother Jian listened attentively, occasionally glancing at FengLi with a soft smile.

At first, the scent of blooming flowers mingling with the night air was enough to distract FengLi, but as he took a deep breath, nothing could pull him from the two men.

The man between his legs seemed to swallow down his jade sword hungrily, his black hair covering his face as he worked with full focus. The brown-haired Dragonborn above him feasted on his lips, cutting off the fresh air FengLi had so desperately tried to pull into his lungs.

What was this situation?
